Novak heated part of his house last winter with an AM Tube. I kept my entire apartment comfortably above freezing with a Dragon, S3-supplemented when necessary. Previous winter the house and shop were warmed substantially by AM Cubes and S1. Pretty handy.

yup, why run a space heater when you can run gear and make BTC aside from keeping warm.

sadly mine was the call of duty modern warfare 2 era (2009?)..... I would let the pc mine while I was at work and tried playing COD when I got home and the pc couldn't take it. Winter came around and I was too bored so I turned the program off to play (at the time they were pretty much worthless, not much to do with them either) and the hard drive has been reformatted many times since then. OCT 2013 is when I got back into it.

more sexy prototype pictures.

Hell yea who couldn't love them, I have been messing with the nano/bi/hex fury design and its cool seeing a 3d real time rendering.

I've been thinking, what's the difference other then the footprint, between the BM1382 and the BM1384? if i was to deadbug a 84 to a 82 footprint, would it work?

since you're using a U3 code to run a 84 chip, and the U3 uses 82 chips, I had a thought to scratch up an adaptor board for the U3 to link the footprint of the BM1382 to the footprint of the BM1384.. But it cant be wire to wire compatible, can it?

just like the old Pentium 3M mobiles to the P3 desktop sockets..

wont work, different pad layout under the chip.

I have taken in a few PayPal sales, if you'd rather go that route.

well I'm in for a few via PP and a few via BTC then. gotta see what my funds look like.

169  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTT/S] Antminer s3/s3+/s5(pics added) on: August 15, 2015, 09:42:13 PM
Bump TTT, the yoli is gone but I added my s5 into the mix as well. feel free to make offers in BTC, I'm looking to trade but if the offer is right they will  be gone. The s5 is a board down but it usually hashes 550-650 Gh/s non-overclocked
170  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: New antminer S-5+ selling options on: August 13, 2015, 11:02:36 AM
we could also do a mini group buy, a few pitch in on the s5+ then the head person gets the miner and ships out boards as paid for.

Do you mean head person gets one whole miner?  On a miner at this price it would need to be a large group buy to provide person in charge a miner.

no I mean like we get a few guys interested to split 1 or more s5+ miners and the trusted member ships the boards to the people that paid accordingly but trying to get a good price point would make it hard to do. I'm more interested to see if they sell replacement boards for this. I have seen about 3 different listings for the s5+ on ebay and they are in the US.
171  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: New antminer S-5+ selling options on: August 13, 2015, 03:28:00 AM
so 48 chips per board so that would be ~855 gh/s per board, and if they kept it simple (like they usually do) they would of used the same pin-out so I would say the boards would/should plug into the s5 controller and work fine. we should see if they sell just *replacement boards* for this miner and then it would be like an s5 upgrade and could possibly tweak it to get better efficiency than the stock s5 boards. seeing how 2 of these would put an s5 at 1.7 th/s and the stock controller can take up to 4 boards, I would be fine loosing some gh/s for better watt to ghs than the stock s5 set up. this could get interesting.

we could also do a mini group buy, a few pitch in on the s5+ then the head person gets the miner and ships out boards as paid for.

I have like 6-8 erupters in their cases still (plastic and foam surrounding), are you just a collector? I would definitely trade them for an s3.

Not a collector, just like messing with miners and like watching the flashing lights in the dark. The antminers just get setup and forget, and are too loud and hot for my bedroom. I am also slimming down my electric bill due to the ac running 24/7 and I'd hate to let them collect dust for months on end. When winter comes around these will be put back into action if the do not move to save on my heating bill. I will send you a PM.

HF Yoli pending to adib - we are trading the yoli for some bitfury boards. I have offered to drop btc into an escrow or point an s3 to a pool of this choice  until he gets the yoli and we are both happy. deal will be on this thread for a public record. will update this post once we strike a solid agreement.
177  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTT] Antminer s3/s3+ & HF Yoli (pics added) on: July 31, 2015, 01:59:30 PM
I have about 600ghs +-50ghs worth of v1.1 and v2 bitfury cards + the corespondet m-boards, id be intrested in the yoli board.
Due to being in Europe i would be willing to send them and take the yoli without the water cooler as it is heavy and not worth the trip.
Tell me what you think.

EDIT: Also 1 full antminer S2 kit for the yoli board but including the cooler this time.

You have a PM
