Best place to ask about a BCH/electrum issue.
I just sent some BCH to shape shift as i have done before many times and my electrum wallet has been emptied. The outputs of the transaction show the ones going to the shapeshift wallet and the remainder going to an unknown address.
How is this possible
Please any advice as quick as possible would be appreciated.
Thanks

Anyone had any luck in claiming shit coins?
I was looking after my own BCH and BTG and have just come back to it and feel there must be a service that does all the work for you that has built up some trust already.
What i am after is giving the private keys to someone for a wallet that has had BTC, BCH and BTG removed and then them giving me back all the value in shitcoins back in BTC. (minus a fee obviously)
Anyone have any experience with something like this?
Thanks

I seem to be struggling to sweep my BCH from my wallet after removing the BTC.
I have electrum on one computer and electron cash on another so there should be no interfering with each others data. My electron cash transaction history is a little strange in the sense that since the 16h November all the transactions say unverified. Before that they worked fine and I know that even though they say unverified they did work as I was sending some BCH to shape shift to convert to BTC, which i recieved.
The issue is I have just swept a wallet with BTC into electrum and after waiting for confirmations tried to do it to electron cash which did not work. I get the message--
No Inputs Found. (Note that inputs need to be confirmed).
Any ideas?

A few days ago I swept a paper wallet onto Trezor. There was a moment when all I could get it to do was some gibberish about magic characters. I properly shit myself for about five minutes before it worked. I think the lead was a bit faulty.

I need to be honest about something.
I didn't wear my hat today.
I did a bad thing.
I will not do it again.

How low will we go? Will we see early 2017 prices before the end of the year? Very likely. Will Bitcoin Cash finally take its rightful place at the throne? Good possibility, prepare your orders.

I promised myself I would buy myself a present at 10k So I bought this....it arrived yesterday Since I've been wearing it we've been moving at more than 2k a day. It's not coming off. We'll all know the reason if BTC crashes... I'm sleeping in it tonight

At least a good chunk of this volume is real. I've personally helped 5 people set up wallets and coinbase accounts in the last week. I spend a lot of time kitesurfing among an international mix of community where we have not much else to talk about but wind, waves and most recently the conversation has turned to BTC and how to get in. The buzz is real but I still suspect a short is being planned. January-February perhaps?
Absolutely. All the people I spoke to about btc in 2013 are now getting in touch to ask how to buy. THIS IS GENTLEMEN. Hold onto your hats. Same. Only one mate bought with me back then. They rest are saying 'wish i bought some when you told me too' type stuff. They are starting to buy as I type this. I have had 5 or 6 people ask me to help them with setting up a wallet this week alone. People that knew that I was involved but they still came to me rather than the other way around. I have told them that 1-2% of their savings should be in BTC. If they lose it they can recover and if it goes 100x then win. When I tell them I'm 90% they look at me like I'm crazy. Maybe I am.

Time machine this. The halvening is only 3 years away. How many of us will still be hodling their current stash?
I will still maintain 70% of my current stash by 2020. I think 30% is the most I am happy to part with before 50k
