Unfortunate. What wallet did you actually use in the first place? Also, where did you store your private keys?

Instead of quitting, hopefully this becomes a lesson for you to do your research(especially in cryptocurrency security) before actually putting your money into cryptocurrencies.

What wallet did you download and why didn't you scan the wallet first before using it? If you had scan it and know it's a tampered wallet then you prevent this from happening. I don't think you can do anything to recover it, just be careful next time.

This virtual currency is such that once its gone there is no way of a reverse or refund like any other platforms like paypal. I myself have suffered a blow when the Mt Gox fraud happened way back in feb 2014 and i lost almost 8 BTC which i had purchased at a market rate of 350$ per BTC. I still feel the pinch today pal as it would have been so much more worth today. So learn to live with it and from next time be alert and careful when you deal in BTC my friend.

What ? You stored your private coin on your desktop ? It could be anyone who borrowed your pc, and copied your private key.
You should store your private key on somewhere safe place other than your desktop. At least somewhere in the deep folder on your computer, not desktop.

Sad news. And we are very sad for it. But the fact is that there is rampant incidents of hacking and scamming. But it seems no authorities are concerned about it. I have heard BiteBTC exchange is openly scamming traders out of thousands of dollars. But no action is taken against it so far. As for you, I think there is no way out unless authorities take some steps.

What you can do now is nothing, but in the future you can prevent it to happen again, my style is that i store my coins in our local country exchanger, which is hard for international users to accessed it, which is low probability of being hacked, storing in international wallet is prone for hacking as all crypto users can hacked if they can find a method, or you were able to provide them such delicate details, next time be more aware of the files you downloaded.

there is nothing you can do unfortunately. Your private key has been compromised due to the fact that you were not careful. The only thing you can do now is get a new wallet and get a new life. You can't stop the hackers now

Sorry. This is really terrible. No one is immune from fraudsters. It is necessary to keep funds in different wallets for security purposes and to check all your funds every time. You also need to be careful and attentive.

What particular wallet have you downloaded?

I think you downloaded a wrong wallet, actually I don't download wallet, every time I have ETH or ETH tokens, I just stored it in https://www.myetherwallet.com/, for years I've been using the site, and I never get hack as I know how to take care of my private key.

I do not think that you have any options untill the hacker himself refunds you and i also agree with other members here that you should post the details of the phishing or malware/spyware wallet that stole your details and private keys, it will be great service to the community as we can report thag wallet and save others from loss.

sorry butyouhaveno chances of getting it back. Also you should know that you have lost the wallet entirely since the hacker has your key. The best option is to forget the wallet, get a new one and then protect it from hack

Sorry, but there is nothing you can do to stop the hacker if he has already transfered the coins to a new address. What wallet did you use to store your ETH? And what altcoin wallet do you suspect was the trojan virus? You can put thoses informations in the scam accusation section.

If your wallet have any balance just move all of them into freshly created wallet and store the private key of the wallet in hard written format not in online drives or in your desktop. But the lost amount is lost, you can't recover them since once the transactions confirmed are irreversible, this can be a good lesson for you, next time please be aware of wallet you are using and learn how to save from hack attacks.

Very unfortunate of you, there is nothing you can do on your asset already. Next time you must be aware in that matter, its a lesson learn for you to be careful. And how did the scammer took your private key in your desktop ?

Tip: Next time save your private key in your gmail or email address to be secure.

There is nothing you can do to stop it. It is over for that address which is already empty.

Open a new address and act with more caution.

If that happens then it cannot be stopped because we do not know what time the hacker is sleeping and doing nothing, it is better to replace the wallet and assume that the hack is not your fortune, and be more careful in the future so that not arbitrarily making import wallet into a less trusted site, this is a valuable lesson for you.
