1581  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Major benefit of bitcoin? on: December 10, 2017, 01:45:55 PM
I can answer my question by saying that bitcoin has what others don't and that's being the pioneer in the crypto markets. Which is why everything is priced in bitcoin But really....what does bitcoin do better that any other alt? What's the intrinsic value of bitcoin that I can't get with other alt? Transaction fees? No. Fast network? No. scalability? No. A functional product? No. Full anonymity? No. Descentralización? No. So? The markets are priced in bitcoin, and being that base of value is pretty important, but...is that it?

The major benefit of the bitcoin is its popularity so people will invest on bitcoin then other cryptos which makes the price of bitcoin keeps increasing.
And buying and selling bitcoin is very easy than other cryptos and bitcoin exchange is available in all the countries but altcoin is not available in all countries.Maybe bitcoin is not too fast but the bitcoin transaction will be faster in the future because I heard that lightning network was going to be implemented in 2018.
1582  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin or Ethereum? on: December 10, 2017, 12:19:16 PM
If you are a long term investor then it is better to choose ethereum because ethereum price is very cheap for now when compared to bitcoins so if the price of ethereum bumped little bit then it will give us more profit than the profit from bitcoin bump.
I hope the price of ethereum will bump in the year 2018,so a smart investor will invest on ethereum. But it is not good to invest on single crypto because high risk for losing our investment so we can split our investment and invest on crypto to reduce the risk factor.
1583  Economy / Economics / Re: What coin do you believe will be next to bitcoin? on: December 09, 2017, 04:09:23 PM
As oart of the economy I want to ask

•What do you think is the next big thing? by means bitcoin is getting higher and people should now invest in like what they did before.

•What coin like bitcoin you should invest in? is it  bitcoingold? or the next coin that the developers will create
I think ethereum will be the next coin to the bitcoin, maybe the price of the ethereum is not after the bitcoin price but still it is ranked second in the coin market cap and bitcoin price is very stable when other coins faces the price dump so in near future there is chance for price bump in the ethereum.
I never thought bitcoin gold is a good coin to invest because the price is falling very much and it is struggling to recover from it so it is just a altcoin we can't compare that with bitcoin.
1584  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will it crash in the next few days? on: December 08, 2017, 01:40:37 PM
I've been pulling my hair out trying to 'cash out'. My transaction has been stuck for 12 hours and I've already lost a good deal of cash waiting for it to go through.

If I drops rapidly over the next few days, I'm going to lose my mind.

I don't think price crash will occur until the fork because the demand is getting increases due to the free coin from fork,so you will get good deal bro,the transaction is slower due to increase in number of pending transactions. So next time you can check the details of pending transaction in the blockchain website before sending or trading your bitcoin to avoid these kind of situation bro.
1585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is going on with ALT coins on: December 08, 2017, 06:34:30 AM
Why evey reputted ALT's are going down ..  Embarrassed Embarrassed  i can't figure out any reason

This is happening due to many altcoin holders are selling their coins to buy bitcoins for the free coin released on the fork,so the conditions will become normal soon after the fork ends.I think it is good chance to buy reputed altcoins for cheap price so make use of it.
1586  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Too late for Bitcoin? on: December 08, 2017, 05:25:50 AM
We all know that bitcoin is now rising and rising. And before this year ends it is expected to rise doubled the price right now. Is it too late to invest Bitcoin?

We can't say it is late to invest on bitcoins but it becomes very expensive so many people can't afford to invest on it.Still we can buy fractions of bitcoins but it looks like we are late,so people may start to invest on other crypto currencies like ethereum and litecoin.
1587  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The price is out of control on: December 07, 2017, 04:15:44 PM
I know that everyone gets excited when the price is increasing but you should probably think about this twice, those who don't have bitcoin yet, should probably wait a little bit more before buying, just to see how things will go in the upcoming hours/days and as for those who already have bitcoin, If you're hodler and you actually can afford to lose whatever you have then just continue to hodl otherwise, you may think about selling. In the meantime, I suggest reading the post by theymos on Reddit, very useful.

Yeah it creates a feel that bitcoin price is going to crash but don't know may or may not be cash but it made me feels like crashing will occur in few days but I am just holding bitcoins as a long time investment so I will not worry if the price falls also,I know bitcoin having the potential to recover if the price falls.
1588  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investment Strategy on: December 07, 2017, 02:07:57 PM
Greetings! I am planning to invest $5,000 in cryptocurrency but I do not know how to invest. And where should I invest? - in Bitcoin, in alternate cryptocurrency, or in ICO? I’m asking for an investment strategy for professional traders or investors out there.

If you are looking for an long term investment then bitcoin is the best for you because the price of bitcoin will be huge in some years. The altcoin and ICO investments are mostly for short term you can earn good profit in short term but if you picked the wrong coin then you will lose your investments so better to invest on bitcoins.
1589  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC HOLD or SELL? on: December 07, 2017, 06:25:51 AM
I have 70 BTC now (average price 7500 USD)

HOLD or SELL

I`m very worried about Bitcoin Cash.

As price already crossed 10k$ , so you can understand what may be more chances for the bitcoin price . As the price already crossed this limit , so here we can expect that the price of the bitcoin will not get back to $10k/btc because this is my natural analysis style that never get fails , so here you should not sell your bitcoin .
And also another reason here is that new forks are coming , so if you can have bitcoin in your wallet then surely you will be Able to make money by holding bitcoin in your wallet by equal amount after fork , that will be free money .
So think yourself and make right descion for yourself otherwise you will not make much money than what you will get by selling your btc directly .

By today's rate he already doubled his investments I hope he is still holding that 70 bitcoins.I think this is just the start of bitcoin price journey so it will reach moon soon,so it is better to hold our bitcoins then trade or investing on ICOs.
1590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best place to buy? on: December 06, 2017, 04:23:55 PM
Other than Coinbase...where can I purchase other crytocurrencies? What would you recommend? I have a small amount of Bitcoin and Litecoin now.

Poloniex is one of the best exchange and you can buy all crypto currency here. The transaction fee in the poloniex trading is very very less compared to most of the other exchanges.Bittrex is also a good exchange which is having easy platform so everyone can buy in this exchange. But choose what coin you are going to buy then research that coins are available on that exchange.
1591  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does dollar value affect bitcoin value? on: December 06, 2017, 12:56:30 PM
Im just wondering. Bitcoin is so expensive. What if dollar value get low will it affect bitcoin value?

Dollar value don't affect the price of bitcoin because the bitcoin valus=e is just based on satoshi,if the price of satoshi falls then bitcoin price also fall, but if the satoshi price levels the price of USD then price of one bitcoin will be $100M,but it needs very long to reach that value maybe one century. Grin
1592  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is now $13k, what's next? on: December 06, 2017, 12:04:52 PM
Maybe bitcoin will reach upto $15K by end of this year but there is a hard fork coming but I am not sure it is true,if it comes then there maybe a price drop will occur but it will be just little drop then bitcoin will regain its potential soon as always.
But it looks like just the start of bitcoin era maybe in the year 2018 the bitcoin price may increase hugely and bitcoin is spreading all over the world due to its rapid price increase so it may replace fiat soon in some years.
1593  Economy / Economics / Re: What's the reason behind this mass price rise? on: December 05, 2017, 04:40:56 PM
There are main reason behind the price increase in bitcoin the first is its limited supply which make the huge demand for bitcoin and people are started to understand that bitcoin investment is the best investment ever so they are hurrying to buy their bitcoins which is the reason behind huge increase. And other reason for investing on bitcoin over altcoins is that people can convert their bitcoins into fiat immediately if they want because bitcoins traders are available almost in all the countries.
1594  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing $100 weekly on: December 05, 2017, 03:50:55 PM
Hey guys. I’m able to invest about $100 weekly. Could go $200 on certain weeks but only if it’s soemthing that’s about to sky rocket or something.

I was looking for some help as what is the best approach for someone who can invest this amount weekly. I know it isn’t much but I’d like to hold long term instead of expecting big returns right away

I think it is better to start investing on bitcoins over the altcoins because the altcoin price are highly unstable and more chance of getting lose your investments,so first start investing on basic and pupular coins like bitcoin ethereum and litecoin you can add monero and dash when the days passed but make sure that your investment needed to be longterm for getting good profits.
1595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Already lost 50% of my capital on: December 05, 2017, 03:02:00 PM
Hello guys. I just want to ask for your opinion or an advice.
I started trading since May 2017. I calculated all my loss, I already lost 50% of my capital  Sad. Some coins are still in hold.
I just want to ask what can you give to me an advice or any learnings  about trading. I'm using bittrex.

I was in the same scenario of yours and I am also down quite a lot at the moment in my trades in terms of satoshi valuation. I am in profit in terms of USD though. We actually got into crypto trading at a very bad period everything was at a peak that time and we bought at high. so now as you have not mentioned the coins you invested I would suggest the strategy which I used. I have averaged out my losses by buying more at dips of the coins which I was holding and is confident about. that way you can average out your losses and maybe earn some profit too.

As you aid the lost capital can be earned back if you pick the correct coin for trading,I suggest you to do trade altcoins as well as the bitcoin which cut out the losses if some coin price fall, and mostly invest on bitcoin trading because the price of bitcoin keeps increasing so it will give you profit if we can calculate through USD.

1598  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will it hit 20K $ by end of 2017 on: December 05, 2017, 07:11:02 AM
No,it will not reach $20K by end of this year because the price is swinging inbetwwen $11K and $12K so there maybe a price correction will occur soon so there is chance for price getting fall.I think the bitcoin will reach $13K by end of this year maybe bitcoin will reach $20K by end of 2018.
1599  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoins & On-line Retailing on: December 02, 2017, 02:41:54 PM

In current situation bitcoins can not be used for all online retailing because of the transaction fee so bitcoin community need take steps for reducing the bitcoin transaction fee in the coming years then many people will pay as bitcoin for buying their products.Currently only big trades are happening with bitcoins like buying bulk orders paying with bitcoin.
1600  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin is really great on: December 02, 2017, 12:44:46 PM
