161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It's Time to Buy Alt Coin on: February 27, 2018, 05:10:11 AM
Look at the price, what's happening, it's all affect of hard forking, which will be happening in 3rd week of October. But now we can see the reaction of the market. Just wait couple of days more, All Alt coin price will hit rock bottom. It is good chance to buy or invest in alt coin, if you want to get into few new coins.

some alts will be raising, it is clear completely. for example NEO and LTC or ETH. these are main alts and when BTC is calm they will raising
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin on: February 27, 2018, 03:02:16 AM
In the next year ETH will overtake BTC as the number 1 cryptocurrency.  I would unload your bitcoin while you still can.

ETH will the king of market soon or late, it has so many tokens, and ICOs use ETH substrate to launching all of this show that ETH will go to the moon.
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange or Wallet? on: February 25, 2018, 10:59:34 AM
I have a question.

What is better? To keep your coins on some Exchange site or to open wallets for each coin?

I would like to hear some advice.  What are pros & cons of each option?

Thanks

of course, wallet is better than exchange for long-term holding, but if you want to trade you must hold your coins in Exchanges. you must determine your gold, holding or trading?
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptopia SCAM on: February 24, 2018, 02:20:16 AM
Watch out for Cryptopia!!!!
I have traded many times at different exchanges but at Cryptopia: now no credit 3 times in a row.
They steal your money!
They do not credit your account and do NOT respond at Twitter or email.

do not wary, in last week their withdraw system had been very slow. so try to connect with the support they will help you.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I sell my Bitcoin Cash? on: February 23, 2018, 03:33:18 AM
Hi people. I have 0.31 right now, the value of Bitcoin Cash is not really looking good at the moment, if you were me would you sell or hold?
Thanks for any constructive opinion.

check the chart, a market is bloody now. if you do not need your money i suggest to hold your coins after Feb; the market will rise again.
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IOTA a best investment to put $1000? on: February 23, 2018, 03:28:50 AM
I've 250 IOTA tokens bought in  November under $1 and for some reason never thought of buying more as there isn't much going on with it. Also there are some doubts on tangle technology as no projects has been built on its platform. At same time many still believe 2018 will be the biggest year for IOTA.

Started to thinking whether to buy more Iota with $1000 or invest the amount to increase positions  in to ITC and ICON. What do you guys suggest?

IOTA is good project but it's wallets has some problems and bug, so I can not invest on coin with low security. it may be hacked. so i will invest in some other safe coins
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is the future of crypto, bitcoin is not. on: February 23, 2018, 12:14:34 AM
ETH will allow $2T of underground economy to become more structured (and possibly less underground) through DAOs.
http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/wonkblog/wp/2013/04/23/americas-2-trillion-shadow-economy-is-the-recessions-big-winner/

If it captures 1% of that $2T, it is equivalent to $20B, which would put ETH somewhere around $150. Those who sell for $2 will shit bricks, eat sand and may even commit suicide in the years to come. If it captures 10% of that ETH will be $1500. I know it sounds crazy, but so did the Internet in 1995.

Once it's launched their main focus will be on scalability, which I think is the real reason crypto is not ready for mainstream. Once they can handle 100K TPS (and I'm sure they will), it's game over.

about 6 month ago I bought some ETH and change all of my bitcoins to ETH, because I saw ETH will growth more than BTC, and now I think it is better than BTC for it's service.
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Easy mineable coins - 2018 ? on: February 22, 2018, 09:43:01 AM
Hello Guys,

I have question - do you know about easy - mineable coins for ordinary deskop PC cor CPU mining ? (intel cores i5 / i7)

Low difficulty,easy find block,etc...

Example: Turtle coins (TRTL)

Thx

ETN is now good for mining, take in your mind please: consider profit of mining and not amount of mining in each coin.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Missing Mining rewards from NICEHASH on: February 22, 2018, 09:40:07 AM
Hi
I have a small query. I rented 0.25 Th/s hashing power at Nicehash and pointed it to a DASH mining server. I mined for 24 hours but did not get anything in my wallet.

COIN - DASH

Algorithm: X11
Pool Difficulty >=16
Stratum + tcp:// p2pool.org
Port : 9332
Username: Xr4Xqmb2zy77z9TxzLBGEiqRe9DTys5Rpb
Password: xoxo

1.   Is the configuration correct.
2.   Where can I see my progress / payments

Its been more than 4 days and i have not received any DASH in my wallet

Can someone please advise

some weeks ago, Nice hash hacked and maybe it has bugs (https://icobench.wordpress.com/2017/12/09/60-million-hacked-from-nicehash/) please be aware to admins fix the site and do not pariticipiate in this pool until they fix the site
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Any CPU mineable coin that it is profitable? on: February 22, 2018, 06:46:37 AM
Do you happen to know of any cryptocurrency that it is only mineable with a CPU, and also being the most profitable nowadays?

I've been mining Coin Magi, but due to its algorithm, (in which the more hashrate the network has, the less reward) it somewhat limits the ability to profit from it at all.

I have an Intel Core i5 3rd generation CPU with 4 cores, installed on a spare desktop PC that I have at my place. So, I would like to know which CPU mineable coin would you recommend me, to make a profit from it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Smiley

you can mine monero but it is not enough and cost gained fro you. so try to buy some GPU for your system. and for more information, you can check below post to it is about GPU mining

172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: New merit give away thread. For alt coin mining. on: February 21, 2018, 04:36:08 AM
I am going to try this again.

Last one was derailed.

Very simple rules I am giving away 24 merits.  None to heroes none to legendary.
I self modded thread as the last one was hijacked by one person and a second person attempted to fight a battle against him.

So here goes impress me with your older posts just ask for a point I will go back and read your posts.  If I like them I will give you a merit point.

Once I give away 24 points I will close thread.

in below topic I try to describe XRM mining for newbies and try to explain all of parts of XRM mining. please pay any advice or tips forward.so please check

173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Comprehensive Monroe Mining Guide, Introduction to Monero Extraction Devices on: February 21, 2018, 04:34:25 AM
GNI

I decide to explain XRM mining for you, so I wrote this guide. this topic will be updated in 2 or 3 days, because; I will spend more time to describe XRM mining completely.

Monero (XRM) is a digital currency based on the CryptoNote algorithm based on Ring Signatures. The Ring Digest allows Monero to create significant privacy when doing a transaction.
Monero uses Proof of Work to produce a new Quinn. Monero can be extracted using the processing power of GPUs and CPUs. There are currently no specific ASICs for Monero.
Monero mining can be done with home systems, but you should not expect to be profitable. So for Monero's extraction, you need to use relatively powerful hardware and systems.

These days, using graphics cards is a better way than the processor. In the process of extraction with the graphics card, the speed is increased and costs are greatly reduced.

In general, Monro's cost-effective extraction process is as follows:

1- Providing a powerful hardware system or extraction rack
2. Create Monero wallets to extract extracted Monero
3. Start extraction by running the required software and joining the pool extraction
Gather hardware and install the operating system

Extracting is possible with home computer systems, but it is not at all cost-effective. Monero extraction is possible with CPU and GPU or graphic cards.

The miner's extraction with the CPU is almost outdated, and today miners are more likely to use graphics cards to extract Ethereum, Lightweight, and, of course, Monero. So, we've also provided graphics extraction training for you.

To extract Monero's cost-effective extraction, you should have a graphics card extractor. Rig means a pack of hardware. The graphics card is actually the same as a home-office case but with a high-end graphics card.

You can buy extracted pebbles in the ready form or collect and assemble parts yourself.

one simple rig is shown in below image

In general, a extraction sand includes the following parts:
1. Powerful graphics cards
The main part of the Rig extraction is its graphics card. You need a powerful graphics card to extract Monroe. AMD graphics are better than Nvidia graphics.

Amd Readon Rx series, is currently the best graphics card model for extraction. The RX580 and RX480 are good graphics cards for this model. You can use a variety of graphics cards, but you need to get some powerful graphics cards instead of buying a lot of low-end graphics cards. Also, note that all your graphics cards are branded. For example, choose either amd or all nvidia.
By searching for any graphics card on the Internet, you can get its hash, and then extract its approximate profit by importing it into the Cryptocompare site's calculator.

Note: The hash of any graphics card varies in different algorithms. Monroe is extracted from the CryptoNight algorithm, which is a subset of CryptoNote. For example, the RX580's graphics card has a hash of 600H / S in the Monroe's algorithm, and has an output power of about 23Mh / s in the etherium algorithm. Be careful not to make mistakes in calculating profits.

Also, by visiting the NiceHash site and the profitability-calculator section, you can get your approximate profit by selecting any hardware.

https://www.cryptocompare.com/mining/calculator/xmr?HashingPower=500&HashingUnit=H%2Fs&PowerConsumption=200&CostPerkWh=0.12&MiningPoolFee=1

2. Chassis

The chassis is a means for mounting the pieces of sand on it. You can make a chassis ready or you can build it yourself. The chassis should be such that the parts, especially the graphics, do not screw in well on it and are not unbalanced.

https://image.ibb.co/kUSDyH/chsee.jpg

3. Powerful power supply
Take this section very seriously to prevent damage. For home systems, a power supply of 300-500 watts is sufficient. But for some graphics cards, you need power or powerful power. For example, for six powerful graphics, a 1200W wakeup is required in the PlusGold version. Be sensitive to picking up pigeons when picking up pegs and consult expert staff.

.
4 RAM

Extraction does not require much RAM. A 4GB DDR3 RAM is enough. If you want to do more than extract from your system, you can get a 8GB RAM.
5- CPU

For extraction with graphics cards, the CPU is not very powerful. An average CPU is connected to your motherboard.
6. SSD drive

7. Cables needed
8. motherboard
9. Internet Adsl + Modem

Extracting to the Internet does not require too much, but it's important to be stable and uncertain. The best type of Internet to extract Adsl Internet is that, if you have a fixed telephone line, you can activate your Adsl service via private telecommunications or private companies. Internet speed is 2 to 4 megabytes for extraction.

10-Monroe Web Wallet

MyMonero

Best Monroe Extraction Pools
Two MinerGate and SupportXRM extraction pools are currently the best and most used Monroe extraction pools. The first one has a bit more work, but its simple interface makes it easy to get started with a few extra clicks. The latter is less costly and more professional, but the connection method is a bit difficult for beginners.

Power consumed
The power consumption of the graphics cards is very high, so some of the extracted profits will be spent on electricity.

174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEO, TRON or IOTA? on: February 18, 2018, 08:18:47 PM
I agree with Neo buying for long-term, but IOTA has not a safe wallet.
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange or Wallet? on: February 18, 2018, 08:16:21 PM
of course, the wallet is better than exchange for holding. If you hold ur coins in exchanges ur money will be at risk, see some exchanges clients messages in twitter then you can see wallet is very safer than exchanges.
176  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Autotraders for newbs on: February 18, 2018, 03:20:29 AM
Hey all,

I haven't started yet with cryptocurrency, but I will be soon. I've looked in to a lot of options on how to make BTC and autotrading sounds great. Instead of just holding on to crypto (which requires 0 effort but you never earn more than the coins you started with) or manually trading (where you can get more crypto than you started but you have to spend all day watching currency exchange rates), you can let a bot do the trading for you and only intervene if you hear something in the news... Almost no work AND you earn coin...

However, I've only found a few mentioned on this forum (C.A.T and GUNBOT), and they cost several hundred USD and are closed-source.  Sounds scammy...

Google isn't too helpful either. The only FLOSS crypto trading bots I've found are Zenbot and Gekko, but they both report "losing money" as outstanding bugs.

I think the best option seems to be https://cryptotrader.org/, since they have a large selection of free algorithms. I'm planning to try using them when I start next month and I'll let you know how it goes.

My questions are:

1: Has anybody here used cryptotrader? Would you recommend it? How much profit did you make?

2: Any tips on using other autotraders? Do they work?

3: Can we get a sticky somewhere comparing the most popular autotraders?

Thanks!

PS: First post... Happy to be here!  Grin

I try to describe you simply. cryptocurrencies is not depended on technical only! some other parameters effect on the prices. for example, when china banned exchanges activity, the BTC crash had been so huge, and any auto traders bots could not predicate the price. so:
1- I had been used Auto traders  but I damaged; when am be a newbie. I do not recommend for you
2- see the Fate of Bitconnect project, they used auto trader.
3- yes, only Learn technical be inside fundamental trading.
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which wallet should I use? on: February 18, 2018, 02:40:41 AM
Which wallet do you re recommend most? Or trusted?

It is depends on many factors like; type of your coins, type of you access and your goal so frist you must answer this questions:

1- what is your coins?
If you have BTC you can hold it in the main desktop wallet of BTC; so you must download a huge file.
2- how can you want to access your wallet?
If you want only hold ur coins; you do not need to access your assets per second so the main desktop wallet is good. but if you want to pay something with your coins mobile wallets is so good.
3- what is your goal from coin holding?
someone use their coins for trade if so you must use exchanges wallet but. some exchanges are not secure.

you can also search before opening a topic and see this topic
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2856348.0

I will write a general and important article about this issue and announce you
178  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cheapest electricity in the world on: February 17, 2018, 07:32:12 PM
I am wondering which countries in the world have the cheapest electricity, and would thus be ideal for mining bitcoins.

I am from Australia, and I can tell you that we have some of the most overpriced electricity in the world, meaning I will probably need to go overseas if i want to mine competitively.

Venezuela has cheapest electricity energy in the world but U can use the Energy of Sun if you want to trade "sollar plans"
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exodus Wallet Question on: February 17, 2018, 07:30:25 PM
Hi!

If I want to participate in an ICO such as Faceter, and they need an Ethereum address that is ERC20 compatible, would Exodus be a viable wallet. Facter provides a note below where they say 'Do not use your cryptoexchange ETH wallet address or ETH address created with Ethereum client with no access to private key.'

My question is: is Exodus Eth address a viable choice to provide to Faceter?

Tldr: haelp im noob

it is maybe risky process. I you want to be aware from risks you can use https://myetherwallet.com. it is safe and support all tokens
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Rival to IOTA on: February 16, 2018, 10:43:11 PM
