I think one of the reason why mintpal or poloniex are not adding cloak on their exchange is because of the exchange anon function. This has never been done before and to their perspective, it is a big unknown. Maybe the devs are talking to them and explaining how the anon exchange function works, maybe they're waiting for this function to be tested and proven. who knows whats going on behind the scene?
I don't expect any big exchange to add cloak until the anon exchange function has been successfully implemented and tested.
They added dark and xc, both of those claim first anon coin but are yet to produce working anon function. Cloak actually could become the first truly working anon coin which is a HUGE thing. Testing starts very soon (today and tomorrow) |

Anyone know why I keep getting "waiting for work to be available from pools" message in my miner every couple of minutes when Im on dedicated pools? It doesnt happen at all on any other pool  |

used this conf on a fresh wallet. moved my original wallet.dat to a safe location and started a new one from scratch with that conf. Successfully downloaded the correct blockchain. Deleted my new wallet.dat file and replaced it with the one from my original wallet and opened it back up. Opened the debug window and repiarwallet found my coins. Thanks for everyones help tonight! |

it seems that I'm everywhere but not on the right chain. I added the nodes that were mentioned in the first post and the nodes that were mentioned a few pages behind. I tried to start the sync from the beginning creating a new folder but then my coins in the wallet disappeared after i copied it to the %roaming%cloakcoin folder .... **weired** What new folder? You mean the .conf file? I removed the cloakcoin folder in the AppData/Roaming/ Directory. Of course I made a backup of it before deleting it. Then I started the new cloakcoin-qt and waited for sync. Then I copied my original wallet.dat into this "new" folder. open the debug console and type repairwallet, your coins should come back if you are using the correct wallet.dat file |

still cannot get on the correct fork. I have used every combo of addnodes posted, maxconnections=5, I keep getting close but at the last minute it goes from 8900 of 9500 blocks to 8500 of 8900 blocks. and I can never get the last 600 or so blocks because it will say up to daye once it gets the 8900th block |

for some reason wallet will never sync with maxconnections=5... if i delete it i am afraid that i will get on a bad node and screw up my chain again. If I leave it, the connection status flickers but never picks up a connection

got it, conf addnode=24.115.0.79

reindex=1
just close,start,close,start... and at one moment began to synchronize (possible catch good peer) now synchronized with my wallet.dat, and without my coins lol ( reindex and now all coin in wallet!!) this is so weird, it showed that i was on block 8700 of 9579, i alt tabbed to type that i thought i was finally on the right chain. Then I came back to my wallet and it says 169 of 8949 to go... so I WAS on the right fork for a minute, now it is frozen on 169 blocks remaining of 8949 for the last 10 minutes |

I appeared to sync but as soon as I unlocked my wallet for staking it had a bunch of blocks and now I am disconnected.
