161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can bounty with large allocations make you profitable ?? on: June 17, 2019, 05:32:11 AM
I often see bounties that allocate large tokens even equivalent to $ 1 million in tokens.
Then there are also bounties that have a small allocation of around $ 50k USD in tokens ...

So where do you think that will be promising and the tokens are valuable ??

because I also wonder why the team held a bounty with only large allocations of softcap money not achieved.

what do you think about this opinion.
I really do not believe in the value of the token a project allocated, because many of this projects this days use large number of allocation as a means to attract hunters to the bounty and will later decrease the allocation after the bounty has finished.
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum goes to the top! on: June 14, 2019, 09:20:41 AM
I see price growth and ethereum charts getting better. Although it is difficult to reach $ 200. Well, this is a good opportunity to start buying ethereum. Is this a good idea for now? Let's discuss it. Thank you in advance.
ethereum has been at the top maintaining its second position in the market cap data. If talking about the price, then we will always expect this kind of post on every spike of ethereum because it might not go up this fast again in some time before we see it again

My address is 0xd125a58b966dc8bdf10489fd910ca929934a0dbc

It happened in Jun 6th

I guess I download a virus altcoin wallet and the hacker found my private key in my desktop

sorry butyouhaveno chances of getting it back. Also you should know that you have lost the wallet entirely since the hacker has your key. The best option is to forget the wallet, get a new one and then protect it from hack
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Using MEW Offline (Cold Storage) on: June 14, 2019, 09:10:21 AM
Recommend you should Using MEW Offline (Cold Storage)

Source:

For increased security, you can run MyEtherWallet (MEW) on your local computer, instead of from the GitHub servers through our website. The computer being used should not be connected to the internet. You can generate a wallet completely offline and send transactions on a different computer, which must be connected to the internet, from our ‘Send Offline’ section. In this way, your sensitive information (i.e. private key, keystore file, mnemonic phrase) is kept on an offline device, and it is never transmitted off your device.

Downloading and Running MEW Offline

Step 1. In order to set up your local MEW, start by downloading the latest release of MEW here.

Step 2. Click on MyEtherWallet-vX.X.X.X.zip to download the file. Move this file to a USB stick (or another storage transfer device), and transfer it to your permanently-offline computer.

Step 3. Plug the USB into your offline computer and extract all the files into the archive of the computer. Extracting the files is important, otherwise MEW will not open correctly and will look like a bunch of nonsense. You should end up with a folder containing these files:

Step 4. To open MEW, double-click the ‘index.html’ file. This will open MEW in your browser. You will get a warning saying it is unable to connect to the network, which is normal. You’re not connected to the internet. You won’t be able to see your ETH or token balances because of this, but these are viewable in a secure, public way by using an Ethereum blockchain explorer such as etherscan.io or ethplorer.io.

Congratulations, you’re running MEW offline! Make sure to repeat this process periodically, to ensure you’re on the most up-to-date version of our interface.

Read this article for more information on how to create a wallet.
Read this article if you’d like to know how to send an offline transaction.

this is quite interesting and thank you for sharing. I didn't know myetherwallet has such features and will definitely explore it. This will be best tool for everyone to store assets and don't worry about theft
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The Bitter Truth about Bounties on: June 13, 2019, 06:17:11 AM
How many of you bounty hunters are actually making up to 500$ per project after months of promoting the bounty project this year? I heard that those who make thousands of $$$$ in 2017/ early 2018 are fortunate because of the bullrun ,so thus that means if no bullrun all bounties won't bring huge profits???

Let's talk about bounties that are not looking for funds like ICO and IEO ,they are always better and you don't need to wait forever to get your tokens,I like promoting already listed coins or tokens ,it's gives better rest of mind
this is what you think, your own opinion and not what you know. No hunter tells you what he earned from a particular bounty, maybe you don't earn much and even if you do already listed bounties, you still face the same issues.
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins With Low Trading Volume? on: June 13, 2019, 05:43:51 AM
Is it very bad if a coin has a low daily trading volume?  The known coins have at least 6 figures or more traded daily at the very minimum.  And of course btc and the top 10 coins are traded in the millions and even billions daily.

If a coin has low trading volume, is that very bad?
I don't think it's that bad because I have seen coins that have low trading volume and later on the volume increased as they started having demands. Some project during development might experience low trade volume because there is nothing to push the price
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't be too quick to judge ICOs on: June 12, 2019, 04:23:10 PM
I personally do not believe this statistics that 99% of ICOs are scam, because some ICOs fail do not mean they are all scam. I usually tell people that starting an ICO is like starting a new business, it might succeed immediately, it might fail presently but have a great future and it might fail totally beyond redemption. So because a project is failing to perform presently or fail totally do not mean it is a scam. Don't get me wrong here, I never said there are no scam projects but the rate is not as high as alleged. Judging a project based on its first few years is wrong, give it time to realize its potentials.
you are right, not all ICOs are scam but since even the good projects can't succeed anymore because of lack of funding many now think they are all scams. I have read many post here related to such topics where people say ICOs are scam
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounties with limitations pays higher rewards on: June 12, 2019, 03:56:07 PM
RESTRICTIONS AND LIMITATIONS FOR PARTICIPATION IN A BOUNTY CAMPAIGN = HIGHER PAYOUTS

The limitations can be done in two ways:

1)Quantative — when a max number of participants is set and no one is allowed to join after that.

Example: Max 1000 entrants in a facebook campaign

2)Qualitative — when the requirements are raised up by the bounty managers.

Example: Minimum 500 followers to participate in an article/blogging campaign.
yes you are partially right although this does not include all bounties with limitations. But I have know quite some bounties which has placed limitations and the payment was quite good.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long-term plan for investment. on: June 12, 2019, 03:50:12 PM
Hy all. How are you.Do you have a long-term plan for cryptocurrency investment? What are your plans, Is it only to gain profits in the future? Or you have hope and other dreams. Thank you very much.
sorry but I don't know why you ever thought that there is another plan for a long term investment if not to make more profit. Well even if there should be any other plans, it's important to know that the most important plan is to make profits
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Temporarily stop crypto trading? on: June 11, 2019, 05:48:25 PM
I suffered losses in recent days, and I decided to stop trading for a while. While looking for capital to return to the market. Shut up to strategize and take compensation for recent losses. Have you ever lost continuously and lost enthusiasm? Thank U.
first of all,I am sorry for your loss and I know that feeling. I have experienced it before and many times, I. Just want to quit but just can't and all I have to do is look for funds and get back to trading again. Don't loose hope everything will be fine before you know it
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty campain with ETH or BTC payment ? on: June 11, 2019, 05:43:52 PM
hello guys, i am a bounty hunter and i am here want to ask with you all.
are you tired waiting distribution, get locked token, blame when price dump and other bounty hunters problem.
so why bounty campain not have a payment with ETH or BTC for rewards if they afraid if bounty hunter will dump their token ?

how about you guys ?
this issue has been talked about over and over again and I don't think many projects can keep up to that. Like I explained in a similar post like yours, many of this projects don't have funds and are depending on the fund that will be raised.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reason why bounty manager are not paying Bitcoin and other trade able coins on: June 11, 2019, 05:30:02 PM
Bounty hunters are requesting to get paid through Bitcoin and Ethereum or other tradeable coins so bounty hunters will not dump their token when it hit the market, thereby protecting its price.

But they don't want that because they do not believe that their own token will have value or demand when it hit the market  Cheesy and that's actually what's happening
That's one of the reasons I can think of if you have more post it here.
dont think this will be easy to achieve. If ever a project would agree to this terms or would make payments with already existing coin means that the project has funding already and is sure project will launch. Many projects depends on the fund that they would raise to develop project.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: governments vs altcoins on: June 10, 2019, 08:22:42 PM
Altcoins, even Bitcoin is not fully anonymous. It’s semi-anonymous. And this is why if you control the gates and control the amounts of fiat currency swapped for cryptocurrencies you can track, from that point forward, the route the flow of value takes.

Make no mistake. Governments see cryptocurrencies as a coup d’état against the international banking system. And if you own or trade cryptocurrencies, you are viewed from the establishment’s point of view as taking something that is not yours to take — autonomous control of your wealth.

In 2018 cryptocurrency demand was choked. As Bitcoin supply overwhelmed demand, the price of Bitcoin and other cryptos fell while the big players were quietly accumulating a position.
you actually not making any point. We all know that nothing can be hidden and even some privacy coins like monero are not 100% anonymous. Cryptocurrency is a coup d'etat as you called it. Cryptocurrency is still in its infancy and still have a lot of development to encounter
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is time for Bounty hunters to hold/hodl on: June 10, 2019, 08:16:01 PM
Gone are the days when hunters receive huge sums as rewards in fiat value when exchanged. There were cases of someone making as much as over $10000 in a single campaign and it happened that such coins have dumped drastically by now, so the hunter would have lost huge if he never exchanged and then it was the period of receive and dump quickly.

Right now the trend has changed, it is now the period of receive and hold, anyone that dumps will be dumping for a very cheap amount, may end up regretting when such tokens have pumped several amounts higher than how much was sold. Imagine working for three months and receiving $10 in token exchange value and dumping at such amount where it would be worth about $100 waiting for some months being favored with the impending bull run.

it will be quite difficult for bounty hunters to hodl. Many of them don't have that kind of orientation and many times I wonder why they have such reasoning. Only if they can see it as an opportunity to earn and hold companies shares and not just for some penny
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is BNB the Next Bitcoin? on: June 10, 2019, 08:09:03 PM
While the whole market of cryptocurrency has had a solid 2019, one coin specifically has triggered up to 300 percent gains since the beginning of the year. Binance Coin (BNB), the official currency of to the world's top ranked crypto exchange by volume, has outpaced both Bitcoin and the market with its huge increases in the course of the most recent month. Given how Binance Coin has, to some degree, taken over the market surge, Is BNB the new Bitcoin?
stop dreaming, binance coin can't compete with bitcoin in anyway. They have different use cases. And in as much as binance has it's own chain now it's still far from competing with ethereum as well.
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A New Bitcoin Rival Is Coming? on: June 07, 2019, 04:20:28 PM
This is a joke, are you already hyping the Facebook coin that is yet to be in existence? And the worst part of it all you called it bitcoin rival? What the in God's name are you thinking? It can't compete with bitcoin in any way so you should cut the joke
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A mobile App for MEW on: June 07, 2019, 04:17:38 PM
They of course have a mobile app for Android and iOS users but to be honest with you, haven't tired it out yet But I use other erc20 apps for managing my portfolio
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: when are we going to see ALtcoins do 50% profit in a day. on: June 06, 2019, 11:58:18 AM
No need speculating when this will happen because I don't think anyone knows. Just hold your token till you reach your expected profits. it may take quite a long time to happen who knows.
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Ethereum: Which is the Future Cryptocurrency on: June 06, 2019, 10:09:48 AM
Both are, and I hope you are not thinking that ethereum will take over bitcoin because that wouldn't happen and even if it will happen on any slightest imagination, it will take quite a long time to happen.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto market getting many new people. Is it good or bad for us? on: June 06, 2019, 10:03:58 AM
It's a very good thing buddy we need more people to join blockchain or should I say mass adoption. The more people join, the more the market moves up further. If we depend only on the current users, we may remain where we are
