I would vote to leave Clam as it is with no changes.

Ok from august 25 (when i finished the first sync at all) seems that all the nodes of arbit died, if somebody knows something please post a possible new conf file
I now only have two connections: "addr" : "76.6.81.251:55350", "addr" : "[2605:e000:6198:2601:1995:b9a2:2e66:b6cf]:31930", Ok going to test those soon and if possible slam those to bit1 if works because if are working bit1 credibility of his deadlist starts to go down (because he doesn't really check the coins!) I opened up my firewall and now have five connections and should be running a full node now. 5.9.36.211:58557 151.80.42.180:34912 118.211.232.118:51883 76.6.81.251:55350 2605:e000:6198:2601:1995:b9a2:2e66:b6cf]:31930 Edit: Nine connections now. Arbit network working fine.

i have active connection to network but still no sync:(
I had to open ports in my firewalls, router and antivirus, when I started using BUN wallet.

I am having problem to synchronized my wallet. Could somebody provide a good list of working nodes please? Thanks!

One option is to create a new coin/token with Ethereum https://www.ethereum.org/tokenWe could give the coin a new name and Build a better community around it Maybe do a swap of like 1 new coin for every 5000 vegas and burn the swapped coins Would could offer a swap for BARR, if there was a working VegasCoin block explorer. There is a Vegascoin block explorer here: https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/BlockExplorer?coin=VGC

never mined, from the OP seems like there's no exchange yet, right?
BUN is traded on Bleutrade and Cryptopia. BUN/DOGE BUN/LTC
|
|

Block 600,000 is approaching. Mining rewards will be cut to 10,000 BUN max per block.

I have noticed that I am the only one solo mining Bunnycoin again. I will do my best to keep some hashrate on my wallet but if I go down then the blockchain will get stuck at the next charity block.
Edit: You can disregard this message if someone were to help out and solo mine some BUN.

Am I the only one missing the exchanges from the op?
Bun is traded on Bleutrade and Cryptopia.

Although the coin even looks like it has some nice features I don't really like the name.
I would like to understand why the name Bunnycoin...
The original dev liked bunnys and thought the name would be a good way to promote love, peace and charity.

Yeah, I am replying to myself. LOL But it makes sense because I want to leave an example of what I meant when I posted last: Looks like my miner was down for an hour or so, just noticed that the blockchain wasn't moving so started the miner back up. Mined block #553619 in about 30 seconds and got the blockchain moving again. So my questions to the BUN community: Am I messing things up by mining erratically? Or am I just imagining that my hashrate has an impact? Happy to back off and let others have the BUN I would be mining if that helps. Thanks.
edit: meant #553620
edit 2: Or is this some other issue? I just noticed that I only mined 3 of the last 30 blocks since this post. Not really that high of a percentage. Maybe a solo mining thing?
If you go to the old thread you can read about this issue. Most miners use pools and most pools can not solve the charity blocks that happen every 60 blocks. If no one is solo mining then the blockchain can get stuck, even with a high hash rate.

@CryptoCoderz
I apologize for my words. I just wanted to give others confidence and didn't expect to hear someone's that it's dead coin.
Implement the KGW if possible or did you find other solutions? As less I see many other coins implement it so I think it's OK to bunny. I mined very little of bunnies. I just store some coins. But the transactions need to be confirmed by the mining. The 4 hours retarget is really too long if the big miners leave.
I have about 12 MH/s that I solomine for this coin. Sometimes I lose my internet connection and BUN seems to stall on the confirmations, when I reconnect, I start seeing blocks again. Is that what is happening? I mined about a billion or so for myself and plan on giving away what I mine from here on out somehow if I keep it up, but would it be better for BUN if I just quit mining if that is the case? I know that 12MH/s is quite small compared to larger coins, but might be a significant amount here. I kept Bunnycoin alive with 12 MH/s for months. If my wallet, or computer, crashed then bunnycoin would get stuck until I got back up and running again. Hash rate can be erratic due to the difficulty re-target time and miners running up the difficulty then leaving. Any amount of hash is helpful to the BUN network.

Hmm my wallet is staking fine and working like a champ.I didnt know there was a problem.
Which is your conf? at me didn't sync at all but got stuck to a specific block I have good synchrony. Coin without the developer, but she was alive. The price is almost at the bottom, it seems, it is time to buy. Then if at you is working maybe you have some connection to some node... are you using a conf? i rechecked and i was running my wallet with the nodes that were hardcoded. My wallet is working fine with hardcoded nodes and no conf file. Here are nodes I'm connected to: addnode=178.167.75.169:31930 addnode=82.66.55.40:31930 addnode=85.25.198.151:31930

I guess my early voting helped raise some awareness of Vegas coin at Cryptopia. I saw it near the bottom of the voting list, back in late June. I was hoping that getting it off of the bottom, more people would vote for it. I was hoping it would get listed before Comkort shut down. Since I could not get the wallet to work. Thought I could transfer coins to Cryptopia. So do you have a working wallet yet? Must have, otherwise Cryptopia would not have listed it. DUH! Think I will try and buy some again. Hopefully, I will not have to dump them again, since I could not get wallet to work right. Maybe can get Vegas coin back into the spotlight again!
Peace, Dennis
My vegascoin wallet has always worked, it just has problems that need fixed. I have over 100k stuck in blockchain as unconfirmed. Here are some nodes: addnode=107.191.108.93:52400 addnode=198.27.80.162:52400 addnode=81.4.111.126:52400

Looks like I broke something, transferred large amount from Comkort 100k+ and seemed immediately chain went down. Approx. 12cmt
Transactions over 10,000 VGC have been known to get stuck. I have several stuck transactions, nearly 86k total.

Bringing on a well known dev to make things run smooth. Wont mention name unless they want to reveal. Still working on final details.
What we know so far that wont change: Algo: Scrypt Brand new wallet written from ground up, new chain, new addnodes, new graphics POW and POS hybrid Mineable for years to come VERY low coin count Coin swap (if possible). The ratio will be extreme: something like 50:1 to bring money supply WAY down < 1 Mil
Vegas
I like it! I really like the low coin count idea.
