901  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the best app for exchanging BTC to fiat and back nowadays? on: July 30, 2018, 11:02:40 AM
I've no access to Coinbase, so I'm looking for a simple app that will help me to exchange my crypto salary to my card or bank account.

I believe we have so many people there so smb knows the solution and can share it. Thanks!
App can simply convert from one crypto to another,I don;t knaow any apps providing fiat to crypto so you can try LBC,where you can sell your bitcoin for the fiat money and there are lots of payment options are also available with the traders other than bank account.
902  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling addiction mainly due to loneliness and dissatisfaction? on: July 29, 2018, 02:37:01 PM
Yes,loneliness is one of the main reason for any kind of addiction because already they are very lonely in their life so if they get into something they will fully concentrate on that only like drug and drink addict also the same or maybe this will give them relief from their problems as well. But this give only temporary happiness but will leads to serious problems so the people need to learn how to face their problems in their life than avoiding those problem with temporary happiness.
903  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are some of the best movies based on gambling? on: July 29, 2018, 08:28:45 AM
I don't remember the name of that movie, but it was completely based on the gambling. The actor has the super power to predict the future so he knows that what is going to happen so he can be a millionaire soon.Butt he don't do these kind of activities but the people blackmail him to make money for them in gambling by using his super power the climax will be how he get away from those people.Anyone remember the name of that movie?
904  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Skrill // BITCOIN DEPOSIT PENDING - OVER 24HRS on: July 29, 2018, 05:48:57 AM

I don't know what is wrong with this transaction, but yesterday I made a transaction about 0.18BTC bitcoin from my primary wallet to the LBC too sell it and the transaction takes upto 4 hours, normally it would confirmed about 20 minutes. The reason for this from LBC was the bitcoin network is currently slow and it may takes upto 14 days to confirm I see that number of unconfirmed transaction on blockchain network I didn't see any spike in the numbers though. So this might be a reason for yours too?
905  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Unregulated market is illegal or legal? on: July 29, 2018, 03:31:53 AM
Comming from a 3rd world country, many opinions around but not certain. The country gov. doesn't have official statement about crypto. There is a law that you cannot own a bank account abroad and that you can't own stocks outside of the contry. But i think crypto doesn't fit into stocks sector. What are your oppinions?
In my country also the bitcoin is not yet regulated but it doesn't means it is illegal to use.The law that you mentioned that having bank account outside the country is illegal but bitcoin is just against the banks. Cheesy
You no need to worry for now,you can buy and sell and store the bitcoins and other crypto currencies as your wish, before your government take a decision about the crypto currencies.
906  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: INDIA KEEPS BAN IN PLACE,ANY THOUGHTS? on: July 28, 2018, 06:10:37 PM
Government polices varies with the change of government. India has banned for some years, but with in next year near elections government may permit. Indian stake holders are trying their level best to remove ban on bitcoin. Due to crouption they banned.
India never banned crypto currencies yet, just the Reserve Bank of Inida (RBI) warned the banks in India to stop dealing with any kind of crypto currency related transactions. But in India it looks the crypto currency is going to be legalized because some of the organizations take this issue to the court now there will be final verdicet soon.I hope it will be on the side of the crypto investors.
907  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Most secure wallets for Huge earnings... on: July 27, 2018, 08:40:08 PM
If you really have security concern, you should consider using multisignature address/wallet and keep the private key on different secure location. 2-of-2 or 2-of-3 are common option and even if a private key is compromised, your bitcoin is still secure Roll Eyes
If you want to use it, i would recommend Electrum (desktop wallet) and Trezor (hardware wallet)

More info :
http://docs.electrum.org/en/latest/multisig.html
https://doc.satoshilabs.com/trezor-apps/electrum.html

I tried electrum but soon i had to ditch it since they didnt offer an Android App (which kind of a Must for me) but I guess I will give it a second consideration...

I am missing here a lot of the concepts about bitcoin, perhaps you can recommend an article for newbies like me ??  Grin
They do have android application which you can find it on a google playstore and the link is being given already above.Try to visit it and im using the same wallet too rather than into those exchange wallets like coinbase.
Dont store up coins into those service since the fact that we didnt possess the privatekeys and once their service shutdown then theres no way we can get those coins back yet we dont have the key.
Important thing on saving up the seeds or privatekeys and which is the thing i do like with electrum but talking about most secure i cant tell such thing but its much better among others.

I should've mentioned earlier that Electrum wallet on android is very bad/underdeveloped unlike it's desktop version and obviously i won't recommend use Electrum on android. Mycelium or Samourai (but still on alpha version) are better option.
We can import the same desktop address into the android app too,so we no need to have more wallets for now.And also greenbits is another best wallet for android platform so better try these wallets as well.
Here you can find the best bitcoin wallets for different platform : https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet
908  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino Online. Crypto Casino,Bitcoin Casino Crypto Games..whats the difference? on: July 27, 2018, 05:17:35 PM
Lets say if you want to play Dices..what kind of casino do you search for....or lets say you want to try really cool graphical Slots and play with BTC..what do you search for?

Here is how i would/think categorize it

Online Casino
An operator where you can play Poker, Betting, Bingo, Casino with Fiat currency.
(EX Casinoroom )

Crypto Casino

An operator that offer you to deposit in several different Crypto currencies. ex Doge, ETH, BTC some of this also offer you to play with Fiat currency
( EX Bitstarz )

Bitcoin Casino
Online Casino ( Se above) that has become Bitcoin friendly and added Bitcoin as an payment. but they do not offer other currencies like ETH, Doge.
(EX ATHI Games )

Crypto Games
Online Casino that offer Dices, and stricly provavbly fair games. Ex Crypto-Games or bitstake. strictly crypto payment.

Im still not sure, what do you guys think?
People that wants to play Dices with BTC probably do not want to end up at Bitstarz, and people who wants to play cool slots will not appreciate to end up at bitstake.

I want to create some kind of filter on my website to make it easier for my visitors to find what they are looking for.
For me if anyone want to play dice game with bitcoin then bustadice is one of the best option they have,I am not saying this because I am participant on their campaign, even there are lot of good reviews about bustadice all over the forum.THere are no issues whatsoever when it comes to withdrawal or getting the rewards. So I like to play in bustadice than others you mentioned.
909  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does hard work in gambling count? on: July 27, 2018, 03:29:18 PM
Everything about gambling is luck. So hard work may help you to improve your luck a bit, but ultimately it will keep you lucky. I think the description about gambling on Oxford dictionary does meet the point exactly:

"Take risky action in the hope of a desired result."
Hard work don't have business with luck in my opinion and practically too,if you think it can improve the luck then it may consume lot of money as well.So don't go hard in gambling or the consequences will be more danger.
910  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: July 27, 2018, 12:43:04 PM
So is there an issue regarding withdrawing BTC at the moment? My withdraw was created 4 hours ago and is still pending....

Thanks
Normally weekend withdrawal in fortune jack takes upto 48 hours to process even if the amount is minimum so I think you need to wait until Monday morning, hope it will be resolved before that.

But in bustadice all the transactions will be processed instantly if you pay the fee for instant transactions. Grin
911  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you stop calling Bitcoin an investment? on: July 27, 2018, 11:44:01 AM
Can you stop calling Bitcoin an investment?

This damages the cryptocurrency. Bitcoin was not created to become an investment. Before Bitcoin, there were some digital currencies years back, the goal was always to be able to create a (digital) currency free from central banks and governments.
Cypherpunks and other anarcho-capitalists are at the origin of this idea, perhaps 20 or 30 years ago. None were intended to make an investment to be rich quickly.
You won't find in the white paper "investing" mentioned, you won't find any post from Satoshi mentioning it

Considering Bitcoin as an investment, this is the reason why we have more and more regulations, G20 summits and others craps, KYC, etc...
The word "Crypto-assets" didn't exist before, why did they create it? Because you even consider it an investment, then why shouldn't they?
Bitcoin could be a lot more accepted and used by now. Why should a merchant agree to be paid in Bitcoin? He wants money, not a piece of your investment.

You're not even investing, you are just gambling with money.
Go to the altcoins board, you will surely find plenty of ICOs where you can say you invested in. I have something for you, ICOs used to raise money are no different than "Crowdfunding". If you want to invest then there are a lot of Crowdfunding websites where you can invest in real startups with fewer risks, (you won't find any project using photos from Pixabay...)

Why don't we see cryptographers anymore? Guess the reasons
I think whales created the bitcoin as too volatile then it considered as like investment by everyone.I am also considering bitcoin as an investment but maybe little differs from others because I am investing it too long until the bitcoin can be used as a currency when we can use bitcoin into any shops to buy anything we want. And also we will get the benefits from investing early on.I think traders are doing more harm to the bitcoin than the investors, but still no one can controls it.Anyone can use as how they want.
912  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: All crptocurrency at a single exchange. on: July 26, 2018, 09:03:22 PM
Is it safe to keep your all crypto currency at a single exchange (bitfinnix)?Or one should choose multiple exchanges.

A single or a multiple one still not make a difference at all. I hope you are active in the crypto scene because hacking is very usual to happen in exchanges. So if you just place them in exchanges, you put them where there is a huge percentage they could be stolen. Creating an offline wallet or buying a hardware wallet is the answer.
Yes the funds should be in a wallet if it needs to be secured because most of the exchanges were hacked recently.OP needs to understand that exchanges is only for converting our crypto then it should be moved to a wallet where we can control our crypto currencies.Keep your coins in exchange only if you have the intention to trade it nearby.
913  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does this sound realistic? on: July 26, 2018, 06:58:11 PM
Ok! I was actually trying to get reasons why people get addicted to gambling which we all know is more self inflicted. However, I came up with this theory for someone who may actually want to gamble and then would not want to get addicted based on trying to fix their mentality about it and I would like to seek your opinion on what you think about it, if it can actually end up working for any gambler or not.

The theory is;
If you want to gamble, see it more like you are paying the casino or gambling platform to have some fun (just like you do to go watch some movies in cinema), which if you are paying for anything, you are not meant to expect it back. The good thing however is that, you can actually end up being paid more for having that fun if you get lucky, but the chances of seeing that happen is pretty slim. In that light, if you cannot actually live with doing what I said above, then you should not be gambling at all.

Does this sound like a mentality that can help anyone understand what they are in for if they indeed want to gamble or something even those who are tending towards addiction can set their mind to so as not to get into that deep gambling hole that is hard to come out from?
Actually more people knows that winning from gambling is very slim but still they want an easy way to become rich person. If people don't want to get addicted they need to limit themselves and understand that this is just entertainment, they are spending their money to get fun.But still we can't convince the people they do what they want so better save ourselves from any addiction is the best we can do.
914  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you play online casino? if Yes... on: July 26, 2018, 08:52:28 AM
I don't spent too much time on casinos in real life because I don't have time for that in busy life so in that case I will choose online casinos.I don't need extra time for doin that even I can play in my travelling times so convenient is the reason for me to play in online casinos.
915  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should bounty hunters show English proficiency certificate? on: July 26, 2018, 07:41:06 AM
A bounty manager in one telegram group was mad at the bad English of some hunters and made a statement that his next bounties will require English proficiency certificate. What are your views.I think it will enhance posts quality .
English is just a language, not the knowledge so english is not necessary to prove your skills about crypto currencies, but still if you posting in the english section your english should be understandable that will be enough or you just stick with your local board.English certificate is neccessary just ignore his all future campaigns. Shocked
916  Economy / Marketplace / Re: I SOLD ALL MY BITCOINS on: July 26, 2018, 06:15:51 AM
I have been following bitcoins for the past 4 years. i am an Enginner. i remember how bitcoin was introduced to Me. To be honest, i was thruogh ponzi. i used to deposit over 0.1,0.4 to earn 0.7 to 0.9 bitcoins and i made a lot of Money. then, suddenly i decided to go for the killer jackpot and stack all my btc for once. i can remember clearly when a friend was advising me NEVER TO PUT ALL My eggs in one basket. i refused to listen and insist that it is only by strong will can one survived.
Unfortunately I LOST EVERYTHING.  IT was my life saving. Both my earning and my interest.
To cut the story short. i borrow money form the friend that was advising me not to stake everything. i need to pay back. But i will never depart from my lesson learnt from the bitcoin  stuff. i bought another bitcoins last year august and keep it away from anything. i strongly believed that i will still get my money and my friends money.
Thanks to the current Market, I HAVE TO SELL EVERTHING TO PAY MY DEPTHS.

NOW I AM FREEEE.

This is another lesson for the people that why we don't have to invest our borrowed money into the crypto currencies, just invest that extra money which is affordable for you.OP if you have chance to invest again just hold it all the way and surely you can make huge money by holding it in long term.
917  Economy / Speculation / Re: I DON'T CARE IF BTC DECREASES IN PRICE NOW on: July 25, 2018, 04:59:40 PM
I have seen that most people investing now in BTC are afraid of loosing some amount of money when the price declines. I have monitored so many post and I have seen that in their post that's they mean but they wont voice it out because they know people might condemn them. I have sat down and realise that no matter how BTC decreases in price I have nothing to loose and I don't care about it because for the past months I joined this forum  have seen much teachings and education from the crypto enthusiast. I now know BTC can do miracles just in a second or twinkle of an eye Smiley. What do you think guys? Do you agree with me? Your comments and suggestions are welcomed.
If you are a long term investor the you no need to worry about the prices for now, just focus on the future and the prices will get to the level of moon. But most of the people can't be like that because they invested on bitcoin just to make money in short term irrespective of technology.
918  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Telegram overrated? on: July 24, 2018, 04:38:58 PM
Every ICO nowadays needs must display a Telegram channel, that has become the fashion. But, is it really necessary to do so?

I'm asking because I came across a newly launched ICO whose Telegram channel displays the same two posts (about their ICO) repeated daily. They have about a couple of thousand subscribers, but no engagement, barring a few stray hi's and memes.

On a few other ICO channels, I've observed bot behaviour, and admin strikedowns, but no messages regarding the token itself. Finally, even the messages that seemed relevant were all of the type that an FAQ would've clarified.

So, is it time we call the bluff on this particular social media platform?

Are your experiences different from what I've stated above?

Some legit projects will answer all the questions asked by the people on the telegram channel, but now a days the telegram channel is just over loaded with bounty hunters they were joining here for the stakes awarded in the telegram campaign so they don't worry what is happening around they just want their token. But ANN thread is more important to keep updated about that project.
919  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Cryptos finally getting stable? on: July 24, 2018, 01:09:53 PM
Actually crypto currencies were bumping now,the bitcoin crossed $8000 and most of the other crypto currencies were also increasing this maybe because of No fuds about the cryptos for a while now,if this keeps going then there will be another 2017 like growth will happen.
920  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to learn day trading? on: July 24, 2018, 11:56:05 AM
I am tired of HODLing game and want to learn day trading. How to learn day trading and is there any free content available?
Day trading means doing number of trades as much as you can in a day, which is simply buying and selling the crypto currency but making money in the middles is the problem. You can learn about trading in the trading discussion section of our forum and also you can try in the Youtube where lot of free content available for you.But I think holding the crypto currency in long term is much profitable than day trading.
