163  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] Titan 2017 Tenths [Graded] *Binary* on: August 02, 2022, 07:30:55 PM

are you sure, verification website doesnt connect for me I would have a difficult time adding or removing titans from my collection based on that.

The verification website should only be required for the 2FA coin AFAIK, not the private key ones.  Someone please correct me if wrong.

Yes and no.. I may be wrong, but from what I remember, any pre-2017 PK coins used a code on the hologram (just like the 2FA coins) rather than the first-bits like these 2017 tenths seen in the OP.
You need that code to reveal the first-bits/partial address on the Titan website.
I guess ultimately the code would not be needed on the PK coins once peeled and key read.

Bottom line is the website is not up to date and has missing parts and corrupted data it seems, so you can’t base half of the information off of it sadly.

Some PK coins pre 2017,  will show as active on the site, after 2017 most do not, but still have the PK under the holo, so using the website is just not going to be accurate any way you slice it unfortunately.

A good thing is that the 2017 PK versions had the 1st bits on the certs, so that helps identify the full address to look up.

Hope that helps.

Thanks!

Due to unfortunate circumstances... Mainly acid in the eyes during the end of the last auction... Hydrochloric.. Not the good kind (thats a joke haha)...  I missed the end and wasn't able to bid on this item.

Anyone want to sell one or any other CI items I don't have....  I'LL BUY!

Thanks for reading

I've noticed one of my Polymerbit notes have some kind of error on the printing. It's an ETH banknote, but it has a text which reads "Bitcoin 2017 Document". I was wondering if this error makes the note valuable or something. I'm not sure what the asking price would be, so I'd appreciate your help on this. Thanks in advance. Smiley

maybe I'm wrong, but I think the little gentleman (2nd row on the left) is also by Bitcoin Penny. at least, I'm always associating both with each other  Cheesy  maybe they can comment or someone else can verify.

180  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Titan Mint Coins- Serious Issue- ***NEW UPDATES*** on: May 20, 2022, 04:11:29 AM
Someone with a 2014 Titan Tenth could file a lawsuit in small claim court (usually dealing with issues under $10,000). This would legally require Tim to figure his crap out and if he can resolve one then the assumption would be it would trickle over to benefiting all. Hopefully this is more a case of incompetence than fraud and the BTC still is safe on all coins.

I know where there are 8 titan tenths that cannot be redeemed...

Not PK though, lets put this into some context Smiley

The 2FA ones have issues not the PK ones.

agreed and this thread is about "Titan Issues"  or at least I see "Titan" and "Issue" in the subject field so for me that is simply any and all issue with Titan

You are correct in your comment about the title of the thread and what you saw.... but you posted

I know where there are 8 titan tenths that cannot be redeemed
then someone posted after that with a question about "your" 8 coins, so just to clarify about those 8 coins,  its easy enough to add the specifics is all Smiley

**editing my post to include a reply for @Steeley (and not intentionally double post)

Are 2014 Titan Tenths with PKs? I thought they were also with 2FA. I have a 2017 with PK and feel ok with it, since I don't think there has been any report of Titan sweeping coins.

I am not aware of any swept coins 2FA or PK from Titan, just the accessibility of the 2FA coins, I dont believe to date that anyone has had an issue with a PK coin not having the funds on them still, have they?
