found it it's a multicoin facebook tipping app from whitepuma. We can request nyc be added, but do we have a nyc facebook group for it. Does anyone want to create one? I don't have a facebook myself so I don't have a userbase to promote or create a group for, sorry. I second this question that has been asked,  can any body please give a update on the airdrop that is supposed to me happening,  because I belive that a lot of people are waiting for this news and advent to happen, cause I think that is what will make price of coin go up

I was going to suggest the same thing.

The coin also needs a more engaging website (eventually).  It is getting pretty obvious that every coin is using a similar template.  Image is important in the altcoin industry bc newbies have nothing else to rely on when they first get into speculating, because it takes a long time to understand concepts like hashrates, nodes, and mining difficulty when evaluating the health of a coin.  If people have android apps they can play with, they will play with any and every coin that looks cool.

The NYC technical specs are decent for now.  This coin has a chance but it needs some upgrades.  It would be colossally stupid to let a coin fail when it has a meme this good.

Bittrex is overrated.  They make a business out of shuffiling coins on and off of their exchange.  Every week they toss 5-10 coins off, regardless of the health of their respective networks.  They rake in the fees and then spit out the cheaper coins to bring in new coins that might have higher pricepoints in the future.  I think the people running bittrex have an exceptionally greedy anti-"little guy" mentality, and that usually morphs into revelations of massive fraud down the road.  Dont cry for NYC just bc its not on bittrex.  You might be glad for that someday.

Air Drop has been announced in Press. Nobody on the list has stepped forward to claim yet but The Foundation has 1,000,000 NYC waiting for each of the Top 50 to claim. We don't have a red carpet event planned with Donald Trump and all the Top 50 lined up to accept their NewYorkCoin. Maybe "air drop" was poor marketing considering the Auroracoin calamity. But nevertheless NewYorkCoin is waiting to be claimed by anyone on the list.

If you want to move the price and increase the demand for NewYorkCoin - get New York City business acceptance. The Foundation will achieve this goal by year end (2014). If you want to speed the process, hop on the phone (or a plane) and get businesses in New York City to begin accepting NewYorkCoin for some purchases.
