Gennady Golovkin is so far the closest and competitive opponent of Canelo in his career. I also like to see the trilogy between them and hopefully, it can be arranged. They need a part 3. But before that Canelo needs to settle first with Caleb Plant to become an undisputed boxer this year.

Won't be an easy fight for Canelo but I'm sure he can handle Caleb Plant. The latter has attractive odds to win but too risky to gamble with it.

With an unbiased jury, Golovkin would have won the matches of 2017 and 2018. There should have been a rematch in 2019, but Alvarez chickened out and refused to face GGG. Now there is no point in getting a trilogy fight in 2022. The fact remains clear - Canelo was afraid of a defeat in 2019 and therefore refused to face Golovkin for the third time. No matter how much glory he achieves at the boxing ring (there is no doubt that Canelo is an all time great), this one thing will remain as a black mark and haunt him forever.

I agree with this although Canelo could claim that there is no more point for a rematch because he has already won. But to someone who is neutral, the fight could have also be given to Golovkin. That's the reason why the judges only came up with a majority decision. The fight was not a convincing win for Canelo. If he was man enough to settle the score especially because their first match was also a split draw, he should have arranged for a rematch. The GGG-Canelo battle was never really settled.  And it's because of Canelo avoiding it.

It will be a trilogy match like Wilder and Fury and it would be so entertaining and only GGG could match Canelo's skills and if GGG will retire soon, at least he has given the request of the fans to see him fight again Canelo, and I'm sure in terms of the purse in this fight, it will not be a problem as the promoter would love to promote a fight that is guaranteed to sell to the fans.

I doubt a trilogy would happen if one of the parties always avoids the potential fight. It will be very entertaining of course. GGG and Canelo are two of the best fighters who could give each other the best of fights. It's just unfortunate that Canelo seems not interested with a rematch when their business is not yet actually over. He may have won according to two judges' score cards in their first rematch but the boxing fans are clamoring for a second rematch because it was never a clear win for him. I'm gonna take that odds, this fight will not gonna go to the distance, Canelo is motivated to knockout Plant because of the disrespectful manners of Plant during the press conference. Actually, I have never seen Canelo this angry during the press conference in his previous fights, and guess what, he still dominate his opponent so most likely this is an exemption, he would dominate and KO his opponent early, 1-3 rounds is my prediction.

I´m a little more daring, I think that Canelo will knock out in the first 2 rounds, I think he will not reach the 3rd, the reason is the same why you think, that his lack of manners makes Canelo angry, and there is something that you cannot mix when you have a skill such as boxing, anger, if you fight with anger many times you do not measure the consequence of the damage that the blows will do, it is for that reason that many times some boxers die inside the ring due to a blow or contusion to the head.

Good defense with a good counter offense: if Plant will manage to deliver this strategy, the chance will increase for him to win. We all witness how good Canelo in terms of throwing converted punches, solid one that can knock his opponent down,

Yes 2.00 odds are good already, I've seen bettors very happy to see their favorite team/players of odds from 1.50-1.68 as well. As far as my experience goes, I've bet on 1.68 odds in the past, ML and it was a "sure" win, (although there will people who will argue that there's no such thing as sure win). And if this fight, 2.00 or double your money and if might be a "sure" win as well for Canelo.

Hopefully that hypes they've made from their press-con will be converted when they already fighting inside the ring. Taking it personally, Alvarez will bring Plant down. Nore interesting if he will KO Plant,, so all that trash talks and rumors that Plant have a good chance to upset him will be removed.

Anything can happen. We as fans and viewers don't have the accurate way to figure out if where the fight may go. We are all pointing our opinions base from how we believe how good the fighter was.
