161  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Buying Real Estate with BTC on: June 08, 2011, 08:18:23 AM
You know there are some bitcoin ballers out there with over 100,000 bitcoins that would probably chomp on this offer.

Is it really worth it?
162  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Bitcoin Market Invites on: June 08, 2011, 08:16:20 AM
I've seen people saying that they will sell bitcoin market invites - that might be a good gig to list at forbitcoin.com - I'm sure there are people who would buy that.

I don't know exactly what bitcoin market is, I've been too busy to check it out - so if the guys from bitcoin market could comment here and let us know if this is cool or not - that would be good.

I would recommend you keep some wealth in gold/silver if you're going to bail on the dollar entirely. Many risks exist in Bitcoin.

This honestly wouldn't be an issue if my PC hadn't fried, but I've been trying to generate Bitcoin since March and haven't gotten a single on. I understand that it's supposed to be GUI mining, and my old PC would have done just fun but FRAK! Nothing. Not a single bloody thing. Why does it have to be so difficult for people with PCs like mine to generate Bitcoin? Is there a better way? Ugh. It's like I leave it running day in day out (haven't shut it off since 31 March - my birthday), and NOTHING. I thought this would be a good way to get back some of the things my parents sold, but apparently not. I'd buy these things with cash, but I have no money, so I can't. Is there anyone needs a writer, and is willing to pay in Bitcoin? I mean I'll do ANYTHING at this point to get a couple. Thanks for letting me rant. I appreciate it.

put up a job saying that you'll include a banner/link to forbitcoin.com in your signtaure, and I'll buy it =)

bitgigs.com

the domain was registered I think before ours - so it looks like we had the idea around the same time and we both just happened to launch at similar times.

175  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Working for Bitcoin? on: June 08, 2011, 06:59:37 AM
I'd like to earn some bitcoin. I'm a skilled web developer, Ruby on Rails, Html5 CSS3, jQuery, and more...

Any one hiring and paying BTC? Any one have any experience with working for BTC?

I don't feel like buying bitcoin, and fuel speculation, I want to earn it, the whole point of a currency is to facilitate trade, so lets trade my services and experience for some coin.

You can try forbitcoin.com
