1581  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS]Crypto Imperator Doge Silver (Superdoge) Only 25 made on: December 24, 2014, 11:57:54 AM
Nice coin indeed.
I am considering sending my super doge's for grading too, so I am also interested in the market value.

First of all, I am a big fan of Mike's work, and this piece is no exclusion, it is beautiful Smiley

But the webpage from Strydeathleticis bad, really bad. Was among the first 50 to order with the coupon yesterday, but bitpay failed and my order was eventually canceled, been in contact with support, they have so far not been able to help (proberly because of Christmas).

Now is the bitpay option removed from the page  Huh

Tried with 3 different credit card - I gets an error each time.

Frustrating Sad

Same with me, it seems I won't be able to take profit from the coupon...

Yeah, the coupon is long gone.
Now, I consider it lucky if you are just able to buy one (somehow) at full price.

1584  Other / Off-topic / Re: the guy who started IKEA on: December 24, 2014, 12:56:37 AM
he lives in a country that flourishes on being a tax haven for billionaires.

Yes

his public image doesn't matter.

Well... There is a lot of politics going on behind the scene about Ikea/Kamprad as a brand.

Nevertheless IKEA is not owned by any person or entity linked to Sweden. Nevertheless when a new Ikea opens in a country then is the local Swedish ambassador often invited to open the center. Should really be the ambassador of Lichtenstein, but I guess he is too busy Cheesy
Also amazed about of the use of Swedish flags outside IKEA shops, when IKEA today has nothing to do with Sweden?
1585  Other / Off-topic / Re: the guy who started IKEA on: December 23, 2014, 11:40:57 PM
from what i hear he is a froogle old man who lives a very modest life style compared to his wealth. he is more about working hard and making it than spending it and flaunting it.

That image would certainly make tax avoidance much less complicated.
1586  Other / Off-topic / Re: the guy who started IKEA on: December 23, 2014, 11:35:16 PM
Funny side note, he checks out his Swedish retirement check every month.
And when he shows in the medias he always drives an rather old Volvo station car.
Much poor Cheesy

Great work, I have been following your bitcoin related art, and this piece is without doubt my personal favorite.

After about 20 years it was really starting to feel a lot like nothing. About 8 or 9 years ago i made my first celebrity sale, that felt great, but today i have art in over 30 celebrity homes including a few multimillion dollar pieces. Summer of this year i went further underground and really just started making the things i wanted to make, i was starting to feel like all the rich hoyts were starting to turn my art into something commercial, like it was a sport. It wasn't until i started doing pieces for the bitcoin community until it really started to feel good again. Here it is a whole untapped realm of sources of inspiration, and a large group of people who can appreciate the art, not just the fact that they can afford to own some of it.

I have respect for that statement.
My knowledge of art i limited, but I do believe that true art comes from the heart Smiley

Are you looking for ~spot price or will you consider coins with numismatic value too?
i can overpay 2 dollars per oz max

I am personally holding on to my bullions (because of the low spot price), but would be willing to let some of my collectibles go.
Good luck with your chase Smiley

If you cannot find anybody here, then is libertysilver a good choice in EU.
1589  Economy / Collectibles / Re: WTS: WTS: Casascius physical bitcoins (bronze, silver 1BTC) on: December 22, 2014, 04:15:52 PM

Sorry guys, but I'm not wanting to use an escrow as I would like a fast sale and fast smooth payment. However, if you want to have more proctection.
-/snip

Sorry to disappoint you, but you are not going to make this sale with up front payment in BTC - it is not going to happen.
If you want to make a fast sale, I recommend you to line up an escrow and ship with express when you find a buyer, so the funds can be released to you faster.
Alternatively you are just going to wait weeks before you realize that nobody here will trust a newbee acount with zero sale history.
1593  Economy / Goods / Re: Selling: 1 months Old* GALAXY S5...For ONLY 1BTC or 100 LTC. incl shipping on: December 17, 2014, 12:11:53 AM
@OP
And as mentioned by others, a picture of your phone with your username written on a piece of paper is required if you want to sell anything here.
It would also help you sale if you clearly state that you have no problem with escrow.

By the way? why does anybody want to steal a picture of your phone, and how can it possible harm you?

Yeah, those capsules from PB are impossible to open without breaking the capsule.

Good luck with the sale!
1595  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: How much btc mined? on: December 16, 2014, 06:39:23 PM
I hope you have those coins in cold storage. Having 50btc in a hot wallet would be very risky.

i think the better way to be safe, it is to print 50 or 100 paperwallet and store it offline!!!
remeber if you put in usb, it could demagnetize or broke!!!
and you lose everything!!!

demagnetize NAND based flash?  Roll Eyes

1597  Economy / Goods / Re: I wanna buy on UK Ebay but dont have an account there. on: December 16, 2014, 09:03:25 AM
Im not from UK, from Romania and someone just gave me an idea so that I can you more for the items you sent me.  If your from Uk and get item shipped to you, you can sell me the item, i mean fake sale it to me and make a fake invoice for a lower price so that I wont hardly have to pay import tax in my country, let me know what you think?

Both U.K. and Romania are located inside E.U.

There are no import taxes when shipping from U.K. to Romania.

Good luck to you and your family.
I perfectly understand your choice - I would have done the same if I was in your situation.
