1581  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum fork for short term profit? on: January 19, 2019, 10:33:57 AM
I don't think this fork will give a huge effect and can give you a short term real profit. However investing in Ethereum is not totally bad, it is a solid project, and after this fork which is an upgrade I think more adoption will come for Ethereum.
1582  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is blockchain job friendly? on: January 19, 2019, 10:30:53 AM
I think any job any task can be improved by blockchain, especially ones that related to data storing, data transfer, or data management. And I believe we have seen many job helped by blockchain. And I don't think any job will be suppressed by blockchain directly, because blockchain is not related directly to automation or something like that.
1583  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Electroneum(ETN) vs. Masari (MSR) vs. Iridium(IRD) on: January 19, 2019, 10:22:15 AM
Electroneum was older is more popular compared to the other two, to be honest I don't even know what is Iridium, never heard about that. Other than that Electroneum in my opinion has better development. But Masari has better market cap, and circulating supply. But I think Electroneum is more promising for investment.
1584  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your favorite crypto and why? on: January 19, 2019, 10:17:50 AM
I really like Ethereum because how it developed and growth, other than Ethereum I also like NANO the coin is very revolutionary, ultra-fast transaction, extremely low fee, and the developer was great. I also interested in new coin called SUQA, they bring a totally new algorithm, they don't do presale, ICO, private sales. or any kind of that, so it is fair for everyone.
1585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Old coins vs new coins on: January 19, 2019, 06:48:20 AM
old coins: coins that went through the bull run
new coins: are ICO tokens from projects during the bear market, mostly not listed on exchanges.

It is obvious that all the aspect of the space had struggled due the giant force of bitcoin. Over the past year the average dump in price of most of the old token/altcoin from the last bull run is close to 90% while the new coin are holding to their price. Most ICOs in the later part of 2018 decided to postpone the listing which their decision could be justified or condemned as the market revives.
With the approaching news of bull run and present the value of altcoins,
1.  can the altcoins ever hit the ATH price even at $20000 bitcoin?
2. Can the new coin from ICO be an alternative even with so much old coin held in some portfolios?
3. will you choose to hold on to old coins or sell to invest into new ICOs?

1. It might be, depending on the project, you need to specify the coin, I can not just blindly speculate, and generalize altcoin.
2. Again it depends on the project, I know that some or even most of the new projects are just shit, but there are still some of them that are quite worth to be investing in.
3. I am still holding some of the old coin, but at the same time, I also looking for new opportunities.
1586  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shill me your favorite crypto right now on: January 19, 2019, 06:45:02 AM
I would prefer to invest most of my money more than 50% to the top coinmarketcap coin. After that I will some new/cheap coin, and I have some coins in my mind. The first one is SUQA it is a cryptocurrency, mineable, totally new algorithm, you can check it on https://suqa.org.
1587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to expect from crypto in 2019? on: January 16, 2019, 01:45:56 PM
I don't know about you but I really expect a bull run or something good about the price of crypto market. My portfolio has been shrinking since last year, and I hope I could gain/get back some of my capital.
1588  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Blockchain projects do we really need? on: January 16, 2019, 01:44:05 PM
I somehow agree to your statement but I might have different ideas related to what Blockchain Project do we need. The things that you stated are mostly related to the cryptocurrency blockchain, or what we call as payment coin. But in my humble opinion blockchain is bigger than just a tool to make cryptocurrency or payment coin. I mean we must be able to use blockchain to solve more fundamentals problem that are real-life problems like Food, Agriculture, Energy, and so on. But instead, we only focused what blockchain can be in the future with AI, Big Data, IOT, decentralized Economic System, Automation, etc, I mean it is not wrong. But we also have an actual problem that we faced today, like Starvation, Climate Change, that we might be able to utilize blockchain to solve it.
1589  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any additional cryptocurrency security tips? on: January 16, 2019, 01:35:16 PM
Be careful to anything or anyone that asked you for your ID or other private documents, you know there are some crypto product/project. And I have heard that there are some internet malware that can go deep into your PC/Desktop wallet and can steal your private key, so if you are using a PC wallet always update your antivirus and security.

1591  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptopia - BOOM another one gone - where are those decentralised exchanges on: January 16, 2019, 03:30:08 AM
I don't think that Cryptopia will close their business, I believe they have a lot of back-up funds. But, however I don't think they can cover all of the bitcoin that lost. I hope they can just come up with a good solution for everyone.
1592  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A bounty telegram channel that do not update is a warning sign on: January 16, 2019, 03:22:10 AM
You absolutely right, when Admin or the Dev is not online for couple days, either in Telegram or in this Forum we can assume that the project is going sideways, or it might just a total scam from the start.
1593  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The End All Coin on: January 15, 2019, 08:51:13 AM
There is no perfect coin, Bitcoin is the king not because it is perfect. Bitcoin has so many flaws and some coin has more features than Bitcoin. Bitcoin is number one because it is the one of the very first cryptocurrency, and the idea of Bitcoin is original at that time, so people interested and they adopted Bitcoin, and this massive adoption is what makes Bitcoin better than other.
1594  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Options for investment in early 2019?! on: January 15, 2019, 08:46:34 AM
To be honest if I still have money to be invested, I will invest as much as I can, because the price are really low, and I believe this year, we will have better market than 2018. I don't know why people like to sell when low and buy when price is high. Isn't that the opposite of investment?
1595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The rise and fall of stablecoins on: January 15, 2019, 08:45:03 AM
I never invested in any stable coin, so I don't really care about the price. But in my opinion, we don't actually need any stable coin. I mean why do we need stable coin? payment? we can use fiat, and there are so payment method that based on Fiat like PayPal, Skrill, etc. Stable Coin for investment? why do we need to take more risk by investing in crypto project that only relies on commodities/fiat, when we can actually invest on those commodities and fiat.
1596  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the Future of Ethereum? on: January 13, 2019, 08:49:18 AM
Haha, the future is so bright, and ethereum is totally profitable for any investor who wants to stay supporting and hold, never listen to anyone spreading FUD about Ethereum, this project great, their team working day and night for this project, and the community support never stop.
1597  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Allert about Stellar Airdrop on: January 13, 2019, 08:45:19 AM

1598  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is there Any altcoins that are distributed fairly? on: January 13, 2019, 07:28:16 AM
Have you heard about SUQA? This coin doesn't have Pre-Sale, ICO, or even private sale. And as the also claim that their new algorithm are resistance to ASIC and FPGA, so that really sounds fair for me. You can check their website at https://suqa.org, or check their ANN in here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5038269.0. Or this youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCyTtTg5ryqHesuJQAeh9VzQ, they have some videos that are really explain completely about SUQA
1599  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Give your best arguments as to why XRP is centralized. on: January 13, 2019, 07:19:57 AM
Becuase most of the contributor in the Ripple network is owned by the Ripple company itself, that's all I need to conclude that Ripple is not decentralized. Then someone maybe claim it happen because ripple is forced to do it since the crypto community already have bad judgement to ripple and they can't gather the contributor from the community. But the actual thing is that the requirement to be network contributor in Ripple is too high, and that is the manipulation used by ripple to make their network stay centralized.
1600  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is the current situation of the crypto market now? on: January 13, 2019, 03:40:56 AM
I think the market is still in correction, and I hope this correction will be the end of bearish, I still have hope that finally this 2019 the crypto market will start a long bull run. Does not have to like the one in 2017 but I hope it will be better than 2018.
