Hello everyone  Wink I have a problem

Backup my wallet

I Copy 1337 folder C: / Users / <your username> / AppData / Roaming to my Desktop

I copied the wallet.dat from C: / Users / <your username> / AppData / Roaming I deleted everything ...

I installed the new wallet and erased the created wallet.dat and put the old wallet.dat I run the new wallet .... result ... give me error .... what am I doing wrong  Huh Huh

____________________________________________________________________
If not copy the old WALLET.DAT and leave the new WALLET.DAT created the wallet works but I get without the coins and with new adress ... it does not interest to be left with nothing Undecided Undecided

Even though I copied everything and managed to put the old version and it was as it was before (I recovered everything but I have the old wallet) Cool

Does anyone explain how I put the new version without losing the coins?  Huh Huh

I need help, please
I haven't tried yet but you can probably export your private keys using the old wallet then use the new wallet and import the private keys.

If you still do not try it, it's better to try, but I recommend copying everything to go back to the old version if it does not work
Maybe need a video on youtube to help newbies

command on the console:
importwallet <filename>

or

importprivkey <1337privkey> [label]

How do you export/import?   Huh Huh
Do you need to encrypt the wallet to do this?  Huh Huh

To export a individual address you can use the console command "dumpprivkey <address>". Or to dump the whole wallet you can use the command "dumpwallet <filename>"
To import it you can use either of those console commands you listed above.

I am still working on few things. Everything is working fine on linux. If you're linux user and are stuck behind, please use the bootstrap from here https://github.com/Velvet78/1337/releases/tag/v1.9.0.0 ..Windows users can use the bootstrap as well...i am still verifying few things on windows..stay tuned.

What is the bootstrap? How do I use bootstrap? Huh Huh
I'm a Windows user.
1. Download the snapshot from above.
2. Make a back up of your wallet.dat
3. Delete everything in the 1337 folder except your wallet.dat
4. extract all the files and folders from the zip file to your 1337 folder
5. Start the wallet and it will use the bootstrap/snapshot

Console commands worked

1º Old wallet
I used the command
dumpprivkey <1337address>

2º New wallet
I used the command
importprivkey <1337privkey> [label]

I dont understand
The address has been transferred but my balance is at 0? some command to update the balance?

I have exactly same issue, wallet showing it's up to date but balance shows as 0 without any transactions or history Sad

In my case it still crashing when using bootstrap with old wallet.dat, when I delete it from Roaming folder it goes through but i can't import old wallet.
In console I've got "Cannot open wallet dump file (code -8)".

guys, let's create traffic on the stock exchange. they must be active. I think that there is no need to explain this

good suggestion.let's do it.

I try every day. but one does not have enough coins or money to create a big volume

This! You are right, everybody should send some coins to Cryptopia to make volume.
I really like idea and work made with this coin, just joined airdrop (hoping I'll get accepted Cheesy).
So I've checked a price on coinmarketcap, and noticed that MN will cost me ~ 1BTC
Yea Cheesy When I get on Cryptopia and saw that 2.28645588 MTNC stretching price and nearly no volume at current buyers price (it's roughtly 500 coins and then price is above 2.5k sat).
So is MTNC undervalued at this moment by buyers or owners don't want to sell their coins?Smiley

I'm not going to sell my coins  Grin Grin Grin so you can wait, and less for such a low price

Ok, so let's assume there are more of 'like you' out there Tongue
How much coins should I have to get stake intrest in less than 30 days? Smiley
Because with current market depth MN is about 50% off my limits Cheesy

I think at least you should have 10000 masternodecoins in the wallet to increase your chances in staking
Any splits or whole 10k in single block?
Since reward is fixed is it profitable to split blocks?

Today, Modem/router/extender acted up and I've spent several hours to fix it.
So my wallet was on and off in varying time span.
I got like 7 -8 generated but not accepted transactions.

I would guess, you get the reward, but you lose it if your wallet go offline right after the transaction.
Not sure if you're safe if the connection stays until get even 1 confirmation,
but I think it is very possible that the reward would been lost with just few confirmations(less than 6?) before the wallet lose connection.

If you get accepted but not genereted your coin should just start staking right away with it's weight after your stake is conflicted. So You should not lose anything, it should go back up with it's % (don't know how it's with 808, but almost every other pos works like that)
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] <808% apr> Drop the Bass!! 17%+ eligible after 8.08+ days on: September 22, 2017, 10:21:20 PM
8.08 days for mature?
i thought 8.08 days was for the stake reward  Huh Huh Huh
usually coins take 10 hours fo rmature time
It's not exactly same as other POS coins. You are getting stake rewards for maturing period (unlike other coins), but you can get your stake only AFTER 8.08 day passed from time You got tx in Your wallet.
So basically, 'staking' starts at day 8, but rewards getting calculated from day 0.

oh wow this work very good!
so its grantued you get stake after 808 days whatever coins do you have? even not much?
Well, as i stated somewhere before current weight for single block to get pos is ~200-300k. So since 1 weight = 1 coin every 24h after 8.08 days ( So 8 days and ~few hours). Divide 300k by amount you wish your blocks have and You get days for stake.
I've calculated it lately if it won't change in year (but it would) ~750 coins should stake in ~365 days for full 808% intrest (+8.08 day lock period).
So let's assume (always add 8.08 days to time and +17% to intrest):
750 coins     -~1 year for 808 %
1500 coins   -~180 days for 404 %
3000 coins   -~90 days for 202 %
6000 coins   -~45 days for 101 %
12000 coins -~30 days for 51 %
24000 coins -~15 days for 25 %
50000 coins -~7 days for 12 %
etc.
If You have your wallet opened when tx shows as green in mining tab, You could have your stack faster than comes from rought assumption, mean values and observation Smiley

Hypotethically apsolutely yes. If someone has phisical access to your computer or he enteres trough network he can send them to his adress.. be safe..

Hey thanks for the reply a follow up question would be What would be the best way to protect a staking wallet from thieves?
Encrypting it, and leaving it unlocked only for staking. Only harm one can do then is:
a) Deleting Your wallet (keep back-up somewhere safe)
b) Turn Your wallet off
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] <808% apr> Drop the Bass!! 17%+ eligible after 8.08+ days on: September 22, 2017, 08:49:25 AM
hello.
I sent 808 coin from cryptopia twenty minutes ago, but  do not still arrive in the wallet.

How much time will it take?
Is your wallet fully sync'ed?
It should be visible on your wallet, if it is.

Thank you ,i got it when i woke up!^^

I'm looking forward to being mined.

So i have 1.7million coins ,how long mining will it take so long?

You should get stake at around 8-9 day. Most of my 30k blocks stakes in max 20 days (including 8.08 days lock). So right now stake you can get stake at ~200000-300000 coin weight, you start gaining weight after lock period (8.08 days) Smiley
Since Your coin have a lot of weight, if You plan to hold, consider spliting it into smaller blocks (100-200k is really ok) - since 808 dont have multisend/split blocks You need to do it manually by sending amount of coins to your wallet address.

You will lose out on compounding if you take this route. You stake 3 times in 60 days, the larger block guy can stake 6+ times.
Yeah, it's not worth splitting blocks under 100-200k. I've just have few of 30k blocks I've mentioned, and 500k+compound block staking, and i'm usually hitting stake with it maximum in 10 day.
Those 30k blocks are my freebies from staking. They are after roi so I don't really care when I'll get stake Smiley

Interesting, I'm staking on average 9-10 days with one large block like clockwork.  I just re-combine the stacks right after each stake.

Hmmm, I understand it wlii take about 1~2weeks.
and,when I will stake, I should  re-combine block!
Larger blocks is the best to stake, isn't it?
I’m poor at English, you've been so helpful.
I really appreciate all of you.Thank you!
I'm not sure combining coins every 8 to 9 days is a best practice.
You will lose time unless you check so often and it is not possible for most people.
I'll let the stack fragmented and combine stacks with really small amounts of coins.
Unless bigger stacks gets full percentage and smaller ones get lower percentage.
I think they are getting an identical percentage.

we all losing time, when we combine blocks, waiting for coins to be mature and waiting for staking confirmations which is around 100+ confirmations. its all part of the game, but in the end there is a huge gain Smiley

how long it takes for get mature? mine are still violet after 20 hours!
when they are matured and ready for stake they are green i am right?
Yeah, it's green after it matures.
It takes 8.08 day for coins to mature (wallet can be closed at this time)

With standard masternodes we can still get PoS rewards, or only with newest masternodecoin? If we can get PoS rewards i prefer standard masternodecoin but only if Solaris coin will still be Asic mining resistant.

Please let me clarify that.  We have following possibilities:

- Only PoW and Masternodes
- PoW phase with masternodes and after that PoS with masternodes.

Thanks for support !

Second option is better.

PoW+Masternodes.
Enables options like mixing and darksend.
Also PoW must be considered the better solution for creating and distributing intial coins. (vs icos which is basicly premined shitclose sold for hype)

Then evolving to PoS+Masternodes after the initial coin supply has been created by PoW.
Benefits:
PoS enables staking for smaller wallets and holders.
MN makes sure there are plenty of nodes on the network.

MN's also constricts the supply by "locking" coins away from the markets. This again has a deflation effect as available supply is lowered. Hence increasing the buy pressure on the remaining coins and a raise in price. Each new masternode will increase the effect.

So when considering specs, its important to work out the formula of number of nodes vs coins required and how much they will lock.

I suggest getting familiar with all the common masternode coins f.ex featured at https://masternodes.pro/

The avg. reward seems to be around 45% to Masternodes.
EXCL has a very low reward of 10% ... i suspect this might be updated.
CHC recently updated to 45%ish too i think.

https://masternodes.pro/

I'm no expert, but I agree with your line of thought.  If it's possible to remain with an energy friendly and less then common algorithm such as Nist5 I would really like that too since I think it helps to set Solaris apart from the pack and it relatively mining friendly, which will encourage more folks to test it out with their own hardware rather then having to purchase it at an exchange.

I detest most ICOs, so lets not even consider that crap.

- PoW phase with masternodes and after that PoS with masternodes.

My Dev advice me to end PoW at some day and go for PoS. From the technical perspective thats the best way.  Its designed to work that way.

The code has the latest/newest  masternodes and is based on bitcoin 0.14. In other words the code base is brand new
Algorithm  XEVAN is quite new and asic resistant .

What you think?

Yea, and it don't have any miner that is good/profitable to use Sad So right now, xevan would mean all green team will lose intrest in mining XLR.

I have a question about my active connections, a few week ago my active connections was over 20 and now i only have 9 active connection to the network. Why my active connections go down when i leave my wallet open 24/7 and not shut down my computer? do i need to do anything to get my connections back up?

Check your router for port forwarding.
And if you are using Bitcoin.conf to list the nodes for connections update it using the actual node list from https://chainz.cryptoid.info/bitb/#!network

Thank you for the help but i not know how to do this port forwarding with my router. What i must do to set this up and get more connections to the bitbean network because i not have a .conf file in my bitbean app data roaming file. i thought we not need this .conf file any more with bitbean?
You can find all information you need at this site.
https://portforward.com/networking/static-ip-windows-10.htm
Btw, you don't have to set a static address for your local computer.
Just assign an ip address from somewhere in your router - Lan - DHCP.
Also make sure to allow traffic from your security software.

NOTE:  The given information here is only valid for Windows 10, but is good information to know.

Leave it to Microsoft to complicate something as simple as a port forward!!  Roll Eyes
Guys what is good weight to start staking now? 100k will be ok to get stake in... let say 10 days?
How much beans should i have to get stakes everyday?

If you are going to do a new coin with masternodes, I think it is best to do it X11, it will be better for your network. This NIST5 thing will probably mean you have pretty low hash rate forever.
We need decided about specification Solaris with masternode.  With the newest core base 12.2 we can get PoS coin. What you think about this?  Which algorithm you advise ?

Thanks for support!

I would say tribus quick and efficient algo!
But why do we need to change algo? By far XLR is the best nist5 coin atm. Also nist5 is quite energy efficient algo Smiley
179  Economy / Gambling / Re: Investing in btc casinos on: September 18, 2017, 11:25:29 PM
I think you are in the wrong section. congratulations . You review about investing in bitcoin-accepted casinos. I still have not found a bitcoin casino with investment options, I do not think it is a good idea to look at gambling as an investment.

There are a number of crypto casinos that offer the chance to buy into the bankroll and make a percentage of the house profits. While it is a higher risk investment than many others, as your returns could be negative at times, that risk is reflected in the potential returns. It's not an investment for everybody but that does not mean it is not a good idea for all.

Can You recommend some trused one's? I was thinking about it lately, but can't find anything trusty enought to put more than 0.01BTC there.

Anyone else having problem with staking?? Using v1.0.1.1-g wallet

Please make sure that your wallet is unlocked for staking, if it is unlocked already then please restart wallet, you will get paid in 1 hour.
Make sure you have staking=1 in conf file
Also please note that wallet should be online 24/7

-support team

Done this multiple times Sad
Does split of blocks after first stake affect this?

Nope it does not affect. You can give it another try

-support team

After 5 days of 'giving a try' I went 'Sad mode' and transfered funds to Cryptopia to make 'clean wallet' - now it's stuck in maintance...
Seems that Linda is not for me (for now) Sad
