161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What coins are worth buying NOW on: May 24, 2018, 07:00:16 PM
The most valuable coin is bitcoin, and of course, if you can take a risk, I recommend you share a portion of the money to buy EOS, and maybe it will bring you a lot of profit.

Greatest advice among others as for me. Really, I appreciate only bitcoin on this market.
Who knows what will happen with altcoins next month? Some of them will disappear from the web and only topic on this forum(if this coin had such) will remind about it. But Bitcoin will remain Bitcoin whatever

162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think this year will be Red? on: May 24, 2018, 06:56:03 PM
Oh I guess it would be better if I find this topic at the date of it's creation Smiley Because in spring all was waiting for the rockets that have never been before like ripple for 20$, ethereum for 4000, and of course alts that make 100x-200x-300x
And when I was saying that it will be the year of red market and losses with short-time green areas - everybody who hear it said that I am sick Grin Now they are silent
I think it will continue. Just imagine - Bitcoin was 3-4k just a year ago, now it is 8k! And everybody is saying that it is so low that can never be again! So, whole year will show us
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: altcoins are dying on: May 22, 2018, 07:31:33 PM
So many coins just disappear from the market as there is a lot of competition and some projects are not very promising and therefore they just disappear, I think after a certain time they will remain very small

They will never enter this market if not a crypto-hype in 2017 - thats why they will disappear. Too many coins with no sense to market.
But good altcoins are going down and many think that they are dying too. But not like this - they rocket before - and now they just going to their normal levels.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XYO just screwed their investors after token sale on: May 21, 2018, 06:31:50 PM
This is kinda normal when ICOs decide to not to burn tokens after the crowd sale. Maybe if they will not announce that tokens will be burnt - they will not collect such amount as they did.
Everything is made for money. If they burn tokens they increase only investor's amount. But you should understand that nobody makes their projects for investors. For everything - to change the world, to beat cancer, to save pandas, to make such beautiful blockchain based milky factories and bakeries(lol), to become famous, to gain money from hobby and so on, but not to make investors reacher. Only ponzi are for investors Wink
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: are we in an ICO bubbel ?? on: May 21, 2018, 06:19:00 PM
Thats an old topic, but I found the theme interesting. Maybe we can discuss now Smiley
Imo we are not in the bubble now. Or maybe yet. There was a greatest ICO hype in 2017, and many projects need to show results in a year. So 2018 may be the year of disappointment.
How much coins turned out to be scam? How much are doing something just to show that they are doing something? And how much coins made real results and make themselves closer to that points that were in their whitepaper?
So I think bubble started not to explode, but disappearing in slowmotion.
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Reviews, trust them or NOT? on: May 21, 2018, 06:12:16 PM
There is no surprise that all videos about ICO are paid. Just because if you run YouTube channel, monetizing it only by built-in instruments you got much less than if you advertise projects to your subscribes.
And every youtuber understands this, somebody earlier, somebody after time. And all we see is bounty material. But there is nothing criminal if the person who advertise it did the research and decided to invest in it.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help me choose an ICO please! on: May 21, 2018, 06:04:42 PM
Choose an ICO that will be successful, how to see if it is successful? Just trust that ICO, and make sure that you choose ICO have potential. Most of the successful ICO investors doesn't rely to random guy's suggestions, they are doing a lot of research to find most ICO's that has a lot of potentials so achieve success in the future.

So if I want to find some successful ICO I just need to trust in it? Nice strategy, infinite profit guaranteed
What about just check github? I think the one thing that is worth interesting is project's github. If it was made few days ago - bad. If it is not updating for months - also bad. You can't make technological currency without upgrading it sometimes. You can't make new Bitcoin in the first try.
So check github, this is the point
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin Difficulty Tracker on: May 20, 2018, 09:48:05 AM
Hi fyoung55, I have searched for your application in Google Play but there is no such app in the store.
But talking in general - I don't see the necessity to make application just for tracking difficulty of only one coin. There are many web resources that can show you these statistics. Maybe it would be better if you make it more functional?
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to start a supernode? on: May 20, 2018, 09:40:30 AM
Can anyone give me idea about how I can start doing supernode stuffs?

I have some scripting fundamentals knowledge but not very high. I want to start with supernode through staking coins. Any kind of suggestions and resources would be highly helpful and appreciated.

Every coin got their own sequencing to star a node. If you have fundamentals in scripting, as you say, it will be easy for you, especially having guide with commands which all coins should have if they want their coins to be on the market.
So the main resource for you is just github repository of coin that you want to start as a node, look through the description, and if you already know something you will spend less 15 minutes on that action.
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: green days are here!!!!! on: May 20, 2018, 09:35:35 AM
Why people become so sensitive to green color on coinmarketcap? Many think that this is the beginning of greatest bull run ever, but please, stop - it is just a little recovery. There is no rise without falling down as there is no dipping without rise up. You see just intraday, so yes, here we are going up a little bit. Just a little. But if you will take a higher timeframe, you will see that the market is going down.
Only one thing is great - if you take the highest timeframe, you see - it will go up anyway Wink But it needs so much patience. Those who react on every price movement scoffs at themselves.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is NEO still worth investing in? on: May 20, 2018, 09:27:32 AM
You know, NEO is considered an Chinese Ethereum, but this coin tries to replace eth itself from the very beginning of it's development.
Also NEO tries to become the first(and I think the only) cryptocurrency in China, and this status will give much more opportunities to NEO not only as an asset.
And there are some ICOs on NEO, remember. While ADA is more like a project, all they have is not bad whitepaper and words words words. So my choice is NEO
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC at end of bounty campaign on: May 18, 2018, 06:24:26 PM
Simply I don't understand why such bounty program managers need to identify every bounty participant. This is KYC - Know Your Customer. Customer -w we, as a bounty participants, are not customers. We don't pay fiat or crypto to receive tokens, we complete the tasks. Crypto is not such thing that is about full identifying each other. If somebody want to get my document why wont he share his ones with me.

Maybe this system is for decreasing of alts. I don't protect such people, they are cheaters, but they do the job anyway. And best protection from alts imo is higher demands to campaigns. For example, not 70 characters, but 400 per post, and it should be constructive, really constructive but not on topic theme. So my opinion kinda KYC for bounty participants is  too much.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is better Ripple or Tron? on: May 18, 2018, 06:04:46 PM
If I was in such choice what I should buy as a long term investment(for at least one or two years of holding) I will choose Tron. I think it is better to hold Tron than Ripple in such timeframe.
Ripple is such currency(not crypto also) that was made long time ago and it is not something innovative. Tron is more like a new thing, it can become faster, cheaper and etc.
And of course these thoughts are only imho, and just for long time hold. I can't make a prediction of price movement in few days, maybe Ripple will be better in this case
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS - SCAM OR NOT? BUY OR NOT? on: May 18, 2018, 05:52:46 PM
they appeared on the market not so long ago and still in a short period gained popularity. it seems to me that it's not just really

That level of hype that EOS gained through its ICO is thanks to their marketing campaign. Their add was even on WallStreet monitors, so just imagine how much money did they spend on this advertisement.
One more thing - they gain money by themselves - I mean the price is not going up and down just on the exchanges but developers receive money every round of ICO(every day in simple). So they will have enough money to hire any specialist no matter how much he want for his job, really. So this project can't become scam in the nearest future
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Grooming thousands of anonymous members on: May 17, 2018, 06:04:44 AM
This is good idea, but there is one moment - all who want to know more about crypto, they already learning. Those who came here just for money - they don't need this information, crypto for them is just one instrument among many others, they don't understand true strength of it, and how crypto can change this world(really change, without exaggeration).
Thats why this topic is not popular at all Wink Everyone converse about buy or sell ripple, not so many people who want talk about crypto.
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do when your coin spikes? on: May 17, 2018, 05:34:54 AM
This depends on what coin this is and what position does it takes in market capitalization rating. When 30% gains coin from top10 of coinmarketcap this may be the moment to sell if there is no reason for such up.
If this is coin with low cap it means someone just bought for hold, this is not the moment to sell. It is maybe signal for strong hold though.
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: best upcoming ICO on: May 16, 2018, 05:01:59 PM
The best upcoming ICO for this november would be Utrust. There is a lot of hype around it and it deserves it completely with the strong project and the team.

Ummmm hello guy from the past, Utrust ICO has ended, we are in 2k18, and there is no pros of holding this coin for holders, it is by ICO price after the pump, so sell immediately to get profit. With love from the future.

Speaking on thread I would like to recommend you to participate in Yumerium. This is the project from my signature, yes. It is VR gaming platform that will allow game developers and gamers earn and spend tokens in their VR ecosystem(in simple words). I think VR will become part of our life in nearest future, and Yumerium team will make such product that will unite Vive, Rift, maybe even Sony VR in one ecosystem that will become kinda VR world. And its your opportunity - to participate in such great ICO and support this idea.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think ETC will BOOM again on: May 16, 2018, 04:50:42 PM
I really believe the price of the ETC will shine again but it takes a long time if the ETC price goes up by HF, I'm sure there must be a lot of losses caused by HF because it buys at a low level and it turns out HF Coins do not have a great price, I myself also suffer losses at that time, so from now on the price is still cheap then I buy it back in hopes the price can come back on top.

Ethereum classic is very massive asset to move in my opinion. Look through its price since the very beginning. It shows us the graph that almost every coin draw same time.
Pay attention on its price not in USD but in BTC. It is near its low of all times, not that bad of course but I want to say that it is dip now. And that is very complex question - will it recover back and grow higher.
As for me ETH - the modified version of ETC - is much more popular, and it takes the huge part of all crypto market capitalization. And I see no reason for ETH to lose its position, especially for ETC
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am I cursed? on: May 15, 2018, 02:09:07 PM
I don't know if I am cursed or something. If I sell a coin now from airdrop/bounty few days later that coins increases much that you will regret selling. If I hold a coin from airdrop/bounty again that coins price decreases much that you will regret not selling right away. I'm confused now whenever I sell the price increases and when I hold the price decreases. Am I cursed?  Cry

We can make nice business together - just tell me what coin you would like to sell, I will buy it, it will become rocket, and I will share profit with you - we will accept your disease and make money with it Cheesy
Seriously, there is nothing to worry about, there are many people as you are. If you want to insure yourself from such moments - just don't sell at all, sell when it is high.
But, seriously, you can sell something and write it down here - we will check if it works Wink
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is mew now on: May 15, 2018, 02:01:58 PM
There is no possibilities to recover your ethereum or any other crypto, and this is kinda weird that you ask if you can do it.
But what you can do is protect yourself from hacking. Your eth can be stolen only if your private key was stolen, so this is your bad that it goes to wrong hands.
If you are on windows just install anti-virus. And don't download every single file from the internet, take care of your money
