Just check \logs\switching.log prior restarting NPlusMiner. Last line will tell you.
I have auto start set, but what could help is if on first run there was some kind of marker added to the log, maybe something like: "-------------"

Could you share the type of card? I have 1080ti, but I don't think HSR is the problem anymore. I think that the user in the other thread was having problems because of having older card. I am thinking the possible problem that was causing my computer to auto reboot was with claymore, but only when trying to split gpus to run two different pools. I think I found a way to know which algo causes an auto reboot. Next time it happens I'll search the miner log for "30 sec" as that is the sleep time when the miner first starts.. then I'll look at the previous algo. Everything seems stable again as now I have only one pool set for all the gpus. If somehow there is a stable way to run two different pools at the same time, that would be nice for comparing pools.

v2.5 use ccminerpolytimos to mine X17 and it was 58-60 Mh/s v3.0 use ccminerAlexis78 to mine X17 and it is 49-52Mh/s
Glad you found out why! Edit: What version of 2.5 are you using? I'm on 2.52 and running ccminerAlexis78 to mine X17.

How to lower cpu utilization ?
What version are you running?

PhoenixMiner for ethereum mining... i'll get onto that asap (also i will be reviewing ccminers over next few days, may be changes to a few algos to favor faster loading of gpus as more rigs are moving from 6 gpu's to 8 10 or 12 gpus it is becoming more of a issue...)
most of my rigs are still 6x GPUS i have a couple of 8x GPUS's... (i use plus or 24hr & ActiveMinerGain 11 so my rigs only switch a few times a day..)
Best Regards Nemo
Thank you! Looking forward to the updated miners.

I'm using NemosMiner 2.5.2 with 4 GTX 1050ti cards. All mining software work well, except for the sick, buggy-as-hell hsrminer... It just brought me persistent headache while crashing all the time and needs infinite attempts for configuring it at a stable manner... Feels like the lousy kid in the family! Please, get rid of it and use a well-configured edition of ccminer for Neoscrypt along with PhoenixMiner for ethereum mining... Keep up the good work! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) This would be a nice feature request.. able to select or change which miner is tied to an algo. I would rather have stable miners. Sometimes the fastest aren't stable.

hi newest version has more updated miners so will be faster in some algos also a few new algos have been added since January so your also missing out on them eg. x16r on zergpool is doing very well atm Best Regards Nemo
If we update manually (overwrite), should we keep the miners and they will be updated automatically or should we delete them? I would delete and let Nemo download the latest.

Even though I set half the gpus in parameters dstm 0 1 2 cc 0,1,2.. when running the ethash algo all gpus are used. Any ideas of what is going on?
Thanks!

Looking for some advise. I have a 6-gpu rig, since alexis78 takes forever to fully start hashing when using more than 4 cards, I'm now running 2 copies of nemo's side by side 3 gpu each (I changed the miner's API ports to prevent any crosstalk). Now everything works great most of the time except that BrainPlus has a very high CPU utilization (I have a Celeron 3930), so running 2 copies bring up the CPU utilization to 100% and sometimes it makes HSR miner crash. I've tried to launch each copy of nemo at different intervals but eventually both copies of BrainPlus end up catching up to each other and running at the same time.
Any suggestions on how to drop the CPU utilization of BrainPlus?
See my post for a fix: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1777336.msg31397702#msg31397702#Set process priority to BelowNormal to avoid hash rate drops on systems with weak CPUs (Get-Process -Id $PID).PriorityClass = "BelowNormal"
Edit: Looks like fixed in v3.0!

30% increase in performance with lower power consumption. The price will come down. That is a huge assumption. Lets just say it does 30% better. Its far better to buy today at $900 for a 1080ti and mine for 4 months, covering about $400 of that $900 cost. By July my 1080ti will be at $500 cost, while you are purchasing that shiny new 2080 for $1500 (3 times the cost) for 30% more hashing power. That is if you are able to get your hands on 4-6 of them to build a mining rig while tens of thousand of other miners are trying to. I think you misunderstood me. I'm using 1080tis and won't be buying any next generation card until the price/ROI is the same or better than today's cards. I was just stating I was excited to see the new technology come out.. knowing someday we'll be using them.

After another 24 hours with two identical rigs, one on Ahashpool, second one on Nicehash. Ahashpool 1,1 mBTC/day Nicehash 1,6 mBTC/day
I will stop loosing my money and go somewhere else.
Have you tried MultiPoolHub?

Waiting for 16 more 1080ti cards to build 4 more miners ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Cool! In a couple of months the 2080 might come out. Can't wait.

FULL 12 RIG 72 GPU NICEHASH TESTOk guys, I've switched one entire farm (72 GPUs, 12 rigs) over to NiceHash (2.0.1.11) - 48 HOUR TEST!!!! https://imgur.com/a/vNodgLast 3 Payouts on AHashPool (Use to be 0.021 at its peak) 19h ago 0.01532754 330b3de0606d1257621e51301da726f8ca02... 43h ago 0.01419105 87ce1e684a440868ea347bcde8766b5ac7f8... 2d ago 0.01409336 67db48c92b113c2c98fc62461144ad8399bd... Lets see how it plays out compared to my AHashPoolPlus 62 GPU Farm How about running the 72 GPU farm on NiceHash for 48 hours and then on AHashPoolPlus for 48 hours? You have to run exact same builds at the exact same time on each platform to have any kind of accurate results. ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) You're correct for best results.. but doesn't look like the two farms are the same.. one 72 and one 62... maybe he has some rigs that are the same and could run the test on smaller scale.

AHashPool beats NiceHash just by the pure fact that NiceHash most profitable algo is equihash and neoscrypt, while AHashPool has X17 and a few others that have been consistently 15-25% more profitable. Compare 24 hr actual API data from ahashpool & nicehash to see that if you calculate what your rig can do on X17 it can actually make more BTC for you over NiceHash mining equihash.
>>AHashPool beats NiceHash ^^^^^ imho it's your fanstasies, but lets test. We are talking about zpool... It's not profitable under nemosminer? I'm ready to test ahashpool. Teach me which algos to enable and which .bat use. ahashpool / ahashpool24hr / ahashpoolPlus ? Im try to 7h test NPlusMiner - аpprox $ 14.91531086 / day, disappointing result. -Algorithm xevan,tribus,c11,sib,x17,Nist5,Lyra2RE2,neoscrypt,blake2s,skunk

@nemo
No bugs, but noticed in your readme at the bottom the license is linked to NPlusMiner and not your own. I know they are the same file, but thought the link should be corrected.
