161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How would you view an ICO project if it was launched by an accredited lawyer? on: June 10, 2020, 08:05:27 PM
Hey there everyone,

Just a curious question on the perception differences between a regular ICO and one that was run by an accredited lawyer - would that make a difference to you as in investor?

In the past, at the height of the ICO investment craze, I know that name dropping companies and "respected" individuals as advisors would almost be enough to convince investors who didn't know better.

Moreover, now there's a greater shift towards IEOs for scam prevention purposes with counter-party checks.

Just a curious question! Share your thoughts!

P.S. Yeah, I was one of those who invested in an ICO project called JET8 that currently has an ROI of -99.8% haha shoutout to anyone who flushed their money down this way.

It will not make much difference atleast for a person or lay-man like me and majority of other investors here, yes it could impact positively among legal fraternity but still you have to convince them too about your project and they could respect you because you are professional from their own department.
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need advice, there are plans to launch tokens, tied to exchange trading. on: June 10, 2020, 07:42:37 PM
Hello everyone! Need advice, there are plans to launch tokens, tied to exchange trading. That is, the price should be correlated with the performance of the trading account. You can leave the links you come across, or be familiar with the subject, what opportunities are there for this, how you can make a link, justify it, and legal aspects. I would be grateful for any advice.

I would suggest you to first trade that account for 3 to 6 months, show people your performance, provide them with trackable and verifiable trading results, then present them with your AUM and NAV value of your account and the increase in NAV every month, these stats will give the investors a rough idea about your trading capabilities and if found good they will invest in your token in hope of stable returns but only if you are doing well, no one will invest with you blindly.

I am pretty much this was because of fat fingers, but how an earth there's no security measures for this kind of thing? It's 2020 already and after seeing this kind of mistakes, i am pretty sure that ETH adoption is further away. Just one warning message informing about the possible huge mistake could have saved millions for this guy.
This obviously seems like a typing mistake or some confusion otherwise i do not think any sane person will uselessly pay millions for a small transaction, maybe the whale would be drunk at the time of transaction, whatever but people need to be serious about these things.
To counter such errors i think eth network should have a function of refund where they see that fee paid is unusually high.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects willing choosing bad exchanges? on: June 09, 2020, 08:54:35 PM
What's up with new projects this days? Why are developers choosing p2pb2b, vindax and Latoken for there IEO nowadays? Every single IEO I see or should I say 90% of new projects are choosing these exchanges for fund raising even when they know there chance are slim....I don't just get it, are they willing choosing these exchanges?
I do not know why after crypto market has grown so big and mass adoption is around the corner still we have so less options of quality exchange platforms especially IEO launchpad platforms as market only takes 2 or 3 launchpads as a guarantee of success while we need many more because there are dozens of projects lined up to launch, the only solution is that we should have more options and i think the number of quality ieo launchpad platforms is low at the moment and we should atleast need 20 to 25 quality platforms or some low reputed platforms can take advantage and investor can lose which is not the scenario community wants.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whales are busy accumulating Ethereum, but Analysts claim it’ll fall. on: June 09, 2020, 08:43:08 PM
It’s been reported that whales are busy accumulating Ethereum and other crypto’s, but Analysts are also busy claiming that Ethereum prices will tank and I feel those Analysts are wrong. The key reason why I believe those Analysts are wrong is because Reddit is in the process of adopting Ethereum, and due to Reddit’s adoption suddenly millions of Reddit’s users will buy/hodl Ethereum which in turn will shoot it’s prices upwards. What are your thoughts on those Analysts claim, do you think that they’re right and Ethereum prices will actually tank?.

Everyone has the right to have his own opinion and analysis especially when it comes to the price of a certain coin but personally i am super bullish for eth, i mean you can check and confirm that both fundamentally and technically eth is nicely placed and is due for massive run, i will not be surprised if eth reaches new high price by years end.
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Trading on exchanges inside your very own wallet on: June 04, 2020, 11:34:05 PM
If traders and holders can trade on Exchange in their wallet that they own the private keys it will reduce exchange hacks, I'm not talking about dex because this idea is better than DEX, I know some wallets like coinomi and atomic support insta swap using external platforms like shapeshift or uniswap kinda but just think about it

This is something I'm looking forward to, while many might think it's impossible I think it's damn possible, what do you think
I think various new wallets have this option of swapping and exchanging that you are talking about even trust wallet has that option but yes there are not many coins listed for this option so may be they need to work on that and add as many coins as possible, the ideal case scenario would be to add all coins and tokens that are tradable but then again it can not be as easy as it seems because not all coins have buyers and the wallet service has to sellthe coins to someone too.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Alert] extstock - Fake volume on: June 04, 2020, 11:17:04 PM
Recently we were surprise by ExtStock exchange with many altcoin pumps. I think this is fake because it is not natural in the pump so that this pump makes a lot of attention, especially beginners who yesterday joined the XT airdrop from this exchange themselves.

Many say that this exchange cannot withdraw alias in the freeze I hope you as a beginner to avoid this exchange.

ExtStock" Exchange listing token with Fake team & plagiarized whitepaper.  by Coolcryptovator

New exchanges simply cannot be trusted unless proven otherwise after test of time and user reviews, i also hate all these fake volumes used by such exchanges to manipulate volume and attract users, i think bot trading and fake orders should be completely banned as this is nothing but deceiving the community.
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum planning to take over??? on: June 04, 2020, 10:46:15 PM
Ethereum poised to potentially outperform top crypto coins in near future, with the way I'm sensing things it seem ethereum is becoming more bullish by every minutes, here are few questions for you crypto lovers

1. Can Ethereum take over?
2. What will happen after the POS upgrade?
3. How do you see the 32Eth requirements for staking?

Well it was always on the cards and personally i was suggesting my friends to buy and accumulate eth as much as they can as it looks to be standing at most potentially profitable asset in the market because it came down from high of 1400 to down of 80 only, now i think anything under 500 is still a good price for eth and i am super bullish about the upcoming events for eth network.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Devs please have some respect on: June 03, 2020, 10:44:02 PM
No one can blame bounty huntere because bounty hunters work for the rewards and when they receive the rewards after the campaign end it is their property and it is their own sole decision to hold or sell and they have equal right just like investors so even if hunters dump the price they cannot be blamed because they have done everything in a rightful manner.
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop blaming bounty hunters on: June 03, 2020, 10:18:37 PM
The crypto space has experienced so many bullies, and it has been mostly attributed to bounty hunters. Whenever there is a dump; people raise fingers, and attack hunters as the cause of the dumps.

But when you consider most recently hybrix token; the investors got their dividends, and they boldly dumped the token from 3.5$ to 0.5$.
This reinforce claims that no matter how much bounty hunters earn; it is not enough to close down the trade market of crypto coins.
I think it depends from campaign to campaign and project to project sometimes dump is brought about by the selling of bounty rewards especially when the bounty rewards are big enough because many hunters rush to sell irrespective of market condition, project phase and price.
In your campaign definitely hunters are not involved as i have studied the campaign and reward was very small and also that was not distributed to hunters so clearly the market dump was brought about by investors and traders.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever got it wrong? on: June 03, 2020, 09:55:42 PM
I have come to a conclusion that we might need to reflect on the past at times to set the future right. What brought about this conclusion?
I have had so many negative experiences in some things in life which cryptocurrency is inclusive. I kept asking myself why? but there was no answer to that until I finally found the energy to reflect on my past history involving those things which cryptocurrency is one of them. Reflecting on the past helped me to traced my wrong steps which eventually was corrected and results began to roll in. To put an end to that negative experience, maybe you just need to reflect on the past. In case you are on average, you can still reflect on the past to be above average.
Ups and downs are part of life and in money terms too i would say you win some and you lose some there is no straight path, sometimes its your good times and you come out as winner in everything you do and similarly when you hit the bad patch it seems like everything you do is putting you in trouble, try to learn from your mistakes, stay contented and move on life will be easy.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES - Complete Blockchain ecosystem for a token economy on: May 31, 2020, 08:45:47 PM
Lol is this shitcoin ever going to do anything or just stay manipulated...

Gayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
It's still kicking and under top 100.

The exchange they own is doing good for bitcoin trades.

They should have at least run a signature campaign for the introduction of their exchange. Even if they change to waves.exchange, I don't think many traders are using it. The only consolation is they are still active in this thread but they lack good promotion to the community.
I think it was good way to promote it, but as far as I remember they ever did it in the past, holding a signature campaign to get more people attention on waves project, but there were many mistakes and negative responses from the participants.
I think if there is a signature campaign, then people will know it quickly but they should hire a reputable manager to do this. Personally, I would love to participate in well-developed bounty campaigns because it's often an opportunity to make money for bounty hunters here and if you're lucky you can still make good profits from the project.
Yup, signature campaigns do provide quality and targetted exposure to both the new and established crypto projects but i have seen established projects offering such campaigns with a very small budget i would just like to say that such strategy can be counter productive.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Rentberry ICO Update on: May 28, 2020, 10:07:13 PM
Actually they have almost raised the amount of funds they were looking for successfully which is not good they should have been held accountable for the previous ico funds first, it is anew trend now that some projects from 2 to 3 years ago that raised millions in their icos are now ditching the ico investors and looking for new alternative funds and disowning previous money that they raised which is criminal act.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does marketcap value shows the coin price stability? on: May 28, 2020, 09:36:19 PM
In crypto info websites, a crypto's marketcap value is an aggregated amount taken from various exchanges. It has been known that altcoins with a smaller marketcap can be subject to price manipulation by controlling the supply. Therefore, price stability may not necessarily rely upon the marketcap. Instead, the market value from daily transactions and trade volume can show possible trends in the future, but even this shows no certainty for price stability.

I think liquidity and buy sell orders provide better data that may help to check market demand, price and stability, if a coin has low liquidity that simply means that traders and investors are not giving much attention to that coin and there can be big gaps while buying or selling such coins personally i like to trade only highly liquid pairs.
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Timing to Hodl tokens is very important. on: May 27, 2020, 11:47:20 PM
A lot people argue about if it is better to hodl on the long term or the short term neglecting the most important thing.
The timing with which you have to hodl your tokens or investment is very important, to ensure you do not rekt.

For every token, there is a time to hodl, and time not too, figure out the timing before investment.

It is easier to say these things rather than actually implement it, after last peak many people started buying the dip in hope for market to again move up but we have seen market coming down and down and people getting rekt everytime, i still think that if you have got in cheap hodling is the best policy especially if you are in for long run.
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 10 Most Burned ERC-20 Tokens on: May 27, 2020, 11:30:33 PM
Burning only benefits the token holder or investors if it takes place with the revenue of the project every month or quarter and it is done by purchasing the tokens from the market and then burned, burning from their own company holds or excess tokens is not going to nenefit the community alot and it will just be a symbolic event nothing more.
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think renBTC will gain adoption? on: May 27, 2020, 10:04:29 PM
I am not a fan of projects utilizing the name of btc in any form, perhaps for their own sales, investments or profits, actually the original one is what matters and till btc is up for me i will not be interested anything using name of btc to get attention.

179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: CoinMarketCap Changes - Broken the Trust of the Crypto Community? on: May 20, 2020, 07:12:23 PM
Obviously they have acquired cmc so they will manipulate and use it somewhat for their own benefit as well, obviously they want to make back their invested money fast but personally i do not have any problem with cmc yet and i am using it as i was doing before binance taking over it and i will keep using it unless they start doing something silly.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Receive $300 (30000 CNG tokens) just by registration before May 20 on: May 20, 2020, 06:47:21 PM
I do not understand what is the need to provide the tokens for free,i mean if the exchange and project is good investors will be attracted to buy the tokens themselves those too in large numbers, this is nothing more than just a market tactic to me also i think this is not the right section to post about airdrops so i think it needs to be moved to appropriate section.
