161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: We want true Decentralization in crypto but we use Centralized exchanges! on: February 17, 2020, 06:42:20 PM
Most DEX's is either FAKE (Not decentralized at all), or has very little volume/liquidity.

Blocknet developed the first true functional DEX on the market (Early 2018), and a lot of trading has been done on their platform, including OTC trades, which is 100% trustless when performed on a peer 2 peer exchange like the BLOCK DX.

You can read more about the DEX right here: https://blockdx.com/

In due time, I'm sure we'll see way way more people using these DEX's, which is probably why the price of the BLOCK coin itself rised more than 300% just recently.  Grin
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Deal with worst Market on: February 17, 2020, 06:20:17 PM
Sometime this is very painful when we are expecting a very positive, a very aggressive market but suddenly we see the whole market have crashed and all panic selling start. Here is what we need to do,

  • Sell our Coins and be safe
  • Wait for a little bounce back and exit
  • Let it be and remain Relax

That's the same as saying everyone should off have sold all their coins in January 2017, only to witness the biggest bull run happen in the whole crypto industry. The same thing is likely to happen, either this year, or next year.
Don't be so impatient!

Research
Invest
Hold on...

Blocknet bounced 300% just recently, one of the most undervalued projects I know off, and seems to make another move (20%+) despite the low volume.

Do your own research, Blocknet was the first project to develop a DEX, and is working on a decentralized oracle solution (currently in beta), so it's definitely a good idea to keep a good eye on this one.
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gone are the days where projects team ask for opinions from investors on: February 14, 2020, 04:59:09 PM
I believe you would LOVE Blocknet in this regard. Not only do they listen to their investors, (communicate pretty nicely on Discord and other socials), but the vast majority of their project is voted in by investors through "super blocks". Enough "yes" versus "no", and the proposal is funded. That's the beauty of a well established masternode coin.

Do some research, and I'm sure you'd love what you find. Creators of the first DEX on the market, working on a decentralized oracle network and much much more.  Smiley
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Blocknet] truly decentralized exchange | token ecosystem infrastructure on: February 14, 2020, 04:53:42 PM
With the new wallet update is it necessary to sync from scratch or can I just change the name of the old directory(.blocknetdx) to the new one(.blocknet) and it will continue from where I was left?

I just downloaded the bootstrap, replaced the files needed, and was up and running in like 10 mins, downloading the bootstrap itself was taking me the most time. That's by far the easiest way to update.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Portfolio 2020 { - p o l l - } on: February 13, 2020, 07:55:39 PM
Didn't get my chance to vote, but I'd say Blocknet is one of the most promising coins I know off. Recently gained 300% in price, and likely to continue it's upwards momentum, due to their work on decentralized oracles, and the fact that the team launched the first true DEX.

Still kicking myself for not investing more below $1, since I believe it will reach it's old ATH above $50 next bull run, due to it's very sarce supply.
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Blocknet. What's going on? on: February 13, 2020, 07:51:41 PM
I don't know these days about these old projects. Just because they've been in existence for more than 5 years doesn't mean they've been actively developing for 5 years. Just look at Dogecoin to understand how one of the oldest active altcoins hasn't had much done to it in what almost 3 years now? Maybe it's not ready maybe it never will be but yeah, age isn't much of a meaning in crypto if it doesn't have active users.

Comparing a meme coin with a project that actually HAS had active development for the past 5 years is out of this world man. Blocknet developed and launched the first DEX in the world. The community is very active, and the devs is delivering on everything they've promised thus far.

Do some research, it's not a coincidence it pumped 300% just recently.  Wink
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitbay and Blocknet - the best opportunities here or can someone suggest other? on: February 13, 2020, 07:41:43 PM
Both Bitbay and Blocknet is 2 very promising projects. I hold BLOCK, BTC, ETH, and a few other alts.

Blocknet is promising due to it's passive income streams through their oracle network services (XRouter), which I'm sure you're aware off, on top of their DEX, opening the opportunity to profit off DEX fees.

I don't think Blocknet actually leaked anything to Binance, not entirely sure though, I saw this video recently though, explaining it all: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JSCAelH_iuk

As for project recommendations, I believe ARK is due for a massive correction soon. Devs keeps delivering, should at least out compete LISK at some point.
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone trading on "Decentralized Exchanges"? on: February 13, 2020, 07:33:54 PM
As long you can fully control your asset, i think its enough for me to used the decentralized exchange.

The thread on here, @OP just want to shiling his website to everyone to use his website dex. However, since i dont really familiar with the site/dex i would skip for the exchange.

That's the official website of Blocknet's DEX. A project founded in 2014. I'm NOT the owner  Wink

How about bisq.network? It is open source DEX? I think it is one of the most popular DEX as far as I know. And there's a lot of DEX that members here have been playing around for years, like Etherdelta, although I agree that Binance DEX is not really that decentralized though.

I'm not really sure about (https://blockdx.com/) though, maybe it's good alternative, maybe not. If it's good then there's no need to shill for it. Sooner or later the community will find about it, give their comments around.

Bisq isn't decentralized unfortunately, but close. Arbitrators can oversee disputes, so if your arbitrator is malicious, the honest party gets rekt simple as that.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: CHAINLINK ,BAT future and price predictions??? on: February 12, 2020, 07:56:51 PM
Guys, I am planning to invest in chainlink a bit ..share your expertise views about it and growth potential, price predictions in it for the next 1-2 years Smiley Smiley

Careful with Chainlink, although a promising project, I don't think it's current price is justified compared to use case. A lot of people will hate on me for saying this out loud, but it's been gaining pretty heavily lately, and at some point it's gonna come crashing down on you, guaranteed. There is no guarantee that it's gonna continue gaining in value like it has previously.

Blocknet, a project similar to Chainlink, yet way way more decentralized in it's structure is a better play in my opinion. Not only do they work on their own decentralized oracle network (in beta, so you can try it out on your own) but they where also the first project to launch a truly decentralized exchange: https://blockdx.com/

Read more about their XRouter/XBridge, and their oracle network here: https://blocknet.co/xrouter-missing-link-between-all-blockchains/

Blocknet is an old project from 2014, saw a price jump of more than 300% as of lately, and seems to continue it's trend upwards, why?
Because a LOT of people want to secure a Blocknet Service node (5000 coins required). As a node operator you'll be able to profit from the oracle network services + block rewards + DEX fees.

In a couple of years you could easily make a living off a node, I'm sure.

Good luck, and remember to do your own research man Smiley
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are you looking at tokens that are not top 50? on: February 12, 2020, 07:49:51 PM
Do yourself a favor and read up on Blocknet mate.

Although not a "new" project, it's one of the most promising ones I know as of lately, due to their work on a decentralized oracle network similar to Chainlinks, but way more decentralized, so a few partnerships and this project will fly straight to the top. Read more about it here: https://blocknet.co/xrouter-missing-link-between-all-blockchains/

Also, Blocknet was the FIRST project to launch a truly trustless decentralized exchange. Pretty big deal, since they've got a LOT of advantages in this regard, running a 4th gen DEX, when most other DEX's out there is "just starting out".

The project recently gained a whopping 300%, and I predict it will re-enter Coinmarketcap's top 100 rank soon, as they've been working non-stop and delivering HUGE updates as of recently. (Read up on their Comet update if you want to).

Project is ranked at about 180 on Coinmarketcap, so it's got a LOT of room to grow still.  Wink
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why exchange coins moving up.. on: February 12, 2020, 07:40:08 PM
There was a time when investors and newbies went on a crazy spree to invest on exchange tokens like BNB, OKB, BIX, HUOBI TOKEN, Kucoin Shares and Aurora...

Many of them strated pumping from 3-4 days and it was not a small one. I have seen that this happens when BTC moves big. What is your opinion on this..?
Exchange coins are getting more popular among the new investors as well so the prices are really driving crazy. BNB is moving up vigorously which might be the sign that the alts seasons is arriving. The demand for such coins is usually rising because people find benefits in holding such coins which derives the price onto peaks.

Exchanges are the backbone of the decentralized markets and that is what makes them more popular because each and every investor/trader would always need a exchange to convert their funds and in this situation they would directly or indirectly use the coin used by that specific exchange(BNB in terms of binance) which would continue driving the price onto next peak.

Decentralized exchanges will take a great amount of the total trading volume eventually, because a LOT of people is sick and tired of all the KYC bullshit, exchanges freezing your funds, banning your account, or questions your incoming transactions for instance.

I'd much rather invest in a DEX coin, which will allow me to take part in the trading fees on the network, and earn DEX fee's passively, as I'll do on the Blocknet network soon (Once I've accumulated 5000 coins for a service node). Pretty much the reason it gained 300% the past month. Everyone wants a piece of the pie, I guess, haha.

On top of that, this project is working on a decentralized oracle network, which you can ALSO profit from by running a service node, win/win Wink
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Anyone trading on "Decentralized Exchanges"? on: February 12, 2020, 07:32:59 PM
Hey guys.

As of recently, we've seen a TON of DEX's being released, some of them better than others.
Which ones have you used personally? Which one do you like the most?

There's so many FAKE DEX's out there, that it's laughable. Binance "DEX", Waves DEX, IDEX, and more. None of these is truly decentralized at all

Been playing around with the Blocknet DEX: https://blockdx.com/ - And like it very much. Only thing that annoys me a little is that you need the blockchains (wallet's) fully synced with the DEX to trade, other than that, it's pretty easy to trade, and best of all, trustless.

Looking forward to their Litewallet, which will be a multi currency wallet, you can trade from without downloading any blockchains.

Thoughts? I'd love to know what you guys trade on.  Smiley
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has Blockchain Technology revolution is successful or not? on: February 09, 2020, 05:02:23 PM
Blockchain interoperability and decentralization will be the most important factor for mainstream adoption.
What's the point of thousands of different blockchains that can't communicate? Makes 0 sense in a world of different options and opinions.

Blocknet's primarily focus is to link blockchains and real world applications together through decentralized oracles. Read up on their XRouter, here: https://blocknet.co/introducing-xrouter-developers-can-now-mix-and-match-any-blockchain-via-the-worlds-first-blockchain-router/

More over, everyone needs to benefit from decentralization. We've seen so many exchanges taken down due to hacks, fraud, and other scandals. Never have the general crypto enthusiasts been more concerned about decentralization than now, you basically see these discussions everywhere.

Blocknet's DEX: https://blockdx.com/ Reached more than $100,000 in daily volume a few days ago, which is pretty impressive considering that most people seem to neglect these trading platforms, when in reality, they are the safest options, and removes the middleman completely. Wink
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Blocknet. What's going on? on: February 09, 2020, 04:12:56 PM
So it seems like Blocknet's new "Comet Update" enables node owners to STAKE their collateral as well!

Quote
Staking & Network Improvements
While the migration to Bitcoin’s v18 codebase brings with it security and network stability, the majority of the improvements will be coming from the decision to move to a single tier block reward system and moving the Service Node list to being on-chain (more on that in the Service Node section below).
As it currently stands with our double tier block reward system, the staker earns 30% of the block reward (0.3 BLOCK) and the Service Nodes earn 70% of the block reward (0.7 BLOCK). There are three primary issues with this setup.
The first issue is that for this system to function it relies on a Service Nodes list as part of the consensus protocol. This means the blockchain requires a non-blockchain based side chain to operate, opening the doors for significant instability because nobody can agree on the list due to it being off-chain. When nobody can agree on the list it results in forks because the list is part of the consensus model which results in nodes banning each other if they can’t agree.
The second issue is that in this old design Service Nodes weren’t able to stake. Because the collateral for a Service Node is 5k BLOCK and we have over 400 nodes, this greatly reduces the security of the network.

Source: https://blocknet.co/introducing-blocknet-comet-mandatory-update/

Pretty interesting, and I really wonder if this will tricker people to buy up nodes again to profit from:

Masternode rewards + Staking rewards
DEX trading fees
Decentralized Oracle Network Fees (XRouter)

This could be one of the triggers for the latest movement, question is, will it keep going up?
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which Crypto Should I Invest In 2020 ? on: January 31, 2020, 02:26:22 AM
Voted BTC.

But in reality, I'd buy more BLOCK, since it seems like such an undervalued project these days.

Their DEX was the first to hit the market, and ever since they launched it, everyone has requested for Ethereum and EOS to be added to the platform, which is finally happening now, which is probably why the price increased lately.

I'm more excited about their decentralized oracle service, which is currently in beta, but you can already pull a lot of blockchain data from it, which is pretty cool!
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gem Coins that is still at ATL in my List on: January 30, 2020, 11:53:54 PM
There is so many hidden gems out there.

Check Blocknet, performed pretty well the past 2 weeks, pretty much doubled in price, and is finding new lows, until the next run.
Incredibly undervalued considering they made the first functional DEX + works on decentralized oracles. Just recently they announced they will add full node support for ETH and EOS, which is a pretty important milestone!

Read more about the DEX itself here: https://blockdx.com/
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2020 - The Year Of Decentralization. Thoughts? on: January 10, 2020, 07:10:32 PM
I don't think that 2020 is the year of decentralization. Because as time goes by, we are getting further away from decentralization. Before bitcoin was born and there was complete anonymity and now KYCs exist and centralized sites exist. But we can't blame them since they provide faster service compared to decentralized sites.

You gotta understand that projects like Blocknet, and other DEX orientated companies is working hard on the whole user experience. Soon you wont even see the difference between a DEX and a CEX.
There's a lot of FAKE "DEX's" out there, so better avoid them.

Blocknet will get a lot of competiton, and already has, but it's definitely the most decentralized exchange of them all if you actually research the code.
It's a good long term play for sure!
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Preferred altcoin for bullrun? on: January 10, 2020, 07:07:55 PM
Outside the top 50, I'm betting my money on Blocknet

Leading in the DEX development, and was the first project to even release a DEX.
Decentralized Oracles through their XRouter services. Pretty bullish on this one  Cool
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What Might Be The First Exchange To Close Down or Exit Scam in 2020? on: January 10, 2020, 07:05:06 PM
It's kinda ironic that we even need to discuss this, as the need for centralized exchanges is slowly fading away, day by day. The demand for DEX's is increasing, and fast. Sure I understand the sceptics out there, but let's face it. It's gonna happen slowly, but surely.

Most people are SICK and tired of KYC, exchange hacks, wallet maintenances at the worst possible times, and the list goes on and on.

Blocknet is leading the DEX development, and is a project I'm personally watching very closely. https://blockdx.com/

It makes me sick, that these centralized exchanges could at any time run away with everyones money, under the disguise of being "hacked".  Roll Eyes

True, hopefully DEX's will be adopted at a larger scale in the coming future!  Grin
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waiting for the rise of all altcoins on: January 10, 2020, 07:02:49 PM
Definitely believing the same. Altcoins will soon rise along with BTC, and I actually believe a lot of altcoins will outperform BTC in terms of ROI.

Decentralization seems to be the next big thing, so I'm considering investing in projects like Blocknet, who's running a TRUE DEX, and decentralized oracles through their XRouter services Smiley
