161  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin Debit Card on: March 03, 2018, 07:18:05 PM
If you get this card, you could withdraw from any atm in the us correct?  What are the limits per day, week, month etc?  Also is the btc rate good?  What about the fees?  Is it better/worst or much better/worst than as oppose you use coinbase/gdax or gemini to withdraw to my bank account?
Yes,if we purchase this card that costs around 10$, we can use it in any ATM in all 50 US states.
The limits are as follows-
  • Purchase Limits - $10,000 per DAY
  • Cash Withdrawal Limits - $3,000 per DAY
  • Load Limit - $10,000 per DAY
It is far better than other ways to withdraw btc to bank account!

The other thing is could you use it outside the US and withdraw money in another currency?  Would you guys recommend the bitpay debit card?  What other bitcoin debit card would you recommend?
One of the cons of Bitpay is that it is only limited to US residents. It cannot be used outside US.
These are some other TOP Bitcoin Debit Cards -
  • Cryptopay
  • Xapo
  • Wirex
  • Shift
But the best Bitcoin Debit Card I'd suggest only if you're a US citizen is BITPAY. As it is accepted all over US.
But in January this year there were some issues raised regarding the bitcoin debit cards and they plan on shutting their service. So better stay away and prefer hardwallets instead!
162  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin Will be Zero on: March 03, 2018, 03:18:19 PM
There are numerous of huge companies around across the world which have their shares in bitcoin which allows bitcoin to regain all its dumps and rise again back to normal value or rise greater. And we can say it will come to zero when all these companies might fall and there's no one backing it up, not even its huge investors, but that's not going to happen any time soon, maybe never. So it might never be ZERO!
163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Continue believing in Bitcoin when the government says not to? on: March 02, 2018, 05:26:16 AM
After last years record of bitcoin, it came in the bright light an more and more people got introduced to cryptocurrencies in general. But after that the government officials and banks started to convince people to avoid indulging in the cryptocurrency world, be it any virtual currency.
A lot of banks have stopped purchase of any cryptocurrency through their cards and some trading sited have also warned users to withdraw all your money from trading and put a hault on any trading activity. They say as cryptocurrencies are highly volatile, one could go in great debt as reaching unprecedented heights is not promised to anyone.
What are the legit and massive reason one should truly keep believing in bitcoin and cryptocurrencies other than it being anonymous and it lets people have control over their money?!
164  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to the moon!? LITERALLY on: March 02, 2018, 05:16:29 AM
Seriously they sent the paper wallet of bitcoin to the moon ? lol
bitcoin now is already on the moon, and bitcoin will be travel to the more higher places.
bitcoin price will surely increase.
Not exactly to the moon, it crossed the Armstrong limit in the space, It went around 30km above the Armstrong limit.
And yes bitcoins value will surely increase.

(or maybe they had a copy of their paper wallet to be on the safe side).
Might be!

maybe it is true that they sent a paper wallet of a bitcoin into space to express their hopes and enthusiasm that bitcoin will really fly to the moon ,although it's really unbelievable to waste that kind of things but their effort is not wasted at all because bitcoin value is setting an ATH in the following year.
Yeah, if we see from this opinion then that was wastage of resources!
Which somehow did good.

My opinion about that it is that what they did is none of our business, it is their choice, just like what you have said, its their bitcoin, they can do whatever they wanted to do with it, let's not just meddle with their bitcoins. Even though after what they did, bitcoin will still going to the moon, it is not like they control the market, NO, maybe they have bitcoins, but there are more investors who hold more bitcoins than them, and it is bitcoin's nature to go to the moon as always.
Yeah.

wouldn't be that hard if you consider Elon Musk sent a freaking Tesla over Mars (and above).. somebody should have contacted him to put in the trunk of the car a paper wallet Smiley
Maybe ELON MUSK is after that paper wallet! Lol.
165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin to the moon!? LITERALLY on: March 01, 2018, 01:31:58 PM
We come across the phrase BITCOIN TO THE MOON really often. Some workers of the Genesis Mining Team took it seriously. They sent a paper wallet on a 3D model of a Bitcoin into space with the help of a weather balloon. This is about two year ago in september 2016, when the price of bitcoin was really not that high. They wanted to show somehow that bitcoin will reach greater heights, and decided why not SEND it to greater heights.
Do you think what they did was advisable? I can't say right or wrong because they owned them and they could do whatever with it but was it a wise move? Will it be counted as wastage of bitcoins?
Your thoughts?

166  Economy / Services / Re: HERO MEMBERS NEEDED on: February 28, 2018, 05:09:25 PM
Seems you are new to this forum and are not familiar with the rules. You can yourself start posting from this particular account and promote your ICO and the bounty programs.
Or you could just hire a campaign manager like yahoo62278- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=355846
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MYETHERWALLET Slow... is it normal? on: February 27, 2018, 10:24:58 AM
It is working just fine. You should try closing all other sites which you think might be taking up your internet speed or just recheck whether it's your internet (then restart it) or just the MEW site. And if you are using any kind of VPN service then that might be the reason for the site to load slow. Disable it, and stop other downloads if any ongoing are present at the moment. This should fix it. Or if it's still slow then there might be a lot of traffic on that site, just try after some time.
168  Economy / Speculation / Re: Samsung Galaxy S9 will be able to clear the Crypto currency. on: February 26, 2018, 04:34:59 PM
Samsung really has some big hidden reasons for including such a feature in its new smartphone. Most of the soft core miners the ones that mine alternate cryptocurrencies, might definitely go for this product rather than purchasing the high-end and extremely expensive machinery used for mining and then there's monthly huge electricity bills.
Maybe more smartphones might follow what samsung has started and make mining, more accurately CHEAP and easy alternate crypto mining available for everyone!
169  Economy / Economics / Re: Implication of regulation and the securities status on: February 25, 2018, 11:54:44 AM
The need of more secure investment in ICO has been drastically increasing as the amount of scams we encounter are also rising day by day. Most of the promising projects turn out to be a scam like confido was one.
If the government has some plans for reducing these frauds then it's really good.
Other countries should also adopt and implement these solutions for reducing scams and giving the right projects and ICOs what they deserve.
Similar steps have been taken, and ICO 2.0 was created.

170  Other / Meta / Re: Alternative for merit system on: February 25, 2018, 11:34:12 AM
It's not necessary that a higher ranked member must or definitely has knowledge greater than a lower rank member.
The merit system focuses to forcee all the shitposters who truly do no work and  just post for the sake of increasing their post count and earn from signature campaigns to make constructive to the point post. And it's succeeding in its aim.
And about a like button, that's just not really needed when merit system is already there. Mostly all the bounty hunters here might get a little p*ssed off from this new merit system. But those who come here just to seek knowledge and get advice are okay with any rule made in this forum!

Hope that some of the post are worthy of sMerit. If not, I'll try harder. Thanks.

173  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Reach $120,000 Billionaire Says YES! on: February 24, 2018, 11:59:02 AM
Firstly I don't understand how will it reach to that high amount maybe if all the billionaires stared investing huge amount of their wealth and decide to hold it (which is highly unlikely to happen anytime soon). And why are you sharing a long boring video with unnecessary talks in it, just cut it to te point. Let us know WHY IS IT THAT YOU THINK OR WHAT FORCED YOU TO THINK BITCOIN WILL RISE THAT HIGH and then the answers will follow.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The new ICO 2.0 concept will prevent scams! on: February 24, 2018, 11:49:31 AM
This is really a great concept after all the Catastrophe some people have already caused due to scams and the amount they hae scammed! Cryptocurrency world allows people to have control over their own money but these scammers steal our money by showing us fake dreams to grow our money.
You can read here - https://bitzamp.com/australias-financial-regulator-issues-warning-to-cryptocurency-investors/   how only in Australia the amount of scam has increased related to crypto last year.
ICO 2.0 really might change things.
175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How is it possible to hack someone's account? on: February 24, 2018, 11:32:46 AM
We store most of our data in our phones or online in some cloud based storage. And there are numerous ads while we are surfing on the internet. And if by any chance the ad has some virus or is put up by an hacker. He can easily ge our IP address by which he can get into our phones and collect all the stored information in it. Everything! And that is how most of our wallets or accounts get hacked!
176  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to know before the Dump? on: February 24, 2018, 11:28:51 AM
The only thing you can do to protect yourself from loss is that after investing, have fixed profit percentage after which you will sell that coin when the coin pumps to a particular value. And if you're investing for a long term then you must consider the tops cryptos like bitcoin an ethereum. Because all these new coins which have their ICOs are not as promising as the others whih are already in the market. Risk factor is high in ICOs.
177  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin will have a price of $50000 on: February 23, 2018, 11:29:13 AM
50k is a pretty huge number. It doesn't seems impossible after a country like Russia legalising it and may there's more to come ahead. Maybe more countries might also start supporting bitcoin like Russia did. That'll definitely boost up its price and help it reach 50k.
But on the other hand, 50k is really high, not saying that it's not possible, it's just that not this year. Maybe in a couple of years we might see bitcoin reach that high or even this year (of course if it gets more support).
178  Economy / Speculation / Re: Have the fees gone down? on: February 23, 2018, 11:21:55 AM
The bitcoin transaction fee depends upon the traffic of transactions received in a particular time. That means if there are a lot of people making transactions then that increases the traffic affecting the fee and results in the increase in the transaction fee. Whereas if the traffic of the fee is less, the fee will be less.
As there was seen a significant fall in the transfer of bitcoin in the last few months the fee also has decreased quite a lot.
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your favourite ongoing/upcoming ICOs on: February 23, 2018, 06:13:40 AM
Circle (crc). Its running ICO S4 that is the 4th sale of this coin. It is erc20 based and has goals to provide solutions to the digital financial world. And allow the investors to increase their investments just be earning profits. 1 CRC is priced around 1.75$ in the s4 ico. They will also start their internal exchange program in which you can sell your crc back to them IF you don't want to hold their coin at 1 crc= 6.25$(as they said earlier but due to dumpers they can reduce it to 2.75$). Or you can just lend your crc and get 1% profit on you lended amount daily!

180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: trying to figure out the ups and downs of bitcoin on: February 23, 2018, 04:55:28 AM
Demand and supply of anything causes its price to fluctuate and makes that currency volatile. Now if the demand is affected by say for example a country bans bitcoin completely, that'll affect the demand and demand will decrease resulting in decrease in price of bitcoin and say a country legalized bitcoin and allowed mining too (like Russia did) that helps the supply increase and people there also start demanding it and thats what increases the price.
And one of the reasons for bitcoin to exist was that each individual has total control over his money and by making a maturity date might just ruin that reason. So it is just fine as it is doing now. And all we can do is hope that it does better in the coming future!
