Can you substantiate your claim that they got 44 BTC from that DCM IPO? Any proof? Any reason why the DCM Team are ignoring you in the first place? Have you been burned by investing on DCM?
It have been mentioned multiple times on dcm thread that member of the team receive each 22 btc. The IPO raised almost 140 BTC and it's split even among the 6 member of the team and each receive 22 btc. I don't even care about the price, i know lost is part of the game. What i'm complaining is why they lock the thread without any explanation and never replied my message asking for explanation. I know they login today. I'd suspect it's due to our friend Bob. His last post veered from trolling into the somewhat gray area of criminal harassment. They really should start a moderated thread for DCM. Although at this point it may not even matter. I believe that is what it was....I saw the threat as well. They should immediately start a moderated thread and get DCM going. This last issue will surely destroy any attempt to revive the coin. And I too cannot get them to respond to PMs. I have been a strong supporter of that coin from day 1 even with all the FUD and loss in value. I lost quite a bit of money with DCM. Please don't make that troll BOB right. |

The reality here is that the digital coin market is inhabited by non commercial people at this point in time however as the technology is adopted by the commercial entities they will be attracted to this type of coin.An encrypted messaging service built into the wallet for professionals within the legal profession,maybe security professionals and any others who would find this feature useful would be beneficial.
The anon feature is good for privacy for consumers of say sensitive medication,etc or whatever but if the anon feature is better than others a free version and maybe a paid version such as licence for use per year would even make it more attractive with psychological value due to professionals not trusting free open source software etc in business.Also such technology when perfected should be patented where possible and other features protected with trade mark and copyright.
I am speaking only for this commercial type coin.
This technology is new and it is staking a claim in an untapped market before some big player with a large corporate budget jumps in and takes over.You need to build a brand for now and do the spadework right and seriously evolve into a doing business on the blockchain type of company/organisation.  Therein lies a problem. Devs hoped that a coin created to have a commercial application would succeed today, when in fact the market is not ready for it. Will the market/traders eventually be ready for it? Sure.....but right now that is not the case. So I wonder if it would just make sense to put the development towards a commercial application on hold, and concentrate on the things that could make this coin flourish now. Re-build the coin that way, increase the market cap, use the newly acquired funds from a larger market cap and put it towards the commercial development. Something has to bring investors back. It's a great coin, with a lot of good ideas, but the market doesn't see it as such. MAKE IT NOTICE! |

Bear in mind there are only 233 DCM wallets with a balance greater than 0, excluding the Bittrex exchange wallet.
At this moment, for only 25+ BTC the devs could buy all DCM off the exchange wallet and stabilize DCM.
The question is, how committed are these devs, if at all...
That's the scary thing. Only 233 wallets, other than what is on Bittrex. Not a lot of owners willing to hold long-term right now. |

For what it's worth, we're also disappointed that there is virtually no market reaction to what we've put out so far. But we'll keep at it and eventually it will pick up. We are going down what I would call a "rational path"; if we do what we promised it really should result in major value gains. If it doesn't then you can probably forget being rational about the altcoin market and go back to chasing the hot coin of the week.
It's interesting that you bring up rationality. I haven't been into cryptos very long (started in Jan), and at first figured it'd be like how stocks work, or a regular investment -- people would invest based on features, developers, quality of coin and so on. But by now, I think rationality doesn't play nearly as large a role in regard to a coin's price as it should. Actually I think logic and rationality sometimes play very small roles. Otherwise we wouldn't get the hot coin of the week ... the new anon coin that skyrockets up, based on an anon promise or very iffy code... or no anon code at all... nation coins would never, ever have been worth what they were, and so on. So it's okay to be rational from a dev standpoint, but just don't assume that investors will be. The lack of market reaction probably is due to the fact that nobody knows a timetable for any of the proposed things, nor can believe with 100% certainty the devs will deliver. And you don't get the benefit of new anon hype as the coin has already been pumped/dumped once -- I also expect very few are following the coin, so they may not even know about the things proposed. So the way to increase price is to implement something... anything... from that list of features. And I'd also suggest using ipo money to buy/rent machines to mine on the multipool and get some price support going. Rationality definitely goes out the window when dealing with cryptos. Everyone is looking to get rich quick. Some are good at it, but most get burned. I'm hoping this irrational thinking will eventually give way to rational investing. But currently those alts (in my opinion) that are considered rational investments, are the coins struggling. Most of the money I have tied up in alts, I have distributed between a few coins of which none I want to sell off because if I'm trying to be patient and I truly believe I will be rewarded. Sometimes though, I wonder if I should just take out 1-3 BTC just to "play" with and make some extra coin on the side. The problem with this is that the market would have to be watched almost all day every day with a constant fear of that particular "hot" coin tanking at any given second. |

Is there a second block explorer for DCM ? http://dcm.blockexplorer.cc/chain/DCM seems to be stuck @block 20162 , when my wallet shows 20359 And more important, my BitTrex withdrawal is not showing yet on my wallet (should be within minutes doesn't it ?)... I'm giving it a an hour or two before trying to resync, and if needed, filling a support ticket @bittrex Wish I could help and tell you what block my wallet is on (but I don't have access to it for the next 9 hours). As far as the withdrawls from Bittrex, I have had some that were really quick (within 10 minutes), and I've had others that took up to an hour. Did you get an email asking you to confirm your withdrawal? Bittrex won't send the funds until you've confirmed it. If you didn't receive confirmation of your withdrawal request, check your spam folder. |

How does something like RZR start out on Bittrex today and it's over 100k satoshi? 2 million total coins (currently just over ~769,000), an anon feature utilizing the TOR network. And we are at 3k satoshi. Something just is not right with that. How are we not higher, and why is there no buy support for DCM?

OK, Good to know! Thanks So many coins, and not staking them ? seriously it's hard to believe... BitTrex looks very professional, and beside DCM, I didn't have any issue using their services. However, I'm still very cautious using any online service, and if the coin rises fast like it will eventually happen, I would be very worried... My avatar still showing scars from good'o'times  I hear ya! Staking is free money, and if the intention is to be in DCM long-term, I don't see why anyone would want to keep their coins on the exchange. Though they have disabled deposits/withdrawals for DCM for the last 3 days. I have coins on the site, that I would love to get off so I can stake them. But until they fix that issue, I will have to keep them there. I wonder how many others are trying to pull them off? |

Hmmm....OK. I just thought it was odd that I went from 100% staking accuracy to below 50%. Thanks for the quick reply. It is normal. As time passes, more and more transactions are staking. Remember that PoS is ~ like PoW during initial mining: many orphaned blocks because many are solo-mining. PoS is like solo-mining (well, it is solo mining but on a different level ) Hi Mindfox, What are the chances of a double spending attack using PoS ? I thought it could not be possible because of the biggest wallet holding >50% of coins (which is in honest hands I suppose)Could explain with your clear words how it could be happening ? Any idea why payouts are disabled on bittrex? We want to pay out miners of the multipool, but bittrex does not allow withdrawls in dCom?!
They might be re-syncing their wallet. could be, but its blocked already for almost 2 days.. Devs can you check with bittrex please?! We're in contact with Bittrex and hope/expect things to be fixed soon. Any word from Bittrex on what the issue is? Would love to pull my coins off the exchange to put them in my wallet so I can begin staking them. |

30k market cap. What a joke.
Well, if you feel bad, look at Mil or XLC. Things could always be worse. DCM is still at least in the btc volume range and around 1/2 ipo values currently. If it can at least maintain these levels until new things are brought out, it may not be so bad. What I think it comes down to is, the devs need to show something. Those new wallet things are great, but the price won't stabilize until they show either wallet improvements, the marketplace, new exchanges, something. It's just the way it is, as people are naturally skeptical and the Bob situation certainly didn't help matters. If the price can just be stable where it is, it could buy them some time. If not, they better hurry and get something out there. Mindfox would be a good catch. Although I thought he was working on another coin too currently? Watercoin, or something else? Or maybe I am getting confused. Crypt has whales pumping it, which is good and bad... when they leave, I'm not sure what will be left of the coin. The same aftermath of any coin after a whale has left with his profits. A ghost shell. |

30k market cap. What a joke.
Considering I'm holding a bit of DCM, and the fact there's less than 1.4 mil coins...none of this price makes sense. As a community maybe we need to start asking whales to get this going, I spoke with the Devs and they may hire Mindfox when he's done with the cryptcoin anon wallet. If his presence on crypt has caused a price spike... There's so much opportunity in this coin, start asking whales. +1. I don't get it either. The devs have been active, and a lot has been accomplished in the roughly two weeks it's been out. How is there not more interest? I'm continuing to hold and haven't sold. I do think it will recover, just wondering what it will actually take to get it going back up. |
