161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading Strategy on: November 29, 2017, 06:49:21 PM
A smart move was if you were buying some coins with great potential from small exchanges before they get liquidity and whales put their hands on. Start small, learn from your mistakes and keep trading.  To hold one coin for a very long time is not nesseserly the best choice as a trader. For top altcurrencies after 20-30 % gain exit then enter again at lower price.  If you follow this strategy and throw small percentage on less popular currencies you'll can build up a descent capital.
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SingularityNET on: November 29, 2017, 08:44:46 AM
Very excited for this project...could change the future as we know it. A strong team and gaining a support quickly!
Me too mate. Can you imagine a platform for Als were they could interact through APIs like synapses? What a clever idea.  I'm pretty sure about AGI's success. Like you said their team is strong.😊
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SingularityNET on: November 28, 2017, 08:01:24 PM
Great news everybody. SingularityNET token sale has been announced.
Targeted sale date: December 8th, 2017 through their official website.
50% = 500 000 000 AGI will be distributed to to public. There isn't any pre-sale announced so far, although there will be a 4% of the total supply reserved for bounty program.  I presume it will be published here on the childboard of altcoin discussion in the coming days. Thumbs up.  Wink
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin's future on: November 28, 2017, 04:14:04 PM
I myself wouldn't call Litecoin as silver to BTC any longer. However there is a use for LTC as a testcoin. For a long term investment it's an excellent choice in my opinion. The creator Charlie Lee spends about 95% of his time working on Bitcoin projects.  He claims “that in order for Litecoin to succeed, Bitcoin must first become adopted by the mass”.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Is Really A Good Investment or Not? on: November 27, 2017, 07:55:11 PM
If you have a good knowledge and understanding about cryptocurrency and marketing strategy you'll be able to identify a potential ICO otherwise you easily  can loose your investment. If you not in a hurry and missing  these skill sets you can invest into popular altcoins  like Etherium or Litecoin. These are steady and slow growth assets what gives you enough time to digg deeper before you go ahead and participate ICOs
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Should I do as a newbie? on: November 27, 2017, 07:38:11 PM
If you want to earn bitcoin go for altcoins first..When it comes to altcoins you need to do your research because this is the wild wild west. If you found a project you believe in check out if you can join their bounty program to earn free coins that way. Each campaigns have different criteria so make sure you following their rules to be qualified. As a new starter I wouldn't recommend you to buy and trade these assets. Until you earned your free tokens you'd see the behaviour of the market and make conclusions.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SIGT- Will Signatum rise? on: November 25, 2017, 04:17:15 PM
You know signatum market cap so bad after POS. What is your opinion. will it rise again or continue to down?
Unfortunately,  SIGT was a big failure. There is a swap possibility 4:1 ratio to Straks favour thou. It will take 6 years to comply these translations I'm affraid.  There is a lot of noise regarding to this swapping issue. I'm glad to sell mine close to 500 satoshis. I'll never touch Straks for sure. I strongly recommend to stay away from these risky projects.
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your biggest regrets in cryptocurrency? on: November 25, 2017, 10:21:23 AM
Back in 2013 I bought 100 LTC for £200 on eBay before they banned them completely. I wish I bought 10x more. Missed the boat of BTC early 2015 when was traded for $200 for the last time.  There were other alts like ETH or Ripple were I could've kept more ,but paid the price for my lessons and happy for being a  part of the revolutionary blockchain innovation. I'm participating in ICOs and bounty campaigns to reach the top with the rest of you.  Wink
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost 80% of my bitcoins in alts, What can I do now?! on: November 25, 2017, 10:00:36 AM
You have great altcoins to keep. In cryptoland you'll see a lot more like this happening. Long term is the keyes in most competitive altcoins. Hardfolks of BTC created a temporary loss in alts. If you look back charts of older existing cryptos like DOGE ,Monacoin or Reddcoin they had ups and down many times.  DOGE was traded for 200+ satoshis about 6 months ago now down to 23. Although, DOGE has no innovation at all its popularity of low transaction fees gives value to it. Be patient mate to make profit on your coins. Wink
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I want to buy around 1000 coins on: November 24, 2017, 05:14:24 PM
If I want to buy around 1000 coins for lesser amount, which coin should I buy?
If you want to buy cheap coins as a new starter choose at least 3 different type from the top 50. If I were you I would pick EOS, Lisk,Waves or Doge. These are very popular currencies and fairly safe and steady growth investment. Lisk and Waves are a good one to buy in. They are about to skyrocketing.  Wink
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what will happen in Dec ? on: November 22, 2017, 04:28:58 PM
December is the wildest month of crypto-land. It could turn everything upside down. I invested in BTC about the same time in 2013 and turned out I did the best thing in my financial life. Bitcoin went mad and made me double my earning in a couple of weeks.  It is hard to predict the coming weeks since marketcap  is already too high.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing on ico is the smart way to be millioner on: November 22, 2017, 04:15:03 PM
I agree and disagree here. There are two sides to a coin though. ICOs not nesseserly the best way to build your crypto-portfolio here.  Many of them won't even hit the exchanges. Biggest scumbags of 2017 were Swisscoin and Tezos. Firstly mentioned was too obvious with no whitepaper or any kind of information about the devs. Neverless they managed to attract more then $500k. Lastly mentioned was the most successful tokensale campaign in the history of ICOs failed due to a conflict between management. An intelligent investor can be a millionaire that's true.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SingularityNET on: November 21, 2017, 03:11:05 PM

174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you find interesting ICO ? on: November 20, 2017, 05:00:29 PM
Where do you find interesting ICO or crypto projects to invest ? Here on bitcointalk announcements or on other websites related to new ICO  announcements !
Every time I'm looking for a new ICO I end up here. I look into icorating, icoalert and social media. I also click on signatures of unfamiliar projects.I believe to find a great ICO you got to spend quite a bit of time here and digging through the garbage. Unfortunately, there will be more coming to giving us headache to find what we really looking for. Good luck to us all. Wink
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you feel ICOs try to raise too much? on: November 20, 2017, 04:45:42 PM
Hey, I'm interested in everyone's opinions on this. I find so often when looking for ICOs I come across something that sounds like a good idea but then am instantly put off when they all seem to trying to raise 10s of millions for something I would deem could be perfectly possible with only a couple of million or even less.

Do you feel that ICOs tend to try and raise too much? If yes, do you think this is out of greed for their own personal gain or simply because they over estimate the worth of their idea?

Do you feel there is anything we can do as a community to bring expectations back to reality? Other than waiting for ICOs to continually under perform and then eventually expectations adjust?
First of all, thanks for bringing this up for discussion.  I totally agree with you here. I could bring up an example here about Kik' s ICO. A grand total of 178.732 ETH/ $97.5 million. Although they were initially planned to raise  $125 million.  I were following them whey before fundraising and was going to invest , but their greedy ICO changed my mind to go ahead with it. I looked into their whitepaper and portfolio and didn't think it worths as much. I'm sure you can bring up many similar ICOs here with overrated fundraising plans.  These ICOs must be controlled by low. Exscudo will audit all ICOs on EON blockchain in the near future.  I'm looking forward to see the outcome of this.
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bittrex.com SCAM 100% on: November 19, 2017, 12:57:33 PM
I would choose my post more carefully though. Although I don't particularly like Bittrex or any other exchanges in general I've got to say they look after their costumers.  I had to file support tickets a few times before and got them resolved in a professional way.  They may be expensive but give you a top quality service. Sad to see ppl loosing their funds due to lack of 2FA turned on. 2.2 BTC is a very expensive lesson. I'm sorry for your loss mate. Sad
177  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Many Bittrex accounts were hacked on: November 18, 2017, 03:30:33 PM
To be honest I don't trust these centralised exchanges at all. I am one of the lucky ones to managed not to be hacked but been very close twice to loose my funds though. I'm talking about Mt.Gox or BTC-E. I was listening to my elders and took my funds only for a quick trading to an exchange then withdrew them to my cold wallets afterwards.  I'm sorry for all of you who's got hacked and lost your hard earned money.  I can't wait to see Exscudo' s upcoming exchange to solve these security and centralised issues.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best ICO for November on: November 17, 2017, 08:15:05 PM
Cybermiles- will become the first cryptocurrency to be used by over 12 million US-based users (5miles.com) optimized for e-commerce applications. It is the blockchain for smart business contracts far more superior then Ethereum.
Utrust- A new Payment Mechanism where merchants accept multiple cryptocurrencies from buyers as payment while receiving in fiat currency. Includes lower seller/exchange fees, no chargebacks etc.
Both ICOs have a well written whitepaper with a great team behind. Wink
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long since you entered the crypto market on: November 17, 2017, 06:41:24 PM
I joined this sector in 2013 reading an article about bitcoin in PC Advisor magazine. Coinmarketcap was only one page. No airdrops or ICO-s just my usb asic miner. My first graphic card mining was Dogecoin. 500k per block. Happy days. BTC was short of 500 dollars. I had a break after market went down but never sold my Doge. I love to be here and experiencing how blockchain technology evolves over the years. Smiley
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in altcoin still worth? on: November 17, 2017, 04:19:23 PM
Look like the Btc is unstoppable, have sense invest in altcoin in this 2 month? Anyway wich alcoin can have a better growth (exept fork) then Bitcoin?
My answer is only informative here so please, do your own research before invest into altcurrencies. There is a lots of hype going around Ripple. American Express, Santander team up with Ripple for cross-border payments via blockchain. This is a big news. There was a spike after this news but i believe this is not the end. You can read more about it here: https://www.cnbc.com/2017/11/16/american-express-santander-team-up-with-ripple-on-blockchain-platform.html
Next is BAT. Brave browser lets you pay your favorite YouTube stars. https://www.cnet.com/news/brave-browser-lets-you-pay-your-favorite-youtube-stars/
These kind of news help to grow altcoins in value. Lots of promising alts out there just need to do a lots of reading and be on top them. Wink
