Største forandringen jeg ser er denne;

Code:
int64 static GetBlockValue(int nHeight, int64 nFees)
{
    int64 nSubsidy = 8000 * COIN;
                if(nHeight < 1440)
    {
        nSubsidy = 72000 * COIN;
    }
        else if(nHeight < 5760)
    {
        nSubsidy = 16000 * COIN;
    }
    // Subsidy is cut in half every 1051200 blocks, which will occur approximately every 2 years
    nSubsidy >>= (nHeight / 1051200);
    return nSubsidy + nFees;
}
static const int64 nTargetTimespan = 0.10 * 24 * 60 * 60; // 2.4 hours
static const int64 nTargetSpacing = 60; // 60 seconds

Wow.

Hi all!

Been a little afk from internet the past week, but back now!

Many has wondered and asked about whats Anoncoin going to do when v2 of zerocoin is released, if it's gonna affect it's development, etc etc etc. And it's not time effective to answer one at a time Smiley

I will write a blog entry about it, where I will answer where,what,when,why and hopefully the rest of w's :p

We're about to release a new site as well. I'll get back to you in short time! Also, I think Matthew is going to give a talk on Monday at New York City College, so I think I post the blog entry after that, in case he says anything that could become a question.

Any closer to the blog entry? Really keen to see what's going on regarding ANC and Zerocoin. Waiting for this announcement before making the next move  Smiley

bold Smiley (first off, I need to get a copy of what he said, next I need to think trough it, after that discuss it with the rest of the team, then get time to write the blog)

I'm a little bit confused of Matthew Green's speech right now, as he doesn't mention Anoncoin anywhere as far as I can see... but it was mentioned a few times already that Zerocoin will be implemented into Anoncoin:

how far is your zerocoin implementation?

Was just coming here to ask the same thing. Any updates?

It's still in an early stage. The first part will be implementing the early alpha of Zerocoin into the Anoncoin testnet, then comes the testing to discover bugs within Zerocoin itself that the Zerocoin devs will be working on. I would not expect a fully working zerocoin implementation until the end of the year at best. If it works flawlessly the first time around (personally I believe there's a ~1% chance of that happening) it would probably be complete during november.

So I'm really looking forward to a clarification of the implementation of Zerocoin into Anoncoin. Smiley

In simple and quick words: Matthew is a odd guy saying "please send an mail", and when we do it there is no fucking reply. We have decided to do it on our own, we don't need him. Final. There has been no contact between us other than the public posts on twitter, he obviously can't handle email systems since he has not replied me, Gnosis or any other person trying to contact him. The zerocoin mailinglist is also dead, seen people ask questions, never any replies from the zerocoin guys.

There is also no "flaws" with the old zerocoin implementation, just some temporary disk increments that can be solved. From the little I read on reddit it seems like Matthew and the rest of the group of can't-handle-email-systems guys haven't been able to even get the whitepapers finished. Those was dued to early December IIRC from Matthew's tweet 16. Nov?. - Blog entry will be written when I've gone more into details about his speak, haven't had time to hear it yet.

At last, sneakpeak; we're in discussion on "upgrading" zerocoin with multiple modulus, different denominations (10 ANC, 1 ANC, 0.1 ANC, etc.) and more. This will then slowly move away from the original zerocoin design.

Ingen krise det her.

+1 Quarkcoin. The security features alone should be worth adding it.

Lol.  I'll come back to this after the inevitable 51% attack happens.

It won't be long now.

Indeed. Locking a coin to CPU is not a good idea.. *thinking of serverhalls* *lots of CPU, less GPU*

I finally understood that , Its really not easy to get a php based blockchain exprloer up and running..

Here is what i have achieved till now : http://95.85.62.252/index.php/block/fce58f21e2e55d48cfb53e25f55023772bbc960f7cf26930b51a0ae551a0f445

Currently it gets data from mysql database. I think we can get abe to update data in background and use php to display frontend.
But there is a lot of data thats missing.. Like difficulty..

Can you please help me with formula for difficulty calculation of anoncoin?
I would also like to know whats the scrypt parameters for Anoncoin. for example ,  for Litecoin , its N = 1024, r = 1 , p = 1 and salt is same as input.

Looking forward to answers.

Awsome! It's the same, we use N = 1024, r = 1 , p = 1 as well Smiley

Still not showing up.

I would recommend not using cryptsy for ANC deposits for the time being, they are working on the backend right now, no idea if this issue is related to it or not.

Has anyone else had a deposit show up on cryptsy within the last few hours?

cryptsy is unstable and is not recommended to use for the moment :/

It has been brought to our attention that the pool anc.usr.io is under new management, and they are _not_ paying out requested withdrawals for an extended period. Find yourself another pool or you risk losing coins.
thats why ppl should use p2pool. technology cant be flawed by some administrator/stupid-human-being Smiley

Somehow I just knew that post would come Tongue

60ce4639bf63532b27e8f8b036b9846f5d2ae18556289f80e38b85a5df4910e1 - Scrypt
7680b70b9da195fcaf8c9def3733e9f03807c73e4037a5be8a7deb62e5492045 - SHA256

Se på det slik;

172  Local / Skandinavisk / Re: Altcoins? on: January 08, 2014, 01:43:35 PM

For eksempel Quarkcoin.. what the fuck.. Secure transactions?

Python:
Code:
import hashlib
i=0
ikke_vunnet=True
noice = "fff000"
win="0000"
while (ikke_vunnet):
  hash = hashlib.sha256("lastblock_partly_hash+transactions(N,N,N)" + noice + str(i)).hexdigest()
  if hash.startswith(win):
    ikke_vunnet = False
  i = i+1
  print hash
print "Hash/block is found: "+hash

Hjælp. on: January 08, 2014, 01:21:18 PM
Tak.

Desverre litt skadelig for cryptocurrency miljøet i mine øyner.

I did. Still shows the same.

I'm gonna check the config at my server after dayjob, please PM me if I forget it. And ofc reward you for designing Smiley

Trying to send some Anoncoins and I have been waiting for one confirmation for over an hour. Doing some reading on the anoncoin.net forums and it looks like there may be a problem with the new client? How do I get some confirmations to get my coins out of limbo here?

How many connections do you have? - and please continue this in chat thread.

180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Official Anoncoin chat thread (including history) on: December 27, 2013, 06:54:55 PM
I just read this entire thread.   Is the only fundamental difference from BTC/LTC that ANC can use I2P?   Is I2P and coin mixing going to be implemented in such a way that it is easier to be anonymous than with other coins?   If an exchange is not using I2P does the client need to be in clearnet mode in order to transfer coins in and out?   Any clarification on what makes this coin more anonymous would be helpful in deciding if I should make it an alt coin investment.

I doubt Bitcoin will implement I2P support, it's getting to known now, which means they move away from "darknet" and such, and into the wallets of regular people and not just special interested. The developers have other, bigger issues to solve. We however, focus on anonymity, and will continue working on that case as main focus. I2P is only the beginning.
