1561  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't lose your profit unnecessarily on: November 04, 2021, 08:26:24 AM
More than what I expected sometimes.
But, personally, I will think that taking profits at the right moment is very important for me. taking profits as in target, not based on greediness.
I learnt much from my past that I will not be greedy again for taking profits. Because I lost much money because being too greedy when going to take profits.
Many people also may experience this.
At least, we can read the market even in small chance, doing some analysis and also taking the right decision for what eprentage and also price target to take profits.

Setting a target amount to take profit is good for a trader who just prefer to hold their crypto for how long as it takes as long as the target amount will be hit, some traders also prefer to make a profit any amount they want as long as they have already gain a profit be it a small profit at a time which this is a kind of active daily trading I guess. Every traders has their own way of taking profit out of their investment but in my case I am just holding my crypto and set a target amount.
Every trader has its own way of making profits. And as for me, i stick with my plan as long as the market is in a good shape. I always set a target selling price as a trader, and it really works for me. Although sometimes i made regrets, my profits could have been bigger if i hold the coins longer than my plan, but that is what trading all about. Being able to anticipate when is the best time to sell your coins, that is why we need technical analysis so we can come up with more good and reliable bases for our trading.

However, taking small profits consistently is good, at least you are not losing. But if you are often doing it, you will have no chance to gain a huge amount of profit.

1562  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lomachenko vs Commey - December 11 on: November 04, 2021, 07:08:48 AM
While Lopez keeps delaying his fight, people now have slowly forgotten his loss against Lopez because Loma is more active now and he keeps fighting to prove that he is still here.

Lopez vs Loma rematch should happen, that's what everyone wants to see, and even if Lopez won against an injured Loma, I guess I'll still trust Loma to reclaim himself if a rematch would happen, hopefully, Lopez will take that challenge.
1563  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tommy Fury vs Jake Paul on: November 04, 2021, 06:15:13 AM
I am yet to watch Tommy Fury fight but i know he is the brother of Tyson Fury and they are good boxers who learned the craft at a very young age and it will be good fight but i am yet to see the strengths and levels of Tommy Fury. Jake Paul is really good when he is facing decent fighters and he is much better than Logan Paul in terms of boxing skills, need to check the rest of the details.

I am not really familiar with the two subjected claiming fighter that will going to execute the bouts but I do have read a few comments here regarding their brothers are good fighters, maybe the game that will be executed will be a measurement which one has the best coach (based on their brothers coaching) lol. For sure, both personality have had trained for this coming fight however upon checking on profile of the fighter it seems that Tommy Fury was a more experienced fighter than Jake Paul, which I assume that this bout will be more on Tommy Fury favor.
Tommy Fury is not only an experienced fighter but he is also a real boxer and he has been boxing all his life, and that is not only his advantage but he will prove the difference between a YouTuber who will box for money and a real boxer.
although I don't really know these two fighters, and after I searched for more information about the advantages and disadvantages of both I think Tommy Fury can beat Jake Paul because he is a boxer who has definitely mastered it.
I guess everyone will be on Tommy Fury now, I mean, that's obvious because Fury is not a leftover, still young and can box, so there's no chance Jake Paul would win this fight. I don't know who made this to happen, and if it's Jake Paul, I think he made a wrong decision fighting a young and real boxer.
1564  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin adoption by banks - good or bad? on: November 03, 2021, 11:29:48 PM
Good, all adoption is good for Hodlers. It really depends for the rest of people. If you trade, you may not want too many professional traders hanging around as it may become a fiery competition. If you believe in decentralisation and being your own bank, you probably want them out. Else, you probably are happy about it and about being able to get your stuff in a bank.
I think in general, bitcoin adoption is good. It's good for all of us as it gets more usage rather than simply as an investment alone. And to think that the main goal of crypto is to become a global currency, then it will certainly happen soon no matter what.  The process might be hard and tough for bitcoin to be fully adopted in the whole world, but i think once we got there, there will be more benefits we can gain from having crypto compared to fiat so definitely it we be all worth it. The country's economy will progress, and there will be financial independence not just for our individual's economy but rather for the whole world. But for sure, bitcoin will be more regulated by that time.
1565  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we accelerate the mass adoption of crypto? on: November 03, 2021, 08:59:46 PM
EL Salvador is indeed a country that adopts bitcoin and makes it a legal tender, but we see the conflict behind the adoption. Several community groups did not agree with the adoption and had caused riots.

Everyone's thoughts are different. Pros and cons about bitcoin or crypto will always be everywhere. Mass adoption is increasingly visible, but the impact of such adoption will also be felt. Bitcoin is still a payment option that can be chosen or only used for commodity trading. it depends on the needs of each country.
The mass adoption for crypto is really in a fast pace right now knowing there are big companies and financial institutions that are supporting crypto at the moment more particularly with bitcoin. But these pros and cons for crypto also continues and i think this will not be stopped as long as the government itself is not yet supporting crypto and is still focused on fiat. But not in general really because we already have El Salvador who made bitcoin as a legal tender. I think the best way to accelerate the mass adoption for crypto is to utilize it as a currency because its the main goal of crypto.
1566  Economy / Speculation / Re: When new ATH? When moon? on: November 03, 2021, 06:05:04 AM
Not in the choices but I'll pick this month.

Yes, we achieved a new ATH last month and bitcoin is still at over $60k now, there's no sign that a correction is here, so always think bullish and when the market is bullish, it's always possible to achieve a new ATH. The current ATH is only $66k, so with bitcoin trading at $63k today, a pump could probably bring to a new ATH which could reach to $70k.

These are just speculations but with real basis, you know, when the market is bullish, you can always expect a new ATH.
1567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 03, 2021, 04:55:17 AM
The line has moved to -8.5, but I'm settling with -7.5, and also putting a few on the Over 22.5 as well.
The -7.5 is not gonna win, 1 point game now with 8 seconds left, wish that this game would go to OT so there's a chance that the Lakers will cover.

It's really hard to trust the lakers now.
1568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 03, 2021, 03:26:19 AM

Are there any timeline for a Kawhi Leonard return though?

No timetable yet, but it's safe to assume that he won't be available this season as he underwent surgery that would require him to rest and do some rehabilitation to regain his strength. Besides, the Clippers are not rushing things, they cannot risk their main star health and get him reinjured again

1569  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you think October will be for alts? on: November 02, 2021, 04:37:29 PM
I think if an altcoin is promising, then it does not need an altseason, but in general, of course, I am waiting for this, but for some reason only the top 10 CMC show growth dynamics, or these are my subjective observations, I think by the end of this month we will see new ATH for altcoins.
Still, we need to wait for the altcoin season to make a big profit because when the altcoin season comes, many altcoins will increase, not just for the potential altcoin that can increase, but some of the undervalued altcoins can also increase.

That means we will make additional profit from the undervalued coins. So the altcoin season helps us to make more profit so hopefully, in these two months, we can expect that the altcoin season will come again to us.
There may be significant pumps for bitcoin and some potential altcoins at the present but it won't guarantee an alts season at the end of the day. Majority of the altcoins are still undervalued and did not create expected pumps since we always believe that when bitcoin starts to be bullish, altcoins too will probably be bullish too. So i don't expect alts season this year, maybe it will come by early next year. Once we start seeing majority of the altcoins are already in good position, then that will be start for alts season.
1570  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which altcoin would be next gamechanger? on: November 01, 2021, 11:32:28 PM
You don't have to worry about your hold on Cardano, as they just have their smart contract which of course they will soon launch many quality projects under their own network. That way as the center of the Cardano network a big increase and adoption will also very likely have great potential. Some of the developments I've been with for a while, the Cardano project which they are working on as their first project is Revuto but it took a long time to arrive in 2022 which they will be launching soon. For Cardano, I keep 20% of all current portfolio balances.
Cardano is definitely a good choice for altcoin investment because i have witnessed how it made progress in the market and that is why i'm also investing in it together with BNB. They have been in the market for quite long and until now their demand is still going strong. Although they are not exempted from any market dump due to inevitable market crash, but at least i'm confident enough that they are still bound to recover from every dip. As long as their demand never stops from growing, then their value will certainly keeps increasing too.
1571  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Does BTC growing faster?? on: November 01, 2021, 09:30:54 PM
Bitcoin value grow faster just because are more people adopting it on a daily basis and that make the demand curve higher than the supply curve. Bitcoin price will continue to grow because as more people adopting it the higher its market value because Bitcoin supply is limited and that alone is a strong sign that it will continue to grow. Why people believe in Bitcoin as compared to others is because of the people has for Bitcoin.
Yes. Bitcoin is growing faster than any other crypto coins because its demand as an investment and as a currency has always getting higher from time to time. And since its the most popular cryptocurrency for now, its not surprising that most of the investors prioritize bitcoin than any other crypto coin not just of its high value, but more on its demand having a real usage in a man's life. But one thing is certain with bitcoin, it will not always goes up since it has high volatility that any time we can see it pumping or even dumping its value in times when we least expect it.
1572  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia doesn't wants its citizens earning with cryptos on: October 29, 2021, 07:20:39 PM
This is going to be a pretty controversial policy especially for friends who are in Russia today.
because what I know is that Russia is one of the countries where a lot of its citizens are in the crypto path.
and when a statement like this exists and the policy has been set then maybe the case will be like China today
The statement of Putin before brings hope to everyone that he believed crypto has a value so does it mean he is now pessimistic about crypto? I guess this is really like China wherein at one day, they will be accepting crypto, and on the following day, they will impose ban about crypto. Sad to say but those who have been residing in Russia who has been holding lots of crypto from his wallet will find it hard to sell the coins because the country itself does not want to support crypto and all its crypto enthusiasts. Hopefully, the government can decide what's best for their citizens, and not for their own desires.
1573  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Traders always learn to leave when the ovation is loudest on: October 29, 2021, 04:19:03 PM
Oh my God, this is just best explanation for my current situation too. I was so confused until today that whether bitcoin is going to burst the next upward signal or not and made me think whether to sell and book the profits or wait for even more. Considering this is my greed it can end up pretty badly and I think it's really time I should be on the way to sell my coins.

Your expression of comedian with the trader is pretty similar and understandable to me. Makes my mind more clearer tbh. I think its better to understand the proper exit strategy in this market.

On top of this, one should always think of, how much applause we want? Or whether we are capable enough to face the criticism of down turn!
Probably, i would love to suggest to hold your bitcoin even more because it will still end up into another peak. But i guess you're right, if you think you are already in profits already, then start selling your coins. Maybe, just leave a portion of your bitcoin into your wallet and continue holding it because it has still bigger chances that it will be more valuable in the future. Greed can sometimes help you to be more profitable, but sometimes it could also be misleading.
1574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: October 29, 2021, 02:02:23 PM
Let see if these two fighters will bring us the entertainment that we deserve to have Wink
AFAIK, all the fights of Alvarez are entertaining, including his fight against Mayweather where he was totally schooled.
If Caleb Plant will live on his statement that he will beat Canelo, then we can expect another great fight, and we can even expect a KO in this fight.

This is the last fight of Canelo this year (most probably), so he has to finish this year with a good match as when he continues to dominate and entertain the fans, money will come easy for him.

Canelo considers this fight a very important fight to him because he will unite all crowns and both become personal, this is a very important fight for both fighters, I'm sure that are more than 100% prepared for this fight.
This has the making of a great fight I hope it will be as great as the Fury- Wilder fight, there might be a rematch if the match becomes to close.

I don't like to expect a rematch as the status of Canelo now is always untouchable, he is dominating in his division and no fighter so far that even have a close fight against him, all the fight he won was won in a dominant passion, and as the betting odds suggest, we might see the same in this fight.
1575  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NO KYC Sportbooks? on: October 29, 2021, 01:10:42 PM
I guess with the word never it's too hard to tell that some of the platform today does not have a KYC before creating an account and still they have this kind of feature. KYC is an additional layer of security for their users. AFAIK stake.com does not have a mandatory KYC for now.

Select what you think to suit you and also try to check their FAQs and terms of the agreement to prevent having issues with their platform.

Everyone would always choose a gambling site that does not require a KYC, it's the essence of why we are gambling in the crypto space, we want to be anonymous so we can hide our real identity, so submitting to the KYC requirements is just like playing in a fiat sportsbook.
1576  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Issue of fixed Matches on: October 29, 2021, 12:48:32 PM
<...>
One of the most common reason on why people do still fall for this kind of scam or illusion that you do say is that they do tend to believe
that easy bets do exist or some sort of exploit or leakage which do actually exist but scammers or fraudsters do make use it as for them to be able to scam people but if you do just realize on how things works then you could really avoid and just simply stick with your own decisions and jurisdictions on things and not relying with these lies.

yes, scammers are also usually good at persuasion and use mental triggers to make you act without thinking
urgency and scarcity are commons ones
it's interesting because if you study marketing and behavior you learn a lot about social engineering too

This could possibly happen, it's a 50:50 as well, it could be either a lie or a truth, but yes, I definitely agree that you must stick on your jurisdiction about on a certain match because a great research is much better than an information about the match is fixed. This situation is very tricky though, since you'll have second thoughts on what you're gonna do in order to win.

You can do research but it will not guarantee you a win, a fixed match info will guarantee a win as long as the tipster is legit, you are like reading the script of a movie and you will know what's going to happen in the end.
1577  Economy / Speculation / Re: How do you explain the October pump? on: October 29, 2021, 08:26:47 AM
Everyone was blaming September for the dip like it was a dip holiday and just waiting for October for the pump. And as soon as October came - and I mean literally, like the first day of October - prices started to go up and it started to pump. How??

If you look at the history, the September month is usually not so good for the crypto and normally we see a boom in the last quarter of the year.
We have seen bitcoin cross the all the high again in October and reach to 66,000$. Hopefully this trend will continue and we may see bitcoin and overall market cap rise in the last two months of 2021.
We are hitting the last quarter of the year and as histories tell, this is the most profitable days of the year. But of course, we should not be over confident with it because the market may change its trend when we least expect it. Still, we should be cautious of how the market will react.

However, regarding this october pump, i don't think there are definite reasons everytime we the see the prices of coins pumping. Remember that we have two market cycles, the bearish and bullish one. Since september and its previous months are not really good on crypto, then maybe its time for a market cycle to change, and so we start seeing a bullish market. Well, as long as the market brings profits, then that's the most important thing.
1578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin - a joke or a way to make money? on: October 29, 2021, 06:59:17 AM
Everybody knows that Dogecoin was created as a joke, but now it is worth real money. Do you think it is real to earn on it or it's all a big bubble?
everything you say is true. doge can be seen as a joke, a big bubble, or a profitable investment. everything can be done by this coin, so it depends from which angle you look at it. If you're an optimist, you'll see doge as an investment opportunity. but if you are pessimistic, you will only see doge as shitcoin.
Market is not something that takes your "views" seriously. There could be hype that causes it to go up like crazy, but there could also be downs that makes it a little bit more challenging as well, it is all based on market and what it does. So, if you believe that it is a good investment opportunity, that doesn't really make it a good investment opportunity, what you believe it is, could be very different from what it really is.

If what you think about a coin mattered, then you could have made a profit from each buy, and sell right before it starts to crash and be a millionaire in no time no matter what your capital is. This is why people thinking dogecoin as a good investment is hurtful for their future, if they get in so that they could make a quick cash, then it could be beneficial, but at the same time there is a good chance they may stay for long term and lose it all.
Dogecoin will always remain a joke and at the same time a bubble but with its current price surge for now, others have changed their minds and considered it as a useful investment. For them, dogecoin has a bright future ahead and it shows from its growing community. So its not wrong to trust again dogecoin that will very profitable again in the future but i suggest invest in dogecoin carefully because you might not know when the hype is over, all your expected profits will probably turn into tons of losses.
1579  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Going public saying you own Bitcoin is not safe anymore on: October 28, 2021, 10:59:28 PM
I agree with your thinking. Today's world is getting crueler, especially in economic problems that are not good. Money is usually the main problem. Bitcoin is high in value and can make someone rich, therefore you need to be careful in your attitude. Many people are hunting for Bitcoin today, therefore, some of them are willing to do anything, even crime, to have it. Therefore it is better if you do not indulge in indulgence if you are incorporated in cryptocurrency, this is better.
Bitcoin is very precious and has a very high value for now so if anyone knows you are keeping bitcoin, you might be in danger later on. Criminals will never sleep thinking about this and they will surely find ways how to get that bitcoin by hook or by crook. So if you know you are holding bitcoin these days, better make yourself anonymous and never tell someone or publicize that you are storing bitcoin in your wallet. That is if you still want to live more, better keep your mouth shut.
1580  Economy / Economics / Re: Will circular economy work ? on: October 28, 2021, 04:12:29 PM
there are enough people that buy the brand new one as well, it is quite expensive and for some reason all over the world we get to see so many new iphone 13's get sold as soon as it comes out. Which is a proof that if you can't convince people to not buy the brand new one each time it comes out, then you can't make circular economy work neither.
I agree that we cannot convince most people for re-using all day to day things which is specifically true for the case of electronic goods; people love to use the latest versions for social status reasons. If we go this way then I guess we must need to first convince electronic good manufactured for creating more sustainable model which may last for at least 3 to 5 years which again will help people not to go for latest versions on yearly basis (in between manufactures must stop releasing yearly new versions). Overall, when most people agree and work for re-using then only circular economy will be possible.
I really think it's hard for a circular economy to work since most of the people nowadays are more on brand new and more on high technology gadgets that most manufacturers will have a new release every year. It could be very less likely to work particularly for those people who have enough money to buy such new things.

However, for poor people, circular economy does work all the time since poor people don't have any choices either. But honestly, if they will be given money to buy new things, they would not sustain on using old but reusable things. I guess everyone wish to have brand news all the time. And that circular economy will find it hard to work even for those who are less fortunate people.
