161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Last Bitcoin Supper painting goes up for auction! on: July 11, 2014, 06:11:28 AM
I would like to get a poster as well if it were available. I have added this to my watch list, it will be interesting to see how much it fetches for. Good luck
162  Economy / Speculation / Re: The day that could make us all millionaires! on: July 11, 2014, 06:06:10 AM
I have a few alts I would love to skyrocket but the chances are slim. I think long term plans should just be to hold and see what happens. Millions per coin, I highly doubt it but we can dream i suppose.
163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Bitcoin enthusiasts use IRC? and why? on: July 11, 2014, 03:50:17 AM
I still use IRC for multiple things including BTC, reprap, hackerspaces, arduino. Most channels I use are on freenode. As far as BNC servers go most people including myself are just using a raspberry pi setup. Its cheap, uses little power and pretty reliable.
164  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin Addresses Need to Go on: July 11, 2014, 03:30:52 AM
When I deal with bigger amounts. (Big for me is anything over .1 lol.) I tend to double check the first and last few characters just to make sure its correct after pasting. Its never not been correct but the first time I don't check will be the first time I send coin to the wrong address. Its just my luck Smiley
165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has officially become the one world currency on: July 11, 2014, 03:25:43 AM
I could see a crypto becoming a world standard. However with the speed that it takes for confirmations I think something else will take its place that has a faster confirmation system. Until then I will just enjoy what we have.

167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have officially made it into the 100 Bitcoin club on: July 11, 2014, 12:27:40 AM
Very aggressive crowd here on Bitcointalk. It's like a 24/7 business meeting.

What are the membership priviledges of being in the Bitcoin 100 Club?
Blockchain confirmation time gets cut in half for your wallet.

I never knew this. Do you have to have a specific wallet to get this perk? For example if I have received 100btc to my electrum would that be eligible?
168  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PBmining - legit? on: July 11, 2014, 12:16:53 AM
I bought into this a few days ago. I only bought 100 GH/s because I have this feeling that I wont really make anything on it. In fact I would be happy to see just break even in 5yrs. It all depends on the difficulty not increasing drastically I think. This term it doesn't look like it is predicted to be a big increase so I shouldn't see a big drop per day. If we get a few terms with bog increases I may not have any chance to ever make it back. Either way it will be an experience that I will learn from one way or the other.
169  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ►SteamGamesBTC.com◄ SUMMER SALE LIVE! Steam Games, Wallet Cards, Huge list on: July 10, 2014, 05:10:26 AM

To be honest, I'm afraid from them.

I don't trust them.
171  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Osama = Obama on: July 04, 2014, 12:58:11 AM
You are right. Obama is the one who made Osama, to be more precise, I mean the CIA here.

Do you BUY or SELL or BOTH as a Wholesale ?
177  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Free unlimited electricity... where to start? on: June 15, 2014, 06:58:02 PM
So with my rig it wouldn't be worth getting into mining at all (unless upgrading/buying new equipment?)

It's too late for GPU mining now.

You can try with altcoins, as it will be more profitable.

Then, you could exchange LTC for BTC.
178  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell all of your Ghash Coins before next $400 - $300 crash on: June 15, 2014, 06:55:03 PM
It seems shit is about to begin.

Before I write this, I was daydreaming about how we reached this, but we did.

I will keep watching what the days will bring us.
179  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Merchants accepting BTC on: June 15, 2014, 06:50:23 PM
Someone from another thread mentioned going to Meet-ups and networking there. That seems like the best way to make an impact as the people you meet most likely are from your area.

Really the only other way of advertising that I can think of is to blog and contact websites, newspapers and magazines. Also, put your company into as many Merchant Directories as possible.

We can host webinars, conferences, expos.

Something like E3 and these sort of expos.
180  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin Trading Game (NEW IDEA) on: June 15, 2014, 06:49:02 PM
That's a good idea.

Yes please, what is ETA for the beta ?

No exact date but if i work about 3 hours everyday id say maybe 7days time..

I will be around here, just take your time.

Quality is what matters in the end.
