161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is 1ETH=$10,000 worth the possibility? on: April 06, 2018, 08:00:44 PM
You need to ask realistic questions to get realistic answer. If you would ask about the price hitting 2000-3000 usd then you can get proper answer. Predicting 10 000 is unrealistic. There are many things which will probably not allow ether to go so high. For example, the amount of other coins coming to the market every day, or that after few years some other coin can take place of ether when it comes to ICOs
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin Cash will take place of Bitcoin? on: April 06, 2018, 07:45:08 PM
There was a time when I was almost convinced that this is very possible. I thought that bitcoin should step down at some point as obsolete. The team behind Bcash looked solid and active. But by now I think its pretty much clear that it won’t happen. Apparently bitcoin will still hold its position for quite long and this has nothing to do with its technological properties. It has to do with psychology. BTC is taken as reference in the cryptoworld and this can’t be changed by any other altcoin at this point
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pre Sale vs Public Sale on: April 04, 2018, 08:04:18 PM
If bonuses are higher on pre sale, why do so many people wait for public sale?   I seen thrive get a huge jump on public sale?  I don't understand?

To add to earlier replies many investors are not really ready to spend hours in internet looking for info on the projects. They just follow hype and crypto bloggers. Usually during pre-sale the projects are not so known, no shilling, no ratings. Another reason is that sometimes its better to double your investment in 1 month then triple in 3-4 months. So you just need to analyze timing as well. Does it worth it to wait few extra months for 15-20 percent? You decide
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How is the crypto industry going to look like in 5–10 years? on: April 04, 2018, 07:50:13 PM
I am sure that this new technology is here for long. It will probably change since its not really widely usable as it is. I expect financial institutions to adopt them in a way so there will be no conflict between “old school” and crypto. Another thing I expect to happen is crypto to become more stable investment. I know that this what all of us don’t want, but I don’t see other way for it to be usable. The ICO market will change as well. It will be hold between funds I guess and that will reduce amount of scam ICOs and amount of coins in general
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market corrections are good on: April 02, 2018, 07:51:13 PM
I think correction is the necessary part of this market because this market depending on negative or positive news and react accordingly. And correction is good for this market because it create a buying opportunity for peoples.

Right, this is something necessary, and we will always have the periods of corrections. However, today the market situation does not remind me any correction. I am waiting impatiently for the green rates.

You are very right, its just you didn’t use right word – downtrend. What we see now is not correction. The difference here is that corrections are in fact very good, it shows that the interest to the coin is there and potential to the future grow as well. But downtrends are not so good for market. Only professional traders can profit during it
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS will be successful? on: April 02, 2018, 07:26:54 PM
EOS main network is not online, but its price has been so high. it is a legend. what raises this price?

There is no doubt that EOS has very professional team behind, and you can feel it by the way it is supported and the way marketing done as well. They are not going to give up even on low market as I see. And this makes me believe that it has potential. I know there were concerns about EOS being scam, probably because of the way ICO was done. But the time proved that it is going to be with us for a long. It is actually one of the real competitors of Etheteum. I will not be surprised if some exchanges will open the trading pares with EOS
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market is GREEN - Do you trust it on: April 02, 2018, 07:08:13 PM
Do you think the market will stay green or turn red?

It not an easy call

I say green

For market to go green you need trust of investors, at this point there is no sign of it. Some people here are suggesting to use technical analysis, but it won’t help here. In the crisis time you should use fundamental instead. I follow up with cryptonews and at this point can say that there is no hope for near future. The “day of green” is not enough to bring investors back to crypto. It should be series of great news, probably from governmental agencies
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you ❤️ crypto??? on: April 01, 2018, 08:55:51 PM
I like crypto for two reasons. First because it is new technology and I like to learn new. And second reason is actually connected to first. The good thing about crypto is that you can learn and study it just from your home, everything is available in internet. Somehow idea behind crypto unites me with other people with whom I share my knowledge even though I have never met them in real life. I trust this people and I am happy that the number of my cryptofriends is growing all the time
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We do not need government and bank any more on: April 01, 2018, 08:19:30 PM
I don’t believe that one will replace another. At the end of the day they will merge in some way and everybody will benefit from that. As long as we have borders and governments there is no way to live with no banks as well, but they should adapt their functions to be able to use advantages of blockchain
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins You Think will Grow on: April 01, 2018, 07:42:47 PM
Many good coins are already mentioned above. I just want to add one thing I am planning to do myself. I think that there are good new coins that just came out or will come in near future and they probably will be on the price lower then ICO. You can be almost sure that the price will go up within few months, when the projects teams will show some activities. As example I can take insights and probably current
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My BIGGEST cryptocurrency mistake on: March 31, 2018, 07:27:55 PM
Everybody make mistakes, that’s normal. The biggest mistake you can make as a trader is not to use stop-losses. You can lose a little but protect yourself from bigger loss. But if you are not a trader, but investor then you just wait. If your coins are good they will gain the price, the question is the time you are ready to wait.
I have invested in CAPP pretty much and had a chance to sell it with good price, but didn’t do it in time. So now I am just hodling hoping that it will get its price back in a year or so
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How bad are ICOs this year? on: March 31, 2018, 07:10:04 PM
This advice is good for all the times. You always should be careful in your investments. Don’t follow just blindly. Study the project, team, whitepaper and, very important - roadmap. Its not always good to be in pre-ICO as well. On pre-ICO stage it is more difficult to analyze the ICO since usually not so much info is available. Plus to that you freeze invested money for much longer period of time. So its more difficult to predict the profit. There are some ICOs which better to buy on the Exchange after the sale. What I want to say is that there are options and depending on info you can obtain you need to do your choice
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market Goes Down and Down on: March 30, 2018, 09:46:18 PM
I am very optimistic when it comes to cryptocurrencies, but not so optimistic about current situation. I see that there is still potential for it to go down more and we should not call this correction already. This is not correction it’s downtrend. Big difference is there. But even when it will change to uptrend it will not be steep, as it was back in December. Market lost a lot of investors and it needs time to recover
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum, Ripple or Litecoin? on: March 30, 2018, 09:31:16 PM
Don’t make a choice. They all three have potential to give you profit. The question is the risk always associated with investment. I would say that when it comes to risk ethereum is more safe at this point. Considering that I would invest more in ethereum and less in ripple and litecoin
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Crypto end? on: March 30, 2018, 09:19:20 PM
I don’t think you will find people actively involved in this forum and same time think that crypto has no future. It is most definitely has great future, but I would think that it needs some changes, and they will come as it evolves. What bothers me is its volatility. On one hand that is what we all like since we want to make quick bucks on it, but on the other if crypto is going to be used for payment it should be more stable
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best ico s for March and April ? on: March 30, 2018, 09:05:24 PM
Very good question since it is the time when you need to be very picky in your investments. I think that at this market it is very important for ICO to be at the top when it comes to hype. The team and idea, roadmap and whitepaper are need to be studied as well for sure, but what I want to say is that this is not enough. As example I can take Yggdrash or Pchain which are very hyped at the moment. This is the projects I invest. But on the other hand there are great projects which better to skip on ICO itself, but buy it on the exchange right after and follow up the roadmap to sell with profit. As example of this kind of ICOs I would suggest Jet8, Videocoin, Traceto
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: All in ETH now? on: March 30, 2018, 08:43:47 PM
It is definitely the time to pay closer attention to Ether. Same like many other coins. But depending on how you are going to make your profit. If you want to profit in short term, then probably would be wise to wait a little more and see if the market is changing. But if you can buy and hold then this price should be great. But still as others are already suggested here don’t go for one coin only. I am always trying to give more space to Ethereum in my portfolio, but only because I like to use it for ICOs
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Finally spring bull run is coming? on: March 29, 2018, 06:08:13 PM
I have no expectation for quick recovery and in any way it is not going to be rapid. A lot of people lost money in the last few months and they will not invest back in near future. There is small amount of people who is still profiting on bearish market, but the rest will stay away from it for a while. I believe we should stop waiting for “recovery”, forget about previous price heights and just take it from here and try to get profit
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: whats your plans for the year 2018 on: March 28, 2018, 03:31:32 PM
In this year I will still try to invest in the best ICOs and keep some coins as well. But I am sure that another way to go should be trading. Using trading I managed to do good profit even when the market is bearish. For trading it doesn’t really matter if the market is going up or down, it just need to move
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So what amount IS big enough to invest in one coin? on: March 28, 2018, 03:05:23 PM
I see people asking for investment advice and all you guys say is: 50/100/whatever amount $ is not enough to invest in a coin, go for a good meal or beer yada yada. So I would ask you wealthy people what amount IS enough to invest then? Smiley

It doesn’t really matter the amount, I know people started from 30 USD and already having thousands of dollars profit, its more important how you use your deposit. I am trying to keep it this way: 20 percent of my investment I keep in BTC, 30 Percent in ETH. The rest I spread between alts approximately 7-10 percent for each. I also have some very cheap coins for small percentage (2-3% each) from my deposit hoping that they can skyrocket and I can quickly sell them in that moment
