161  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin believers/investors are foolish or low IQ people ? on: June 08, 2019, 01:55:55 PM
How could you address them as a low IQ people if they are making more income compare to a regular wage earner? I am not saying that those people who are regular wage earner are low IQ or what ,But don't you think that they know more that is why they are here and they know the potential of crypto that is why they invested on it? Foolish ? LOW IQ? I don't think so people have been earning more in crypto and it have help so many people to change their life.

An American paid $179,000,000 for a naked painting. Hard earned money goes to useless people because of gambling/ponzi/casino and serious mental illness at high levels.
Well dont think you should be here mate, we are investors so we dream high and i dont think its wrong at all, if you talk about painting its completly money laundry, you should read about money laundry, they do use painting and music to do it cause its more easier.
162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is all this "Satoshi" drama? on: June 08, 2019, 12:38:33 PM
I know how we've been through the roller-coaster type journey of a decade with Bitcoins and the skepticism we've all had in our minds about the identity of Satoshi, and then everything started off like this:

May 2016: Craig Wright claims he is Bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto

He failed to prove that he is Satoshi during then, still just tried his best to poke the community every now and then to make them believe he is the creator of Bitcoin.

Nov 2018: Another 'Satoshi Message' Attempts to Sway Public Opinion, But Fails

And then, this:
A "dicksucker" claimed he knows Satoshi and he'll leak him to the community.

April 2019: John McAfee Says He Knows True Satoshi Identity, Promises to Reveal It Soon

And then, the April Fool:

While all of this happening, a website was formed during this timeline which claimed to do the same - reveal Satoshi.

May 2019: Satoshi Website Triggers Countdown to ‘Live Unveiling’ of Bitcoin Creator

Fucked up already? Don't be, there's more.

May 2019: Craig Wright Attempts to Copyright the Satoshi White Paper and Bitcoin Code

I don't really get it what's in the benefit of Satoshi if he is found? Or what is actually good for the commission if he's revealed? I don't really believe Craig Wright to be Satoshi, you know why?

For all the Satoshi(s) in the limelight, I've got one question here, if you've not got they keys with you to prove yourself as Satoshi -

One of my favorite comments:
"If he really is, he can go onto bitcointalk.org and make a post under Satoshi’s account saying who he is. Otherwise he’s a lier. Or what? Did he forget his password?! Lier lier. And a twat."
Source of this comment: https://amp.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/brc0n8/craig_wright_is_not_satoshi_nakamoto_the/
I dont know what this man wanted to do, I believe he wanted the fame as the creator of the bitcoin, in my opinion the creator of bitcoin would'nt show himself to public and he will keep himself hiding, cause i believe bitcoin are made to make an anonymous transactions and i do believe it bring no good to reveal his own identity to public.
163  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as a leading currency? on: June 07, 2019, 03:06:38 PM
The economic reach of Bitcoin is an interesting subject of discussion. In the end there will be a maximum of 21.000.000 BTC. BTC is a eight-digit number.
I suppose that a currency can only be leading if it has the possibility ta pay in small amounts, equivalent tot e.g. dollarcent or eurocent. This statement limits the range of BTC, will the satoshi be the future euro/dollarcent?
In that case the maximum money supply wil be BTC 21.000.000,00000000 is e.g. EUR 99.999.999.999.999,99 (by the way: interesting exchange rate).
The money supply in the Eurozone (M3) is over EUR 10.000.000.000.000
So without any constraints, the structure of the BTC satisfies the necessary condition.
Let's inventory the other constraints.

Well im sure it would be really bad, BTC is already become a leading cryptocurrency and its make the market so volatile cause almost all coins are following the bitcoin price. I do think its not health for crypto company cause they could be drag down by the bear market. I do believe we still need a stable coins as a leading currency instead of bitcoin.
164  Economy / Economics / Re: The Blockchain technologies on: June 07, 2019, 01:51:48 PM

The Blockchain invention already has resulted in so many technology trends including hybrid blockchains, ricardian contracts, stable coins, security tokens and so on. What other inventions regarding blockchain do you think we might see in he next couple of years? What other industries could this system improve?
There so many things, for example the food tracking and the most important is the tokenization. I believe we are in edge of adoption of this technology especially in real estate sector which i think blockchain is very good. I believe all of documents of identity will also be in the blockchain so there will be no one could hack it and also it will be safe and use as it suppose to be.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounties is not a reliable source of income on: June 07, 2019, 01:25:32 PM
Back in 2017 I never knew there is anything called bounties or bitcointalk forum until 2018 when I came across a PDF that says it all about how to earn coins promoting projects so since then I decide to give a try ,since 2018 now I've been promoting some projects and I've gotten paid via the project tokens but in reality I haven't been able to earn a dime ,they keep postponing when they will get listed on exchanges ,the PDF never talked about how long this always takes ,just imagine if bounty is all I got I would have starved a lot ,bounties long things and it can easily make one give up promoting them ,its always one delay after the other
Well back in 2017 i was full time in bounty and i do earn a lot of money through it, but yes right now , its not worthed anymore to full time on bounty but who knows, i do believe in 2018 there is a bear market that makes all ICO hard to earn money and the market seems to push the price down. I still have a faith in bounty but i do not recommend to do it full time, just do bounty as your side job not the primery one.
166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still bother to engage non Bitcoiners? on: June 07, 2019, 11:41:10 AM
Its a complete waste of time to try to change people's mind that crypto has better future ahead ,I will let bitcoin do the talking I remember the same thing happened last bullrun ,many newbies are running into crypto space
Yes i do agree with you, its really exhausting to explain something that people dont wanted to understand, I do think they just not intrested in cryptocurrency an they only knew that bitcoin as a digital currency and they do think its bad investments, so i do think its not good idea to try to changes something that cannot be change. Just teach people who wanted to undestand not someone who only want the money.
167  Economy / Economics / Re: Have you figured out what you are Investing in? on: June 06, 2019, 04:36:18 PM
The hyped in 2017 cause bitcoin and others cryptocurrencies to surged toward the end of the year and complete crashed back to the bottom in December 2018. Did people really know what they are investing in?  Is a question that keeps ringing in my mind and actually the answer to that question is that people follow the hype and forgot to  checked for reality before investing and this come from the testimony of those that has claim of making big profits or gain from the past surge that came into the cryptocurrencies market.
I think the red flag there is that people think of what they are going to get from their investments into cryptocurrencies more than the capital they have invested and as results when the reality done on them,  they began to sell out of panic and in turn the market clash like it happens through 2018.
Now that we have another opportunity to invest because of the down turned,  I do believe that it is good you look at the reality behind any coin you want to invest in and not the FUD,  manipulations,  FOMO and hype behind those coins.
Yes i do realize that the market conditions on 2019 are not the same like in 2017, i do also think market are more mature right now and i do invest in the coin that i trust ( not like in 2017 just following the pump and fomo ). I do think the best project in 2019 are the project that are related to blockchain technology.  So i do invest in coin that are working on blockchain development so i do believe in what i invest in and i do know what they are doing.
168  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency, KYC and Terrorism on: June 06, 2019, 03:43:02 PM
Some have speculated that terrorists have discovered a way to use the platform crypto currency to gather identities from different people from all over the world. use their identities for terrorist activities. From threads that i have seen, there are people thinking that some ICOs are used to fund terrorist acts by luring investors into investing into their companies, getting KYC in exchange of money, gather a large sum of it and then run away with big bags of bucks.
IMO, these scenarios have big possibilities since there is the anonymity factor feature of crypto currency, we really do not have the knowledge as to whom and where the money will go for when it was transacted in cyberspace.

what are your thoughts on this?
Yes i do think so, this conspiracy that might turn out to be true and i do think there is a lot of ICO that not real and dont have real product and might be terorist fundrising ICO. I do think its bad idea to give KYC to someone who we dont know especially to crypto world but in other hand i do believe KYC is needed to prevent terorist fundrising.
169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain for voting on: June 06, 2019, 03:18:34 PM
Does any country use blockchain for election or voting? I know there are many countries who afraid of implementing blockchain into its sytem because then everything will be clear. If voting systems are created on the basis of blockchain technologies, then it is possible and possible to obtain reliable voting results without falsification. All the same, the blockchain is precisely created so that it cannot be changed from the outside, and in order to ensure complete security and confidentiality of data. It would be interesting to participate in the elections via the online voting platform.
It would be good and i do think this system is really needed in every voting system. It would be easier to calculate and it would be harder to manipulate so i do think its more transparant and more faster. I do think this is really good for my country indonesia, which is the election become major problem here cause some people think the election has been cheated and they not trust the results.
170  Economy / Economics / Re: Does engaging with bitcoins put you at risk? on: June 06, 2019, 08:39:31 AM
We, as physically and intellectually healthy individuals, strive and survive to achieve our dreams, establish our roles in the society and fulfill our needs and wants. But in order to do this, we are also required to be financially healthy. The lingering fact is that money is not achievable as a single candy you can buy in the store. Sometimes, people risk their lives and reputation just to get a handful. Bitcoins are not officially a currency that you can just see in a certain country, that are being utilized and used. So, is dealing with bitcoins and other things related to it also puts us in a risky gamble?
Well i do think bitcoin is an asset that are mean for investments , so yes i do put some risk to hold bitcoin while its still not legal in my country and there is also no protection in investing in cryptocurrency.
171  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold exist 1000+ years. while bitcoins exist 10 years. on: June 05, 2019, 06:15:23 PM
Gold exist for over a 1000+ years maybe? Bitcoin only 10 years. Also the internet existed about 25+ years. Bitcoin price is higher than gold by over 200%. I think the value of Bitcoin is going to sky rocket once again. When technology gets more advance n the Bitcoin system upgrades. Just another speculation.
well i believe bitcoin are an breakthrough technology and it cannot be compared with gold which is something that used to be a tools of payments. I do think both are completly different and we cant just jump into conclusion that the price will rise only mere of how long its been exist.
172  Other / Off-topic / Re: 8000 Bitcoins seller on: June 05, 2019, 04:21:38 PM
Not everyone thinks that bitcoin contains elements of crime. All according to use. For me, bitcoin has changed my life a lot. I can buy a lot of things. I am sure that next year Bitcoin can reach more than $ 20,000
Yes totaly agree with you, many people think bitcoin are illegal currency which are used by hacker and terorist to fund money for doing the crime. But in my opinion bitcoin is something more than currency, bitcoin is the leading technology that we have right now that makes 5G real and also blockchain. Most people only see bitcoin as currency cause bitcoin have a good growth in price but they forgot the technology behind it.
173  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks against the crypto on: June 05, 2019, 04:02:56 PM
Decentralization. Everyone is talking about it. Can cryptocurrency lead to the disappearance of banks. Or will banks be able to adjust and remain in power?
I believe bank are started to think to manage crypto custody, i believe they started to realize the use of cryptocurrency in the economy. I do think they will adjust and bank would not going to die.
174  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to explain blockchain/Bitcoin to millennials on: June 05, 2019, 12:27:16 PM
Hi, I'm not new to bitcoin & blockchain and I'm a full time trader with quite a little knowledge on tech background. I do trade cryptocurrency coins and studied a lot on blockchain technology. But I have a question, I always stumbled across this in my mind when people ask me why blockchain is the future, why should you care and buy?  Anybody can give me some tips and answer for this?

Would appreciate it.
Well just explain them what internet of things is and how blockchain are on it. You can teach them about a project of the coin that working on blockchain sector. Blockchain is a future cause many thing could be explained and blockchain is building trust and also the smart contract that would make anything easier without need a third party. And for your last questions, why should you buy and invest in blockchain? i would aswer it pretty straight, blockchain will be the future and still not be used and still in development so i do think its the best to invest on it on early stages cause it might bring a lot of profit for you.
175  Economy / Economics / Re: How to prevent fraud? on: June 05, 2019, 12:10:49 PM
for now, be careful and careful to choose the ICO project to be used as an investment place, because most ICOs are now deceptive. so don't ever choose a strange project
Well right now there is a way to join money funding in safer way such as IEO and STO which is more legal and more trusted. So i do think ICO is a bad choices for investments right now, cause its full of fraud and scam.
176  Economy / Economics / Re: What currency shall human use when colonizing Mars on: June 04, 2019, 05:44:23 PM
The first black hole picture reminds me Elon Musk's quote

Quote
Mars should really have great bars.

It made me wonder what currency shall we use in that bar on Mars. Will it be fiat or cryptocurrency? Will there be a heated fight whether the bar tender shall accept USD or RMB? Is there an ATM for converting AUD to BTC?

Full article is https://support.jinance.com.au/hc/en-us/articles/360000906595-What-currency-shall-human-use-when-colonizing-Mars
well cryptocurrency will be really good to start economy in mars, and i do think stable coins would be a good choices and it will be goes really well in mars.
177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I hate Banks and love Bitcoin :-> on: June 04, 2019, 05:15:52 PM
I pay for my monthly satellite TV subscription with a bank transfer and for some obscure reason I forgot to pay it this month. I was still watching the World cup Cricket tournament, when a message popped up, saying that my account was in the arrears and they blocked my viewing.

I immediately logged into my internet Banking and checked my payment history and realized that I skipped that payment for some reason, so I made the payment and thought I would wait for a hour or two and then resume viewing. Noooot!

8 HOURS passed, I phoned the company and they informed me that the payment is not reflected on their system yet, so I waited another 4 hours and phoned them again. <still Nothing>

A whole 21 hours later the payment went through and I could continue viewing, but the match I wanted to see was finished.  Angry

If I paid with Bitcoin, this same payment would have taken less than 20 minutes at most, but unfortunately this Satelite provider does not accept Bitcoin payment for this service.  Angry
Welll i love bitcoin cause i could buy anything i want from anywhere part of the world. I do also think bitcoin made a new job like bounty hunter and become my second job which is something that i love to do. I do think soon we could use bitcoin as a payments anywhere.
178  Economy / Economics / Re: Why most bitcoin users from good economies countries? on: June 04, 2019, 03:12:50 PM
We can not deny the big country with good economy, it will make the society economy better too.
So they can follow the economic development and participate in transactions and investments in Bitcoin era.
How the people of small countries can participate in participation and benefit from it?
It would be very difficult to calculate the statistics of users of each country, but the comparison of Bitcoin ATM growth from this early 2017 report can be the initial reference of the statistics.
Perhaps by the end of this year, there will be more Bitcoin ATM growth across the board due to the growing interest in bitcoin this year.

I believe its because developed country are more open to something new. They do open and also have a money and also brave enough to embrace something new. I do also think developing country are in contrary which is not so opened to new technology and i do think they are short of knowledge about this new technology, so developing country are used to just following the success of developed country.
179  Economy / Economics / Re: Which form of investment has highest ROI? on: June 04, 2019, 12:47:13 PM
We knows that the crypto currency investment can give us lot of profits even in short time but this is very new there are lot of invesments like real estate, gold, mutual funds silent partner in businesses and lot more but what you think which has highest ROI in short term other than crypto invesments.

My opinion is that real estate can be that one, since my grandfather used to be like buying and selling the lands and made tons of money in his life time but I didn't do that such kind of traditional invetment.
I think stock investments are better than real estate investments, but i do think there will be more risk on stock investments. Real estate investments is a good choices for you who have a lot of money and i think its kinda safe investments and good for long term. But still some people think real estate investments is kinda bad idea cause there is an uncertainity taxes and its not good for people who are trying to hide and avoiding taxes.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can BNB beat Ethereum? on: June 04, 2019, 12:00:11 PM
Awesome article that talks about both ETH's and BNB's key features as long-term projects. https://cryptotradernews.com/cryptocurrency/eth-vs-bnb/

IMO, ETH's glory days are over and we're already seeing how ETH isn't growing at the fast pace that it used too...

On the other hand, BNB is a much more stable project. There's a lot of IEO happening right now in there and Binance overall is a VERY PROFITABLE business.

Thoughts?
Yes its true seems like BNB become much popular cause IEO are a best way to fund money right now and ICO seems to be left behind. But i do think ethereum will also shine too cause we are entering the era of blockchain technology which is a good things and will bring so many customer to ethereum. I believe both coin are great and BNB has a big potential to grow but i do not think BNB will have a marketcap larger than ethereum, cause ethereum will also grow.
