A dev could take a coin that was not premined and hammer down in the early days of mining with his farm, grab a few million and then flood the market. Maybe it's something to think about, because it can look like a small amount you would send him. But would you send him a big amount and expect your money back? Why would you expect it with a smaller amount then? Good point. Well a micro amount is not a true test and no one would send my ridiculous amount either. It would be great research to see where the line became obfuscated but you would need a large random sample and a whole lot of, in this case, btc to reach any meaningful conclusion. In my case the most that I have trusted is 3.3 BTC paying for a service in advance to an anonymous vendor. I did put a lot of trust into him/her and he/she did not disappoint. In my reality most people I deal with are 100% trustworthy. |

A trusted developer has taken over the lead on this coin so it is not a scam. Coin is back and is strong. The other devs coughed up 10 BTC to make up for the premine dump and turned it over to the community so a new lead could take over. Coin price has rebounded. So how does a person responsibly back up?
Personally all of mine are encrypted then zipped and uploaded to mega. I also keep a copy on two SD cards and one memory stick. All of them are in different locations. I figure that I am safe.

Right way of making money with scamming, one scam wouldn't be enought  I say give this dev a chance and accept what he says at face value. Time will either be his friend or enemy.
