Hey, I'm getting 50h/s with an AMD Phenom II X6 1090T. is this normal?

also would an intelcore i5-4690 3.5ghz turbo 6 mb box get me more? thanks..

Well the AMD Phenom II X6 1090T is a non-AES CPU.. You may have better luck with the i5-4690 it is an AES CPU..

Hey , i need some help.

Is solomining still profitable ?

Is there a miner to buy ?

Thank you very mutch ,

Depending on your gear (rig/setup and how many rigs you have..) it will be pretty hard to solo with the nethash we have atm.. But there are 3 pools you can choose from..

I solo with my 5 Dual CPU Xeon servers.. If you have this kind of set up you can still manage pretty will.. But it will increase the temperature of the room they are in trust me on it.. 😅

Buy a miner? Do you mean dedicated mining hardware? If so, there is no dedicated mining hardware available for HOdls algo

OK. Interesting coin.

Is there a way of automating deposit feature using console commands?

Like:

sendtoaddress "HMPyPLK8A6MXJ4Kxo7aRRsnSgWVuYAKeNG" 5 HODL for 12 (months,days,blocks).

Yeah definitely needed, we have it on our list to do..

Private Key Dump/Import Guide

Dump (extract)
1. Run HOdlcoin-QT (open the wallet)
2. Select Help
3. Select Debug Window
4. Select Console
5. If you encrypted your wallet, unlock it by Typing: walletpassphrase "YourLongPassphrase" 600 (walletpassphrase <passphrase> <timeout>)
6. Type: dumpprivkey <your HOdlcoin address here>
7. This will return the private key, you can copy it now; ensure you clear your clipboard/history afterwards
8. Type: walletlock

Example: dumpprivkey HodlDsNuts57MFNiN8CMrMjC2CYAy8pwi9

Import
1. Run HOdlcoin-QT (open the wallet)
2. Select Help
3. Select Debug Window
4. Select Console
5. If you encrypted your wallet, unlock it by Typing: walletpassphrase "YourLongPassphrase" 600 (walletpassphrase <passphrase> <timeout>)
6. Type: importprivkey <hodlcoinprivkey>
7. Type: walletlock

Example: importprivkey 5KJvsngHeMpm884wtkJNzQGaCErckhHJBGFsvd3VyK5qMZXj3hS

This is for the newcomers to Crypto.. Dump doesn't remove this key from the wallet.dat file.. it simply gives it to you.. when taking it from one wallet to another.. both wallets will be able to access funds in this address... there is no problem with that.. I just wanted to clear it up..

Newbies should not be going around exposing their privkey in the first place. The second thats done, the security of that address should be doubted and thus should never be used again.

I recommend to everyone not to expose their Nuts!

However  I understand the point that you're making..  Even though he asked to move a single deposit it may be more safe/wise to move the whole encrypted wallet...
When I have a second I will post how to back up/copy the  encrypted Wallet.dat file..  This method is more secure however it will copy your entire wallet and not just a singular deposit ..

Is it possible the run the wallet without mining and without using 1gb of memory ?
(Still while HODLing interests )

THX !

Yep your more then welcome to open and close the wallet.. Switch mining on and off... All as you please.. Your wallet behavior has no bearing on your interest both standard and term deposit interest is handled on the blockchain.. The wallet is simply a tool used to access the blockchain..

Ok !! that's very good to know !
But how can I put HODL into a deposit with a address from a wallet on a computer, and then claim the coins from another wallet from another computer ?

Dump the deposit addresses private key.. then import that key in to the other wallet.. let me know if you need this broken down to steps..

I think that might be usefull for everyone to know, no ? Wink
Thx

Its sorta like a paper wallet..

Does anyone know how to import a paper wallet in the hodl GUI ? Or to send coins from a paper wallet ?

Thanks  Smiley

1. Run HOdlcoin-QT (open the wallet)
2. Select Help
3. Select Debug Window
4. Select Console
5. If you encrypted your wallet, unlock it by entering walletpassphrase "YourLongPassphrase" 600
6. Type importprivkey <hodlcoinprivkey>

Example: importprivkey 5KJvsngHeMpm884wtkJNzQGaCErckhHJBGFsvd3VyK5qMZXj3hS

I will give you a more clear step by step for your case in my next post..

Man we have some nice  consistent HOdling going on.. Oh one of the charts on the new BE will show avg. coins being HOdled per block..

So at block height 41397, the avg. HODL deposited was 213.18382103 per block.. So with 50 HODL mined each block.. 163 HODL more is being locked up then mined.. now this doesn't count the amount of interest being earned.. but its just fun looking at these numbers.. I think you will all like this new BE..

Nice little bump in avg. HOdled per block

So the current bonus interest rate on deposits is 1410% right?

Just to be sure that http://hodlcoin.github.io/ is reporting correctly

You have to take in the multiplier as well ..  The rate on one year (Time of post) is ~ 2799%

Long term deposits are increasing apparently... the market volume needs to grow significantly by the time the 1 year plus deposits are over.

Yeah like I have said a few times.. there is no real way to know what ppl will do once these big deposits open.. however if you have invested a years time in a currency.. and then you are handed a large sum of coins and have a few options of what you could do.. 1. Relock at ~238%  2. Let it set unlocked (not deposited) in a wallet and gain standared intrest on a huge sum.. which you could then sell the interest and make a nice steady flow of income.. 3. sell some and then do option 1 or 2 with the rest.. 4. Dump the whole damn thing.. and profit the least of all the other options.. on a coin you have followed for a year or more.. I guess I just see most ppl doing 1, 2 or 3.. time will tell..

If I understand correctly the grey in the left graph is the supply from mining and the grey
in the right chart is the float. Is that correct.

Edit: I hope this isn't feature creep but may suggest giving an indication of the time coin is locked up?
Perhaps the radius of the slice could indicate it in a stepped form, with steps at one month, 3 months
and 6 months. I think this would be valuable investor info.

If by "float" you mean the remaining supply out there not locked up then yes..

as far as "indication of the time coin is locked up" we have a few things for this.. We have a chart showing individual deposits matured value overlaying on top of the projected total matured total.. we have a chart with each deposits as they are made.. and we have all this info in each Tx info page..

Yes, I mean the supply avaible for trade. And, awesome on the plans. I guess I jumped the gun with my suggestion and should
wait to see the full picture.

No problem.. I don't want to ruin all the surprises.. and we are always open for suggestions
