161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do many people who do not understand Bitcoin slander Bitcoin? on: May 31, 2021, 03:04:35 AM
After the recent bleak market. Many people do not even understand the basic principles of Bitcoin and blockchain knowledge, so they attack Bitcoin. What kind of mental state is this?

BITCON is a ponzi pyramid scam, get over it, and enjoy the ride.

Understanding the C++ of BTC, doesn't help you understand the human psychology of greed&fear. Blockchain, in CS called linked-list is like 1950's tech.

What kind of mental state were you in, when you posted this question? To slander BITCOIN is to slander God, off with their heads right?
162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are comfortable investing in government controlled investments on: May 31, 2021, 03:01:26 AM
Just think about it a little.  Roll Eyes

You know that whatever happens with your government controlled investment, you will have a safety net from that government. History has shown us how governments have bailed out Banks and/or injected millions or even Billions of tax payers money into economies to protect it.

They are printing Trillions of Dollars to reduce the impact of this Covid-19 virus on their local economy and they are doing this with money that was supposed to go to critical needs. (Public Health care / Social grants for unemployed people etc.)

Did Bitcoin get any support from governments when Stock markets plummeted lately? No, because Bitcoin is seen as the enemy.  Angry

We relish in the fact that Bitcoin is not supported by the injection of slow poison from these governments, because this cannot be sustained indefinitely. At some stage we will see that taxes would not be enough to save Banks and/or local economies. Companies and individuals can only pay so much taxes, until they go bankrupt.

It is only smoke & mirrors to postpone the inevitable collapse of the global economy. Will Bitcoin then be seen as a real safe haven or will it be too late?

What are you saying, some 7% of the COVID money was used to BUY BTC, this is a fact.

BITCOIN was created by NSA, and designed by IMF-BIS

BITCOIN has been controlled since birth, question is why are people in love with it, oh yep they're getting rich, right, you can't get rich when you HODL, and when you do sell it all goes to ZERO.
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 99% of ALL CHIA XCH crypto is already held by Ten Whales - WHO R THEY?? on: May 31, 2021, 02:56:58 AM
Some of those maybe exchange addresses or the swapping pool addresses from whatever liquidity AMM they are on. Though if true, such a concentration of funds is the exact problem with these pre-mined corporate coins. They end up being concentrated in the hands of a few.

Whats your interest by the way? Did you participate in their ICO/IDI/IEO or whatever?

Coz last i checked you were busy trying to misguide newbies with false information about Bitcoin.

Last I saw you, you were homeless and living on the streets of PDX. What's up dude?

Before you accuse somebody of false-info, why not specify it?

R U saying this is false-info too about CHIA? That this isn't real, that the post is fake info? What are you saying, oh your saying that once anybody tells the truth about BITCOIN, they're on your shit-list forever, oh I get it now.

Back to the street defecating due, its where you do your best work, not posting here.

Misguiding noobs about BTC, how say that? Shit nobody has to lie about bitcoin, it speaks for itself as its back by scammers all over the earth.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hacking Ethereum is that Alt? or mainstream here on BF? Anybody want to hack ETH on: May 30, 2021, 10:47:47 AM
I have wrapped up my bitcoin hacking project, just wanted to see if there was any people interested in hacking ETH?

It's actually real easy, same as btc, just that the public key is hashed with keccak, rather than sha, otherwise all is same same.

Anybody interested let me know, the brainflayer3 in this link was all max'd out years ago for ethereum, even the blockchain database scraping is essentially the same.

https://github.com/room101-dev/Grand-Ultimate-BTC-Hacker/tree/master

So nobody hacks ETH, just BTC Smiley
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All the crypto industry is running by shills on: May 30, 2021, 09:57:22 AM
If we're talking about small ICOs, they're definitely paying influential Youtubers for positive videos about them and are pushing their coins in the media for money as well. However, I don't think that's the case with big projects because companies can become genuinely interested in them, invest money and then do the shilling themselves because of being interested in the growth of the price. I'm sure there's no shilling with Bitcoin or Ethereum, for instance, and I think that other top cryptos by market capitalization truly have people who believe in them.

OHHHHHHHHHHH GAWD

The big projects are worse, CHIA the new HDD coin, has dozens of people on YT talking shit about CHIA, telling people to buy HDD's and mine green, failing to tell them they'll lose their ass, and lose their $$, and destroy the drives.

Just google YT "Chia mining", all are paid XCH from chia-net, and some from WD & Seagate for the YT's

HUGE money, huge projects

...

Well for ETH&BTC it just happens other ways, say BTC you will see shilling for 'cold wallets', aka trezers and other crap; On ETH you see shilling for 'token-shit'; There is not purpose of shilling for BTC as that's what this site does, 100% shilling 24/7 for BTC
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All the crypto industry is running by shills on: May 30, 2021, 09:55:19 AM
Especially the smaller market cap coins. But even big coins like XRP, ADA etc I can almost gurantee you that they are paying for shills.
Don't beleive everything you see in Youtube and in Reddit. ADA to $10 eoy
Theta to $1000 and all of this shit.

Youtubers get 30K for 1 video to talk about the coin

yep, all is a scam, its the cost of entry, losers are attracted to crypto, morons with money fall over themselves to buy shit-coins, rinse & repeat

it works until it doesn't

HPOOL doesn't require your private key to be sent.

You run an offline tool that generates a signature that you paste into your config.yaml file, but you never send your private-key outside of your cage.

Even solo-mining with chia-network, you must sign your  plots with your private-key to prove that you are the owner.

Why to people continue to lie, and never quit these lies?

I suspect to keep people solo mining and earning zero.

Like i have said, the only thing left to do is derive private-keys straight from public-keys, ....
                                                  ---------------------------------------------------
Two things left. This -------------------------------------------------^
And perpetuum mobile.

Well that would be your circle-jerk invention ( perpetuum mobile jerking contraption ), lots of people are working on ECDLP, 1,000's of paper per year published. Math&Crypto PHD's.

and then on my super-computer ( 3 nvmes, 32 cores, 64 gb ) I started burning plots ( 108gb files ) that contain hashes, I can generate 32 plots a day,
Maybe u want to learn next time BEFORE you post crappy instructions?

I get 20/day with a single SSD and only 6 cores and still playing around.  Roll Eyes

https://imgur.com/5cMuTwQ

On a single NMVE I can get 16 plots per day, I was talk about $$ day there not plots dude.

I can do 32 plots/day, but I don't I do 16 plots/day, and I average income of $20/day, the purpose of the post is to remind all that nobody is making real money in this scam.

I make more money miniing ETH, without risk of killing my HW, so far this month alone I have killed 3 drives playing with chia.

My 3-nvme system is the only one I use for plotting ( creating 108gb plots files), one nvme for the os, one for plotting, one for plot-temp, I only run 4 plots, gen every six hours; Sure I can do 32, but why?

My 16 plots day, barely keeps up with the 8.9% EB space-growth, now what 10.9EB? Yesterday 10.1 ( 10.1 billion billion bytes )

Unlike ETH, where you add cards, here more plots just keeps you even, you stop making plots, and you fall behind.

Big part of that hashrate rise is fake, dont by chinese cheaters at hpool:

"1. Many users use the same file to mine in the wallet and mining pool at the same time to steal HashRate from other users: we have now detected that about 170 daily accounts was banned for this issue (which means that 170 daily blocks should have been generated in the mining pool but was rubbed away. Fewer than 10% users accept the punishment).

2. Fake HashRate: some miners participated in mining by forging false documents to obtain illegal profits. At present, we have investigated and confirmed that about 500+P have been involved in this attempt, among which a single account is involved with 180P.

The investigation is still going on."

People should stay away from that pool

Once upon a time viruses were only on windoze

Today chia is the ONLY XCH mining pool on earth, so all the hackers only have one place to attack, and then of course chia-network, not be capable of creating a pool interface spends all their resources to denigrate & harass HPOOL

I'm glad that HPOOL is cleansing its system of arse-holes, suits me fine, more XCH for me.

172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mining chia network with HDD it true ? on: May 30, 2021, 09:33:24 AM
ahahahha))) British police discovered a Bitcoin mining farm during an operation to seize illegal marijuana.

"This is definitely not what we expected." - said the police officer.

Actually miners (GPU/ASIC) are great for grow operations, all mining generates about 45C, at 48% humidity, the perfect drying environment for bud's.

This would be a twofer, rather than just buying a dryer, you get crypto while drying the bud's.

Sadly, since chia doesn't generate heat, what does it have to do with this op? Bitcoin is not chia, you understand  that right?

Okay you can call Elon stupid shit but he is not that stupid to invest in cocaine. Lolz he knows what he is doing with his multi billion dollar company.

Also note that what do we think does not matter to him. I am pretty sure he has got very skilled people around him who are on the advisory board.

This is 21st century he knows what is good for his company.

The article makes it quite clear, he should gamble with his own money, not that from public share-holders.

This is criminal activity, not unlike DeLorean years ago.
174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Experts Advise Musk to Invest in Cocaine Rather than Bitcoin - Safer Investment on: May 30, 2021, 09:29:17 AM
You are misrepresenting. The article you link to does not support what you say about cocaine. Not to say it's bullshit because cocaine trafficking is illegal. You haven't done a few lines of cocaine, have you?

Musk is just like DeLorean? You remember "Back to the Future" Movie? Delorean he too made autos' and did nefarious stuff to keep his failing company afloat.
175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Experts Advise Musk to Invest in Cocaine Rather than Bitcoin - Safer Investment on: May 30, 2021, 03:44:50 AM
Experts Advise Musk to Invest "Corporate Funds" in Cocaine Rather than Bitcoin - Safer Investment ; If he must Play with BITCOIN, then he should use his own money.

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/tesla-ditched-bitcoin-payments-still-110000470.html

30 years ago John DeLorean, an earlier Musk, a guy that had his own car company, he  needed to earn cash, and his car company wasn't making money, just like Mus,

So DeLorean bought $200M USD worth of cocaine and brought it into USA and re-sold, eventually he got busted, and his auto company went bankrupt.

Funny Musk now is doing the exact same thing gambling with other peoples money, to save his own arse.
176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mainstream Media now Admitting that +67% of BITCOIN Mined&Owned by China on: May 30, 2021, 03:39:19 AM
We already know that the biggest mining farms for bitcoin are in china but that does not mean that china control the bitcoin. Also the news that china banned bitcoin is totally fun news which we hear in almost every bitcoin cycle and it always work to push the bitcoin price down.  Sad

How can idiots post without even checking out the linked article? You can clearly see from the graph, that +90% of all BTC is mined in CHINA.

What you think is not a fact, a fact is what it is, having been researched by fact checkers.

The majority on this forum go though their entire lives circle-jerking each other with this common narrative, which is based on lies.

I thought it was funny to see the MSM now telling the truth, but its clear the osctriches here on this forum, will be the last to learn the truth.

Sometimes FUD comes back to bite you in the ass.

For the past week we have been hearing the same FUDs over and over again, two contradicting ones.
1. China controls bitcoin and has more than 51% hashrate
2. China banned bitcoin and shut down all mining operations.
Meanwhile when we look at the hashrate charts we see not signs of any hashrate being "removed". If the FUD were correct we should have seen hashrate drop to 60 EHS but it is the same as before hovering around 140 EHS ±20 Grin

My gawd don't be a moron, to Go through life fat, dumb, & stupid is insane.

Check out the link, there is a graph, 90% of BTC is mined in CHINA, the mining decides on the transactions being approved. China didn't ban shit, that is a lie that morons like to push, tell that to the 10's of 1,000's of people in CHINA with bitmain miners running them in their apartments.

I'm here in China dildo brains. Everybody has crypto on their smart phones, an miners at their residence. People even mine on their laptops that have rtx-3060's; China manufactures 99% of all the mining hw on earth for all crypto, and most of it stay's here in China.

So whats the FUD? Is it the article by Hulbert, one of the most famous financial analysts in the  last 40+ years? Or is it you a compulsive liar?

Thanks - when PoW is done, is that only for Ethereum or  is it also for all the other coins on that network?
If you are talking about different tokens - they will work correct. But decisions about how it will work changes too much times, so we`ll see how it works only at start.
Thanks - when PoW is done, is that only for Ethereum or  is it also for all the other coins on that network?

it is good question Smiley ... I think it is only eth but I got no idea really ... I hope that ETC will remain mineable ... can somebody smart shed some light on it ?
ETC is not ETH. They even have different algos now. But we have lot of products with ETH blockchain and nothing with ETC.

The LISP in CHIA will destroy the bullshit ETH java-script hack.

I expect at ETH-3.0 with LISP, this would be the winner; Solid code running from the blockchain.

ETH can die, if they go POS, most will go to ETC in the short term, then ETH-3.0

BUTERIN can suck eggs, his deployment is shitware.

... certainly POS is oligarchy while POW is equitable to little guys ...

We have one who can see  Wink

Not really, all along the entire BITCOIN narrative has been BULLSHIT.

SatohsiNAkamoto is NSA, BIS-IMF designed bitcoin in 1997 white-papers, NSA released code in 2009, and mass adoption, so now TPTB takes control of their baby from the masses, what did you expect the outcome to be?

ETH&BTC are 99% the same thing, everything is a btc clone.

Privacy, cheap transactions, be you own bank, ... all the BS story's were all lies all along.

Nobody knows its an internal war, certainly POS is oligarchy while POW is equitable to little guys, but what difference does it make when there is a Chinese ASIC for all 10k shit-coins

Lot's of way to deploy  your gpu rigs, I use them to hack bitcoin and once I turn off all my ETH miners, and deploy them to hacking btc, it will be a blood-bath of lost coins, In the past I kept my best cards like rtx-3070 where I can make good money earning ETH, but if they come out with a bitmain ETH miner, then our gpu rigs are worthless, they already have Z-asics, so zcoins are out, there is essentially nothing left other than hacking btc for profitablility

---- so why would GPUs become worthless when the ASIC miners come out? The GPUs still do the same tasks that they did before - ASICS will just do them better and earn more ETH more efficiently. Would GPUs somehow produce a ton less? Everyone is competing with everyone and if you're in a pool, then it's aggregated and split up based on hash rate?
Lastly a lot of people are just moving over to ETC ethereum-classic, as its the real deal, but doesn't have the $$$

IMHO there should be a ETH-CLASSIC2, where they fork right now, an the miners all move to this, that way we get the best of all worlds modernized ETH, but don't move to Proof of SNAKE ( rich guys controlling crypto )

Because the NEW ETH ASIC miners can generate 100X ETH over the GPU, so the GPU will have to move on, same thing happened when bitmain came out of Z-15 box, zcash, and horizen are now impossible to mine the profits went to zero

You can't compete with 10's of 1,000's of ASIC ETH miners, once they go online our GPU's earn ZERO from the pools.

Once all the ASIC ETH miners start running on our favorite pools, all us GPU miners will be feces on the street. The ASIC miners will be gods in the clouds.

Can't fight them join them, if your serious about mining ETH in the future, then order an ASIC box if your rich, and got connections. Tight supply as always.
