First, the appropriate word would be "egocentric", not "egotistical", that have quite a different meaning and nothing to do with the intended purpose.

It is also true his comment about your statement regarding the "elite programmers" and Dev3. Where is the official ranking that determines that elite? Talking about which, perhaps some more hype wouldn't hurt the coin at all, pricewise or volume-wise. We are now on a long-standing (by crypto standards, that is) in which the price is quite stagnant and only tilting down. In spite of what you just announced. It seems that not attaching an estimated date of delivery works rather negatively. Just as a suggestion, to avoid what you perceive mistakes of the past, I would set a generous ETA, much rather than a convenient -for you and your elite programmers, no one else- "we'll announce it when it's ready". It would be a very nice pattern to establish, making announcements of features, with ETA, that are constantly beaten. It's called, in the financial world, "under-promise and over-deliver". And it works like magic.

I waited long for the open beta sms wallet release, untill yesterday night. Yesterday night devs told me it would be ready within the hour, at least before the weekend ends. Since weekend ended in the entire world, and still there was nothing, i keep my promise; open fire.
Thats it. No that's not it. Because you're acting like a spoilt demanding child everyone else's investment is put at risk. For you the only person in this world that matters is yourself. If people are speculating on promised features of an advertised coin then dev integrity is absolutely key. VeriSMS sounds great and people invested. Now some feel scammed because things are not being delivered and the possibility that this has and will still be a scam (of which everyone in crypto has seen their fair share) comes a bit closer to reality. That is why you are seeing negative posts. Integrity is key if you want to build something in the long term. It is better to say you can not do something and then deliver it later than it is to say you will do something and then you don't deliver. A statement such as "open fire" is a clear intention to bring vericoin down and that would include the investors. I think a little more patience may go a long way towards protecting the interests of fellow investors. I agree with what you say but there are limits. If you believe Vericoin dev will still deliver then you have nothing to fear and then no amount of fudding will kill this coin. As soon as SMS works things will take off and keep growing and that will be good news for all cryptos. Just ignore them or explain to them why you are not worried. I have no stake in this, I only own 10 Vericoin. I will defend this coin, if somebody is calling something a lie and it's clearly not, and i can prove. As i said he has legitimate question about time when sms wallet will be released, because dev announced the time. But he has no right to call all things a lie, and fud all over the place. |
