That bet pays 1.30 odds, that means it should win over 76% of the time, excuse me for not being impressed.

Now, how exactly would we be calculating the ROI for your guarantee. Are you going to say that I should have bet $34 on this obvious game to win $10 and satisfy your guarantee?

Anyone can look at the list of odds and pick all the huge favorites, when one of those goes wrong you lose all the profit from the easy picks.

I would be furious if I paid someone for picks and they gave me a bet with those odds, that's not difficult.
1582  Economy / Gambling / Re: OddsWorthBetting Premium Membership Picks on: August 02, 2015, 12:04:03 AM
If they are not posted quickly after the game starts they are useless. Anyone can come up with a winning record posting the picks after the game happened. Where are these vouch people? Why aren't they speaking up telling us how good you are?

I don't know whether to believe you or not. It seems odd that you wouldn't be worried given all the red flags we are seeing.

I have been a member of SCC since the day I found out about it.
February 5, 2014.
Since then I have followed it on a daily basis.
I know everything that has happened on the site.
I have talked to Marcelo for countless hours about various topics.
He even helped me setup a few mining rigs last year.
The site was never a role model, it's always been ugly, had it's issues and bugs.
But Marcelo has earned my trust numerous times over and over.
Right now my investment in SCC is around $50K.
It's been up to $200K once.
My profit's around $120K.

I thought you withdrew 1000 btc? I have not been paying exact attention to the markets lately, but I don't think the math on that checks out.
1584  Economy / Gambling / Re: OddsWorthBetting Premium Membership Picks on: August 01, 2015, 11:41:42 PM

Why wouldn't you show picks after the game starts? Showing them can help to prove you can win, they serve absolutely no purpose after that.

If you can't prove that you can win betting on sports why should we pay to find out?

It's not just the 10 bucks we are risking, we have to bet your picks, so if you lose we lose our 10 plus whatever we bet. It's on you to prove you are good before anyone should pay you.
1585  Economy / Gambling / Re: OddsWorthBetting Premium Membership Picks on: August 01, 2015, 11:28:47 PM
I'm not paying a cent until you come close to proving that you are good at sports betting, what were your last 10 bets? Post your picks shortly after the matches start just so we can see what type of bets you are making and come up with some sort of proof of your record. At least get your "trusted member" to come in here and vouch for you.
1586  Economy / Gambling / Re: OddsWorthBetting Premium Membership Picks on: August 01, 2015, 07:14:41 PM
I would not be interested unless you could prove you were making money. Post your last 10 bets just so I can see something. I will admit that I'm a little skeptical that someone who is a professional tennis player and good at betting on tennis would need to supplement their income at 10 bucks a pop, but maybe you can prove me wrong.
1587  Economy / Gambling / Re: OddsWorthBetting Premium Membership Picks on: August 01, 2015, 07:01:50 PM
How are you defining return on investment? a 51-4 record sounds like you are betting on heavy favorites, What are those 55 bets, I would like to see the odds on all of those to figure out how much money I would have made betting on those.

What is your incentive to keep being good after I get my "return on investment?" which you still haven't defined. Are you going to tell me exactly how much to bet and when?

I would not be interested until I saw at least a month worth of you posting your picks before matches started and keeping track of how much money you would have made betting them, not just your record or the word of some anonymous "trusted member" who is "having fun" when the point of paying for picks is to make money.
1588  Economy / Gambling / Re: OddsWorthBetting Premium Membership Picks on: August 01, 2015, 06:43:08 PM
What is a vouch copy?

What sports are you good at? What is your long term record?

how are you defining return on investment? If you give me 1 bet that wins $50 is that guarantee off for the rest of my life? What if you win 1 bet then lose the next 50?
1589  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW / Josh Garza discussion Paycoin XPY CPIG BTCLend xpyerr.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: August 01, 2015, 06:03:50 PM

If you think it was "awesome" then I give you the recommendation to read more, get more education, maybe go back to school or college.

Why?

And staking is unnecessary.

Staking is a philosophy.

I would suggest 3rd or 4th grade math class if you can't figure out how "selling" a bunch of coins for $1 or "$4" would generate enough cash to buy them all back (plus all the coins mined via POW) for $20 each.

Not sure about the philosophy of staking, but it seems crazy for me.Watch these magic coins multiply without giving anyone a reason to put cash or btc or anything else of value into the system and hope that it doesn't' collapse on itself, but I'm sure people who understand more about how that works can explain better.
1590  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW / Josh Garza discussion Paycoin XPY CPIG BTCLend xpyerr.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: August 01, 2015, 01:06:34 AM
It is pretty funny to go back and look over some of the GAW propaganda from the early days. I am sad though so far about the way things turned out, especially with Garza. I know there is still time for him to get what he deserves, but its sad that he was able to get away for this long with so much of our money. I don't buy into the claims that he blew all his money and is living poorish now. I wish we could do some form of research to pinpoint a close range of how much he really was able to get away with.

I think it's more depressing than anything...

It then remind me of what else i would have done with the money and that just suck because it's not like you can know then what you know now.

But i learned my lesson young and now i know how to do secure and as safe as possible of an investment.

It would be cool if i can get something out of my Prime and XPY but i'm not holding my breath or mourning over it before bed.

The key to this thread is to figure out how some people DID know then what you know now. We were able to figure out that GAW was full of shit at the beginning, look back now to figure out how we saw that so you can be the one keeping your money when the next scam comes around.
1591  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammed by sénior user The Bad Guy on: July 30, 2015, 11:49:37 AM
Account selling is a big minus, bad for business in this forum.

People say, "use escrow"

But if we are going to use escrow  or similar with every sale we do and trust nobody here, then what is the purpose of those "senior, full, legendary" tags?

I guess none.

They are just stupid titles, like on 99% of forums on the internet. "newbie" is a good warning because it doesn't last very long, but I have no idea why people think other anonymous people on the internet would care about something as stupid as a forum title when it comes to sending irreversible transactions to strangers on the internet.
1592  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW / Josh Garza discussion Paycoin XPY CPIG BTCLend xpyerr.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: July 29, 2015, 11:05:31 PM
Somehow paycoin is now "a real coin" vis a vis a coin created out of thin air. Regardless, a scam on top of the scam makes a beautiful clusterfuck

Haven't been following this lately - is LNC an actual coin? As in install-your-own-wallet or trade-on-an-exchange coin? Or is it just a PNG?

Last time I checked cmilian was extremely vague about how he was going to establish the "floor" for his coin.

Last time I heard, it was going to be released on exchanges.

In anycase paycoin is a coin developed by a thief, highjacked by another group of thiefs.

Lol, it takes like an hour to clone sourcecode and do that stuff and just goes to show that Cmillion has no idea about anything coding wise. Can we put bets that the "dev team" would slip in a extra premine or something else? He would never know anyways and would take the fall.

TBH you could be right just like you could be wrong, time will tell. I have some lendcoin which a was happy to trade my xpy for which I use as collateral if I need a btc loan.
Having said that Cmilian is a very switched on bloke.

Do you "have" lendcoin? Or does a guy that has dumped a zillion paycoins after saying he loved it SAY that you have lendcoins?
1593  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW / Josh Garza discussion Paycoin XPY CPIG BTCLend xpyerr.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: July 29, 2015, 01:44:45 PM
Someones been buying up big again  but its not stopping the slide it dropped to 0.00009 earlier but back to 0.00012 due to some idiot.  I cant believe how much good money people are willing to throw after bad at this point

It's hard to tell how much of that is actually good money. The problem with this coin is the same as it's always been: an unknown number of people have an unknown amount of money that they got from dumping coins that they created out of thin air. they have enough money to fuck with the price at will without wasting any of their actual money.

Anyone actually "investing" with their own money is an idiot because of those giant bundles of free coins waiting to get dumped on their heads.
1594  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW / Josh Garza discussion Paycoin XPY CPIG BTCLend xpyerr.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: July 29, 2015, 12:58:30 PM
I do like the number of missing posts in that thread and the whole thing was thrown into the FUD hole.

Seems censorship is still the answer in paycoin land

It really shows how stupid and/or untrustworthy they all are.

"FUD" is the cause of all problems in cryptoworld, not the horseshit that causes people to post the true facts that make up the fear, uncertainty, and doubt. Talking about a mod pulling a shady business deal is obviously a bigger problem than the shady action in the first place. Saying that the $20 floor isn't going to work is a bigger problem than lying about the floor existing, etc etc.

I've said it numerous time over the past months, but anyone still involved is going to get exactly what they deserve. Everyone has had ample time to figure out that the price is going to 0, dump before the assholes that are taking all of the coins can.
1595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: July 29, 2015, 04:23:15 AM
Smiley Wink Cheesy
Lets just say I have a shit load of GHs in hardware - between 500 & 850 but I want to mine the most profitable scrypt coins with minimal public exposure and network infrastructure i.e. setting up my own pools for all those possible shit coins and not so shit coins.
So I just get all the known & worth while multi coin pools lined up, setup my mines and my own system to monitor the markets, pools etc.

Then just continue to mine the crap out of any profitable scrypt based coin, switch when I need to switch or just switch some of my
GHs to another pool or coin etc.

Then this guy comes along (respect for your interest & forum activities), scans the known public record pools hash rate stats, do some maths & point out WTF, how can I claim to own 500 to 850 GHs because only a piss % of UNKNOWN mining pools exist in this data set for a specific coin!

So what if the REAL strategy is own a shit load of GHs & mine on ANY good pool at ANY time that's most profitable for the miners and split
the GHs at ANY time to create a spread ... if I had the hardware then I'll plug it that way & not deal with the EXTRA admin
of setting up dedicated pools for shit, pump/dump & yes well cool coins etc.

Just some imaginary thought that popped in my head a while back when I read these math based assumptions that lead to some conclusive "evidence".

I don't think SCC ever had their own "named" pool & by the sounds of Admin never will...

Why pay pool fees and share the rewards with the other people on the pool when you have enough hashpower to mine every coin for as long as you want to?
1596  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW / Josh Garza discussion Paycoin XPY CPIG BTCLend xpyerr.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: July 28, 2015, 11:56:41 PM

Yeah after a quick search of the name "boxshock" this little nugget of information came up.  https://paycointalk.org/topic/266/paycoin-life-behind-the-scenes

Check it out, some poor guy (obviously unaware of the Garza scam empire) was employed by these crooks, used for his info, then pushed out. Then the guy brings it up on the same forum that this involves, AND HE IS SHAMED. Same thing that happened in the past, poor guy exposing a scam gets shut up. Seems to me the only thing different from old hashtalk is they aren't banning the guy. To top it off the lead Admin there "yoshi" is defending the scammers!! They have the entire community fooled that there is a new leadership. But seems like the same scam sandwich to me.

This is a sad world we live in. Everyone of the leaders over there are guilty, crap, they might be in on it too.

Same shit as always.

It's a bunch of wannabe investors/business guys thinking that using magic beans will let them jump into the business world with a lower barrier to entry. There's a reason the paperwork is done FIRST in the real world, so we don't end up in situations like this, where some guy does a bunch of work and gets left with nothing.

The positive for mr gavi here is that it will probably turn out that nothing of value was lost since this project somehow involves paycoin or members of the "community." It's all people ripping each other off over there. Yes, your time is worth money, but how much time did he really put in and at least he didn't lose any actual cash/coins.
1597  Economy / Gambling / Re: https://twitter.com/SatoshiOdds Bet with a tweet, fixed odds on fixed stakes on: July 28, 2015, 12:28:00 PM
That's what bookies do when they get into trouble, but you are going to be in that situation more than a normal bookie if you make up shitty odds like that last bet. You need to set "good" lines because if you don't you will be hit by people doing arbitrage and will end up wasting all of your potential profits by paying juice to other bookies who have good lines.

How would you have balanced your book if big money came in on no yesterday? As we got closer to midnight it became obvious that the bet was going to resolve one way, so you needed to do something to entice people to bet on "yes" by increasing the odds, or dissuade people from betting on no by reducing the odds. Putting up odds and letting them sit for long periods of time is a guaranteed way to lose money. There's a reason odds on cloudbet change after every bet and that bitbet has that payout system.

Offering slightly lower odds for the convenience of betting on twitter and not having to deal with any of the other sites is an idea that may work. But you need to set good lines otherwise people will be killing you by making plus ev bets and taking all of your coins.
1598  Economy / Gambling / Re: *FREE* Major League Baseball Picks [0-0] [+0.00 units] on: July 28, 2015, 01:39:40 AM
If you are going to accurately keep records you should post how much you are betting before the pick. Units are fine if you don't want to disclose the exact amount.

It's nice to see someone who has a clue try the pick thing here because the last few I've seen have shown the thread started to be clueless in the op.
1599  Economy / Gambling / Re: *FREE* Major League Baseball Picks [0-0] [+0.00 units] on: July 28, 2015, 01:26:02 AM
how much are you betting? Are the bets valid if the pitchers change before the game starts?
1600  Economy / Gambling / Re: https://twitter.com/SatoshiOdds Bet with a tweet, fixed odds on fixed stakes on: July 27, 2015, 11:32:02 PM
I'm not trying to pick on you, but what is your plan if 20 people (or 1 person with 20 twitter accounts) all bet on no right now?

There is not enough money in the account to pay them off, and continuing to take bets on "no" right now is not the sign of a good bookie. Some people wouldn't care about how good you are at being a bookie, but I know that you need to be a good bookie to make money, and you need to make money to pay out other people.

I'm all for trying to make a go at things, but this plan has major problems, let's fix them or stop this before someone gets burnt.
