could you try running pooler's cpuminer in screen, and if it terminates too ask for an improvement in his code (pooler's cpuminer has its own thread on bitcointalk).  I can then just merge his fixes in Wink

Christian
I can confirm that pooler's cpuminer does indeed function in Linux screen, I can not confirm cudaminer though.

A little update on HelixCoin: Dead as hell!
I made not a single cent from it Smiley
can't be worst than gpucoin (made millions which evaporate)
I guess I atleast still have some bytes on my harddrive Tongue

I added a second gt 780 to my pc now the temp is 82c while the fans are at 100% anyway to lower gpu usage? how many had there fans damaged due to long periods of there fans running at 100%
i downclock my gpu to 1020 core but still above 80c
You should worry about getting cool air into your rig, not lowering the GPU cores Smiley

What I can't understand is why does T12x10 give me 188 kh/s

Something most be bottlenecking you, RAM, VRAM, CPU, PCI?

I'm running a 3960x with 16gb of ram. The only thing that could possibly be causing issues I've got all 4 slots populated with 780's. Don't know if that would make a difference or not.
Yeah that does make a difference, looks like Christian is working on fixing that though.

Just an FYI as it seems getting more than 6 cards running in one system has been problematic for folks.

I'm now running (7) EVGA GTX 750Ti FTWs on an ASRock Fatil1ty Z87 Killer motherboard (Win7 x64). I had some problems getting normal risers to work (required jumping the vga presence pin), but USB risers have worked flawlessly without needing a jumper. Just make sure to disable the onboard video. If anyone wants more details, I'm happy to share.
Images, images is all we desire :3

Relaunch of a coin?
How does that work :|
New password-protected wallet? With different code?
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: March 02, 2014, 10:14:19 PM
Meh sounds like the launch was good, compared to the HelixCoin launch...
Still have that stuff, not even worth 20 bucks :/

Im very new to this Mining thing. At the moment i got 2x Gainward gtx780ti SLI Cards.
My Problem is dont know how many kh they really give. At the moment with my Settings i just get 610kh/s with both together, not each.

Possible that anyone give me some Hints to improve this, if its possible.

If i use settings like T2048x24 my cudaminer 32bit version breaks totaly. Or i get a lot of cudaminer error 6.

At the moment i run T14x18.

Many thanks.
Pretty sure you need something like T15x24 for optimal scrypt on that card

I am seeing no keccak hashrate improvement with the 28-2-14 build, on my GTX 780 Huh

switch from K to T kernel.

Got ya, does autotune work properly yet?
Because it looks like it wants to do 4000 warps...
You need to use K#cudacore x24
I use T2048x24, seems to get me 205mhash average

I get this (and bluescreens) when I dial up the core or mem clocks too much. Try starting out with stock clocks.

Also go with the autotune suggestion. t5x24 might require too much memory for your card.

Christian
You -should- really work on making these errors a bit more clear somehow...
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 28, 2014, 10:39:16 PM

So who became rich today, lol? Wink

Christian

Not yet, I have lowered it alot and MIGHT get almost 2BTC out of this, I am fine with that.
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 28, 2014, 10:37:11 PM
Yes, BUYBUYBUY for only 0.005BTC each! Get them while they are still low!
sooo you were the one who was selling 1963hex for 13btc...
Maybe... Roll Eyes I lowered though, silly people dumping, I want to dump!

MINE MAX, HELIX WITH THE 2014-02-28 release.

For keccak, use the T kernel now for Compute 3.5 devices. Careful, its warp limit is 24 not 32.

My GTX 750 Ti makes 164 MHash/s   << this is the new keccak ACE CARD.
My GTX 780 now breaks 200 MHash/s at 80% TDP.  YEAH BABY!

Thanks to Alexey for the submission, even though he bungled up the ROL macro at the first
attempt, which is why we didn't make the Helixcoin launch Wink

Christian
Ah I have stopped mining already...

Not really no. Some very low scrypt cards can get surprisingly high keccak numbers.

would you have any examples for scrypt duds & keccak ace cards?

Christian

LOL sometimes this world is like learning another language. What are scrypt duds and keccak ace cards?! I googled "keccak ace" and this thread was the only real result Tongue
dud = bad
ace = awesome
Got that out of the context Smiley

You should continue to solomine, you will never be able to get to 2000 on a pool
Yeah, solo would take some years now!

179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 28, 2014, 09:38:54 PM
Bummer, it looks like I only got like 20 some coins on 1500 mh/s of power
Funny, I got 1963 with just 164mhash... sorry I am bragging
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 28, 2014, 09:21:47 PM
I had the same issue on maxcoin. Ooo well. You dont get them all

(Sorry I had to go there)
