161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to spot a x100, x1000 or x10000 coin ? Isn’t this the million $ question ? on: January 10, 2018, 01:03:16 AM
There isn't a way to do it , just take time to research a project/devteam/roadmap and when you find a good one that you like buy it.
Even then there is no way to be sure , a lot of things can happen to make a coin fail even with good devs.
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP is the best crypto safe haven? on: January 09, 2018, 02:32:10 AM
No because around 70% is owned by the creators , which means that it is very easy to manipulate for them.
Usdt is meant for that , but i won't trust them either . The most stable place is usd i think.
163  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Should I Be Scared Of Hackers If I Have Lot of BTC. on: January 09, 2018, 01:37:08 AM
The safest way is to keep it on a hardware wallet or on a offline pc , and keep a backup somewhere.
I think with values this high there will be even more attempts.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Bitcore- BTX - SEGWIT - lowest fee - hybrid fork 1:0.5 of Bitcoin on: January 09, 2018, 01:27:02 AM
Short information about coinmarketcap and Bitcore circulating supply.

This has just been submitted to cmc:

link to cmc faq: https://coinmarketcap.com/faq/
btx api: https://bitcore.cc/api.php

Since all information is now in line with their requirements I believe it should only be a matter of time until the ~8.3 Million coins from the second snapshot on 2nd of November 2017 are finally correctly updated and included in our circulating supply on coinmarketcap.com.
I hope they see this , and that it works .
They have no reason not to fix it now.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will ICO die in 2018? on: January 05, 2018, 11:27:33 PM
As long as people need money for their projects and other people keep giving it ICO's will keep excisting.
I think it is only getting bigger this year , now crypto's have gone a bit mainstream.
166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why will Bitcoin Rise Again? on: January 03, 2018, 01:36:24 AM
Because till this point , it has always risen . No reason to believe otherwise.
167  Economy / Speculation / Re: What does the future of bitcoin look like?? on: January 03, 2018, 01:25:30 AM
It will be dead or used as a store of value , i don't see bitcoin being used as a currency. At the moment i rather accumulate more altcoins then bitcoin.
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Ripple actually go up ( 10 + ) ? on: January 02, 2018, 02:31:29 AM
No it can't , it doesn't have a low marketcap so i don't know who you listen to.
Because of the huge supply 10+ is impossible i think.
169  Economy / Economics / Re: market dominance in 2018 on: January 02, 2018, 02:24:55 AM
We are still at the point where i you want to buy most altcoins you first have to buy bitcoin. There is no really easy way to buy altcoins . I think when this changes bitcoin will lose a lot more.

To anyone asking about more/better marketing: We finalized our base strategy for marketing during our last meeting.
There are some fundamentals to be accomplished first before we go big on marketing. You can expect them soon.
Also we do have a few more meetings coming up, but right now our focus is on development behind the scenes.

2017 was just the start of a new cryptocurrency project with great tech fundamentals.
2018 however will be huge. Expansion in all directions.
As most of you know we don’t want hype before things are actually done. Still, a lot of details will be available in our official roadmap on the new website.

Thank you community for your enthusiasm and continuous support!

Happy New Year. Smiley
This is great news , looking forward to what you guys will do in 2018.
Happy new year and good luck.
171  Economy / Economics / Re: Economical World Of Bitcoin And Its Difficulties on: December 30, 2017, 08:04:29 PM
I think the security of your own coins is the biggest problem , i won't trust the average Joe to take care of their private keys and wallet back ups.
People are being scammed so easy out of money in their bank accounts , i think when they have crypto's the problem will be much bigger.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple will be $ 3 at the end of the year! Or not? on: December 30, 2017, 07:59:29 PM
It may well become $5 but I wouldn't touch. It's the most manipulative coin in this business. %100 premine, controlled by small group. I wouldn't play that gamble.
You are right , i think most people who invest don't know or care. This shitcoin isn't even a real cryptocurrency.
But noobs think they are buying the next bitcoin.
173  Economy / Economics / Re: Why you should worry this is a bubble on: December 30, 2017, 01:12:13 AM
I worry that this may be a bubble , i'm still invested but the last 2 months have been crazy.
Ripple just surpassed Eth on coinmarketcap, i feel like every noob investor is going into ripple without any idea what it is and what is stands for. It goes against what most people like about crypto , but people just think they bought the next bitcoin. Price has always been important but now it seems the only thing.
174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lost Opportunity on: December 30, 2017, 01:06:15 AM
Yes it sucks that you didn't buy , but no reason to look at that because it won't change. The only thing you can do is find new opportunity's.
Even if it doesn't work at least you tried.
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Bitcore- BTX - SEGWIT - lowest fee - hybrid fork 1:0.5 of Bitcoin on: December 29, 2017, 04:34:13 AM
whats up with a binance listing ?
thats where the real money is these days

and i think because of the awesome TX Capabilitys, partnering up with as many payment processing services as possible is also a keyfactor.

Xapo, TenX, Monaco, Shapeshift, Barterdex etc etc
This or another big exchange is what is needed , if the team can make a deal to distribute the november snapshot on a big exchange it will be great marketing.
176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Bitcoin is better than other coins? on: December 29, 2017, 02:50:29 AM
It isn't better , there are way better options around . Bitcoin has the name so will be number 1 for a while i think. But once people start to see the other options bitcoin price will take a big hit.
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 10 ETH or 1 BTC? on: December 28, 2017, 11:09:23 PM
If would choose an other altcoin instead of eth , bitcoin will have first movers advantage in the next couple of years so if you have to choose i would choose btc.
Eth has better tech now but i think there will be a coin that will work better soon.
178  Economy / Economics / Re: do you think bitcoin is controversial ? on: December 28, 2017, 01:52:03 AM
I think it is in a good way , no need for banks , no way to get your coins back if you lose your private key . Cryptocurrency can change the way the financial system works now.
179  Economy / Economics / Re: question about transaction fees... on: December 28, 2017, 01:38:42 AM
Yes this is a big problem of bitcoin , not only the prices of the transactions. But also the time it takes for the dev team to come to a agreement on improvements is ridiculously long.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will alts crash again ? on: December 26, 2017, 11:21:28 PM
When i see xrp  at $1 then it looks inevitable that the market will go down or at least some of the alts.
So much noobs spending money on shitcoins right now.
