To answer the question above, no you don't need matching PSU. You can mix and match.
Anyone have 4 or more Nvidia running on the same rig mining with Claymore? I can get 3 to work together but when it's 4 or above it would crash with those errors about FANs and stuff. Doesn't matter if it's version 6.2 or 6.4
v6.3 work fine

Fixed now on Suprnova It was a little better , but still , a miner lie or Pool and another pops up periodically in the miner is the message : GPU #2: result for 57649460 does not validate on CPU! cards are not overclock

Win 8.1 6xGTX1070 ccminer-rel1.8.2-veltor-x64 It does not work very strange. Each time you run the .bat file different speeds are shown on GTX1070: 3800kh , 4300kh , 5600kh , 6100kh . and will not change any more nor downwards until it is restarted .bat We have several times to close and restart the miner is not yet displayed 6100kh starts , but the pool is displayed only 50 % hash.

Celeron G1620, PRO BTC, 6xGTХ1070, Win 8.1, Driver 372.54 WHQL. EthDcrMiner load CPU 60-80%, because this is not a stable hash, is this normal? + when stopping miner, sometimes, driver stops responding.

Just for reference My GTX 750ti SC EVGA cards do 1.79 Mhash average (50 of these on spr at the moment) with no OC beyond factory. These are purpose built rigs with 8gb of RAM and Celeron CPUs 3 x GTX 950 does right at 2 Mhash alongside 2 750ti in the same machine.
A GTX 970 windforce does 4.5Mhash, but this is a much faster CPU (don't know if this matters).
I have 2 5-card GTX 960 machines that are absolute MONSTERS at everything I have tried them on. I don't remember the exact hashrate they did on spr, but I think they were about 500 watts at the wall. They are on something else at the moment, and at a different location, so I can't verify.
I haven't measured the power draw any of my faster cards, because they are not dedicated miners. I'll try to get the 970 numbers for reference This is using sp mod 8 private miner, because he hasn't sent me any updates. My email address changed after I bought it, so I can't blame him. But I have been EXTREMELY happy with everything I have purchased from him.
ALL are rock solid, and will run for a month+ at a time. A 6-card 750ti machine will draw 375 watts at the wall with no voltage mods. That could probably be significantly lower, but I haven't played with it because they are dead stable on anything I have mined with them
Just for reference, also sp mod 9 private miner Rig 2xGTX1070 power limit100 -> 2x6,8Mh = 13,6Mh 350watts Rig 2xGTX1070 power limit 49 -> 2x5,2Mh = 10,4Mh 220watts =))

Can someone point me to some newbie instructions? I have 8x 380s and in Afterburner the settings are all locked. I know there are other ways around it. I just need to be pointed in the right direction. GPU-Z + TongaBiosEditor + ATIWinflash

@Sp - How are you getting 5000mh/s on the GTX 970? I am using your version 9 and can only get at most 4100 mh/s.

are there side and end views of this setup? ...
im impressed ...

Photos taken during assembly That's bad ass.
Got to love it when you can mine so compacted and not overheat or burn out the power cable or extension lead; or burn the walls. Is that a paint pot just outside?
2 years mining fine, no problems , plug and forget = )

good info, guys, thanks. What is this cable/adapter called that allows you to use all 6 PCIe slots? I mean because the slots are too close together on the board. PCIe-Riser? EDIT: I need some of those or PCIe-extension cables... It is strange that you ask such questions as Bud is only today learned about mining ...

Please tell me how to remove the limit on the 4 connecting the wallet ? How to start 5-6 rig?
p.s. already found: By default you can mine only from 4 machines to the same wallet, to increase this limit set rpcthreads to value greater than 4 in spreadcoin.conf. =)
May I ask what your 5-6 rig looks like? What are the exact specifications? How many mainboards are you using? 2 GPUs per Mainboard? Some photos would be awesome. Thanks. 36х750Ti, Asrock PRO BTC =)

How to understand, which particular card is GPU0 etc?
-di GPU indexes, default is all available GPUs. For example, if you have four GPUs "-di 02" will enable only first and third GPUs (#0 and #2). Use -di 0 and see which card is loaded, then use -di 01 and see what the new card has become loaded , etc.
