for some reason wallet will never sync with maxconnections=5... if i delete it i am afraid that i will get on a bad node and screw up my chain again. If I leave it, the connection status flickers but never picks up a connection

seems supernova finally noticed they're on the wrong fork, looks like they fixed it but still have issues with their backend server.

Sweet! good to hear this!

If the Anon feature is successful and the Cool new features the devs are promising we should see cloak have at least a 5 Million market cap if all goes good? My predictions possible 1$ per coin maybe if anon feature is successfully implemented on Friday.

If Cloak is added to mintpal without going through the voting process, that 1$ valuation might turn into 2-5$ per coin based on anon works.

@ocminer

your not alone, been fighting with the wallet too, for some reason it keeps jumping back onto the old fork. Seems to finally be on the right fork.

I'll take a stab. this is just a guestimate and you may get better results asking your neighbor. You've been warned. I say, taking number of coins and anonymity features into consideration, a range of .001-.01 is fair. This coin has taken some dumps pretty easily. Recovering quickly. So, not a hard estimate, but I think it's reasonable. Others may disagree.
[edit] I know there's  a lot of talk about getting on x exchange. Well, with drk, there was that talk as well. The volume of drk trading could not be ignored. As well, cloak volume is pretty insane and will not be ignored either. Money (and trade fees ) talk.[/edit]

My wallet is working fine now. POW ends later today and I am excited to see what effect it will have on the price.

1 or 2 satoshi's. I'm serious.

Don't ever hold these coins. Just buy on the low, sell when it goes up.

Only coin to hold is BTC itself

Thats normal, your coins are now working for you Smiley

Your staking meaning your now earning coins via POS. See the little icon at the bottom right corner beside the number of connections, a green circle I assume (when staking), hover over it and it will show you some info. Leave your wallet opened when staking is over your coins will return to your balance and a few extra coins along with it.

Everyone on correct fork now that corresponds with the block explorer?

http://cloak.blockexplorer.cc/chain/CloakCoin

it seems that I'm everywhere but not on the right chain. I added the nodes that were mentioned in the first post and the nodes that were mentioned a few pages behind. I tried to start the sync from the beginning creating a new folder but then my coins in the wallet disappeared after i copied it to the %roaming%cloakcoin folder .... **weired**

still cannot get on the correct fork. I have used every combo of addnodes posted, maxconnections=5, I keep getting close but at the last minute it goes from 8900 of 9500 blocks to 8500 of 8900 blocks. and I can never get the last 600 or so blocks because it will say up to daye once it gets the 8900th block

I removed the cloakcoin folder in the AppData/Roaming/ Directory. Of course I made a backup of it before deleting it. Then I started the new cloakcoin-qt and waited for sync. Then I copied my original wallet.dat into this "new" folder.

open the debug console and type repairwallet, your coins should come back if you are using the correct wallet.dat file
