161  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it time to sell Ethereum & all coins , and buy Bitcoin on: February 03, 2019, 11:53:28 PM
If you not yet sold a majority of your coins by now, then I think you have to hodl and wait for the next round of a bullish trend because you will gain nothing in selling or buying coins now. The time experts were advising people to sell was like some kind f joke and those who took the advice seriously, are enjoying their profits.
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunters are not beggars on: February 03, 2019, 11:13:13 PM
This is the kind of community we live in and no one seems to care. All they care is investors but not knowing the bounty hunter also plays a vital role in the success of a project. We have to learn to adapt to it because no one will have time for bounty hunters, IMO.
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bad Time ? on: February 03, 2019, 08:12:42 PM
Red markets are good signs for new investors so do not be worried if you have not bought some coins yet rather be happen for not being in those who have lost their investments. Green markets mean it's time for profit taking so if you don't start in red market, you cannot get to the greens.
164  Economy / Speculation / Re: IS IT TIME TO BUY MORE BITCOIN? on: February 03, 2019, 04:46:06 PM
Bitcoin is a very precious coin for everyone in the crypto verse to have. This time has given many people to load their bags with bitcoins. Even the haters are buying for the profit they could get when they hear of predictions like bitcoin to 100K.
I would hesitate to have more bitcoin at this time when the price is low compared to the ATH.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple will Die on: February 02, 2019, 11:56:24 PM
This is just another funny question. I am neither a soothsayer nor a god to predict the fate of ripple but with I have witnessed, ripple is one of the potential markets that is set to over take bitcoin some time to come. The major updates that are given about ripple clearly shows that ripple is a very good coin to have, in fact, an alternative to fiat. So, IMO, ripple will never die.
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Old coins vs new coins on: February 02, 2019, 11:09:38 PM
old coins: coins that went through the bull run
new coins: are ICO tokens from projects during the bear market, mostly not listed on exchanges.

It is obvious that all the aspect of the space had struggled due the giant force of bitcoin. Over the past year the average dump in price of most of the old token/altcoin from the last bull run is close to 90% while the new coin are holding to their price. Most ICOs in the later part of 2018 decided to postpone the listing which their decision could be justified or condemned as the market revives.
With the approaching news of bull run and present the value of altcoins,
1.  can the altcoins ever hit the ATH price even at $20000 bitcoin?
2. Can the new coin from ICO be an alternative even with so much old coin held in some portfolios?
3. will you choose to hold on to old coins or sell to invest into new ICOs?

I also think the same way but one thing is that most of the ICOs were conducted by people who had knowledge in crypto so they used the bitcoin's "bubble(sorry if I used an abusive term)" to steal money from investors so no money to invest in better projects that are here now or completed their ICOs but with few funds. Looking at the way some few alts are functioning and devs doing their work, I think new alts may hit a very high price one day if not now.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Video call for KYC verification on: February 02, 2019, 09:25:09 PM
I can say it is one of the safest ways to use if they really want an anti-cheat system. As for documents, people can even still other people's documents and use them as theirs. Most KYCs done do not required a selfie with current date which brings in a flaw because if I have a friend's selfie with pic and passport, i am ok to cheat or for what ever reasons why the kyc is done.
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you thing Cryptocurrency can last forever? on: February 02, 2019, 11:14:12 AM
Not all cryptocurrencies can last forever but some will surely last forever. The tones of crypto tokens that are created now and every day have no use. Just because it is easy to create them, people keep creating them and stealing people's money each and every day. BTC and the top coinmarket cap coins that have demand may stay forever. Even if some g into extinction, others will still make the name of crypto stay forever.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not be afraid of making mistakes on: February 02, 2019, 01:35:12 AM
I made a big mistake in 2017 and this has only taught me a lesson. I am not afraid of making mistakes any way but the fact is I will be more vigilant the should the situation happen the same way.
Crypto is full of uncertainties unlike the fiats which rise and fall very slightly.
170  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prices are destroyed, everyone is disappointed on: February 01, 2019, 01:22:08 PM
You can not call this a disappointment just because BTC price didn't go the way you wanted. I am one of the people that expected this to happen because after every hard pump, people will begin cashing out their profits which triggers a panic sell.
the reason is simple, if it were only one person to cash out a lot of profit, this wouldn't have happened. A lot of people trying to cash out their profit within a short time creates this kind of crash in the general market.
171  Other / Off-topic / Re: A KYC database sold on the Darkweb ? on: January 30, 2019, 11:21:29 AM
Only the people who are unable of what hacked data could be used for always speak for KYCs. A majority of people on this platform are against KYC but it seems none can voice it out and even if it is voiced out, nothing can be done about it. This is one of the negative parts of the blockchain industry, there are no central agencies to oversee some of these activities. People do what they want.
172  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the price of Bitcoin hit 12 to 13k end of this year? on: January 30, 2019, 10:16:05 AM
It is hard to predict price but bitcoin as a master can easy go to 12k buy end of this year. I am realistic and not romantic that where i see the price. What price you predict btc will be by end of year.

Bitcoin is unpredictable. No one can tell when the price will fall or rise but a few factors may help to predict the price of bitcoin. One reason why people are in a strong hope that bitcoin price will rise again is because what we are seeing this time, happened in some years back so they think the same thing may happen again.
As for me, I am just hoping history repeats itself but if it doesn't, I won't be surprised because events are not time dependent in my own reasoning.
173  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin were more than 100K, how much you would buy? on: January 30, 2019, 09:44:17 AM
100K is not a simple money t make if you are not doing a lucrative job. I could have afford like 5K worth of BTC which I think would have been OK for me. I value the amount a coin worth in usd than the amount I hold in general. Some coins be 100billion but their combined value isn't equal to just 10BTC.
174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible sending BTC without a transaction fee? on: January 30, 2019, 01:02:23 AM
It will only be possible if yo are a miner. In which case you will select that transaction and mine it. I even doubt it but I think it will work because I kow that of eth which is possible to send without fee. The miners can do this with ease but there is no where in this crypto world that you are going to get a free transaction.
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mistake you should avoid when holding your Altcoins on: January 29, 2019, 11:15:27 PM
Early 2018 I had different altcoins via bounties, airdrops and small investment in ICOs. But the major mistake I made was waiting for bull run to come so I could sell and make large profit. But atlast the bull run never came. So I had to keep hodling till I got stocked in the Bear market.

I think you all should learn from my mistakes and never wait for bull run because nobody knows when the bull is coming because of the volatility of the market. Sell when you have decent profit and not waiting till you have a large profit. Thanks

You are not the only person who has suffered this. I am part and I know that most the crypto enthusiasts are also part. Our problem is that we have in mind that hodlers are the good people. If you sell, you are naïve, you do not know anything about crypto. People call you all manner of names but the fact is hodling won't fetch you any thing. If I remember that some of my coins were worth over 2000$ and now just 5$, I begin to develop a selling spirit because those developers will tell you not to sell but they will keep selling theirs.
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When Should I Expect The Next Bull Run? on: January 29, 2019, 09:21:35 PM
It is highly difficult to tell which this can happen but I assure you that the bulls will come at their own free time just like the bears have taken over the market. Some people are saying the bakkt exchange will bring a positive change in the crypto market. let's wait and see if this will be the time that the bulls return to the market.
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I will start investing in ICO if on: January 29, 2019, 06:44:48 PM
I will start investing in ICOs if
1) they can afford funds on there own to run there projects and stop relying on softcaps and hardcaps(investors money) which is why its the perfect haven for scammers ,you want to create a project that is very promising and you don't have the funds just move on ,no matter how good the project is if the hardcap is not achieved its goodbye

2)the waiting game is annoying ,if they follow my 1st idea there won't be anything holding them back especially bounty rewards ,nowadays you have to wait months for ICO to end and keep praying it become successful so as to get your rewards and the term successful from any ICO is from 'achievement of hardcaps ' this days not what the project is here to deliver ,there are still good projects out there that never launch ICO and they are doing better

What I have come to realize is that bounty managers have become more greedy than any person in the cryptospace. They are the very people that advise the devs to wait for months, reduce the bounty pool and many others. A typical example is Dominium that changed to maxcrowdfund. The bounty manager advised the founders to reduce the bounty pool just because the bounty hunters will dump the price. Why will he do that? This is because his pool isn't reduced and by so doing, the bounty hunters get few tokens and he gets a better profit from it.
Let's not blame the founders only because the BMs are the cause of all these that are happening. I have stopped investing in ICOs of late because they don't d what they say and I don't want to lose the little money that I have. For the past 6 months, all ICOs that list on an exchange sell below ICO price so no need to buy in ICO time.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any way I can exchange all altcoins for free? on: January 29, 2019, 05:41:05 PM
What you are looking for may not be in existence in the crypto space yet but you can look for an OTC site where you get in contact with the seller and you discuss on an agreed amount of exchange rate. This will make things better for you I think. Further more, if they are tokens, look for some decentralized exchanges because they only deduct miners fee and nothing more.
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tired of waiting? on: January 29, 2019, 05:08:06 PM
I have waiting more than expected. Right now, I am only depending on my fiat and for the past 8 months, I have not made withdrawal from any exchange meaning I have not spent crypto money for the past 8 months. This is not what we expected. I know very well that some people are behind this. They want us to be poor but they are not the people who created us to deicide our fate. Things will get better.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which alts to buy? on: January 28, 2019, 11:40:17 PM
For now, I urge you to go in for tron which is the leading market in the crypto verse at the moment. Tron has been one of the most successful coins in this year so I think going in for some won't be a bad idea.
