161  Economy / Economics / Re: What will you do in 2030? on: July 14, 2021, 02:38:47 PM
yes I hope so. That's why I save and invest early on.. it's never too late. As long as we are healthy and can still find extra money to invest regularly. And hopefully my choice to invest in bitcoin is not the wrong thing.. So that in the future it will save me and my loved ones from economic downturn. That's why I save a little during the pandemic.
162  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anybody here sell their Gold to buy Bitcoin? on: July 14, 2021, 06:29:44 AM
Hello Gang,
Long time investor/holder of Gold coins, new investor of Bitcoin.
I've been thinking about selling some Gold to buy Bitcoin.
I'm listening to the pros/cons of doing this and Bitcoin seems like the better asset to hold in the long run.

So..
Anyone else here convert their Gold to Bitcoin?
Kinda having a hard time parting ways with my coins.
There's something to be said about touching Gold coins.
They're heavier than you think..
They have a nice ringing tone to them when tapped.
Fun to look at.. older ones have a history to tell.

Maybe I'm alone in this feeling.. 14+ years of collecting coins is hard to let go, but ultimately I got into it to have an insurance in case
of economic collapse and security.. also to make a profit.
Seems like Gold may be taken out by Bitcoin in a few short years.

Thoughts?

not a bad idea you exchange your gold for bitcoin. I think the benefits will be much greater that you will feel. But keep in mind the point you will be profitable if you are good at analyzing bitcoin prices.. But even if you count the length of time you hold gold and if at that time you already held bitcoin.. maybe today you have become a billionaire.. Keep studying with the right people so you won't be influenced by rotten coins.
163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People still don't know about Bitcoin on: July 13, 2021, 02:52:11 PM
There are many people who still don't know about bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies. I don't know about others I am talking about my country and about my society. Whenever I ask from people about or talk about the Bitcoin. They ask what is this?

How much there is who face this problem?
that's right.. there are still many people who don't know about bitcoin. As for sometimes people know only when something viral bitcoin reaches a price of hundreds of millions but even then many people still don't understand. Some people know but their understanding is wrong, they sometimes still compare bitcoin with stocks. And what's worse, people are still asking if bitcoin is halal or haram

165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you pay with Bitcoin whenever you're able to? on: July 03, 2021, 01:05:45 PM
i use bitcoin to make payments and buy online but once a year and usually i use it at the end of the year after i make profit from trading to prove to my family that as long as i invest with bitcoin i can make a profit and show that using bitcoin is very easy for us to make payments anywhere.
166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin security in the long term on: July 03, 2021, 08:06:14 AM
I am a big believer in bitcoin and security because bitcoin runs on a blockchain network which ensures its security. On the other hand, when the supply of bitcoins has been mined, of course this will be the moment that bitcoin users and investors have been waiting for, because we will see an increase in the price of bitcoin that will soar.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this even normal? on: December 15, 2020, 08:34:27 AM
Guys is any of these normal?

1. Admin close down bounty group after bounty ends

2. Admin failed to update spreadsheet and gives stakes to participants and later block access to the spreadsheet

This is what base protocol team did to their promoters, all those that participate in signature campaign aren't rewarded any stakes and they can't even look at spreadsheet, bounty group is closed too so anyone can't complain and yet the team said they will make distribution in the next 42 hours
It should not have happened, the participants have right to know how many results they get, and have right to access the Bounty group to talk about Bounty. If they do as you say, then I think it's not normal, I think it will be a scam project.
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Crypto be more valuable than gold? on: December 15, 2020, 04:28:52 AM
For now crypto can only gaze at gold at crossroads and side by side looks like it still takes a few more years. Perhaps the classic reason for crypto is its fluctuating movements, whereas gold tends to be more stable. So investors definitely choose gold over crypto for the long term.
I think for that reason, Crypto is very suitable for long-term investment, because the Crypto price fluctuates so it can get profit in the future, Gold is suitable for safe Haven investment because the price is stable so that our assets do not fluctuate like Crypto.

170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple the next bitcoin? on: October 31, 2020, 08:42:07 AM
If the price of ripple reaches $ 10, then the total market cap value of the total supply will be $ 1 trillion and I think this is too big because the market cap value of the entire cryptocurrency market is currently $ 390 billion. I think that if the price of ripple returns to $ 1 is good enough for investors because the current trend is not looking good for altcoins
Yeah right, I'm really not sure the XRP price can go up to $10, that's a huge price for Ripple which has a lot of supply. Even though their current development is very good but if a coin which has a lot of supply like XRP it will be very difficult to reach $10. In my opinion, reaching ATH ($3) is logical compared to $10.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Escrowed very important for bounty? on: October 31, 2020, 08:19:10 AM
Of course it is but how many alts projects are willing to use escrow for their bounty? Only very few among the many alts bounties that use escrow in their bounty, most of the alts tokens are not even minted during the bounty campaign so how do you expect them to use escrow, as much as I would have love that it is not going to happen in many alts bounties.
The team did not want to use escrow because they had to pay money to escrow first, indeed using an escrow service can make bounty hunters get their payment, But we can see that it is very rare for bounties use escrow for now. I also hope that project team can use the trusted escrow in this forum for Bounty program.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why DeFi is high risk investment on: October 31, 2020, 04:47:55 AM
To this day I am not interested in investing in the DeFi project, because from the start I saw DeFi has a big risk, it's just that many people do not understand the scheme,
I think ICO or DeFi have the same big risks even though in several different aspects, but somehow it is risky Smiley and as investors it's better to focus on minimizing risk rather than profit, this is an important point.
I have invested several times in defi projects, at first time I made a lot of profit, 100%. But the next time I never got any more profit, because when listing on the Exchange, their coins dumped up to 50-80%. Until now I have given up on investing in the Defi project.  Grin
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC trading pair or USDT trading pair? on: October 31, 2020, 04:40:19 AM
If I personally prefer USDT rather than BTC to be used as a trading pair, because USDT is a stable coin that makes the value of the money I have for trading not reduced (if the price of BTC falls), then the value of capital that I have will remain safe.
The reason because it is stable indeed makes traders prefer use USDT pair than BTC, But I prefer to use BTC pair because I believe the Bitcoin price will increase in the future. BTC pairs have many options on the Exchange so we can trade a lot of coins.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbie thoughts about altcoin investments. on: October 30, 2020, 08:01:38 AM
Many beginners think investment in Altcoin can make profits in a fast time but in fact, it is not easy to need time and patience without it all investments in Altcoin will be in vain because the price of Altcoin is also a long time to wait for Bitcoin to be more stable for Altcoin to rise rapidly.
Usually It is because they see other people who have already got huge returns from Crypto investments, as in the defi project recently which can give you quick profit when their token listed on Exchange. But not all Altcoins can give you profit, choose Altcoins that really have a good team and community.
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust newbies that starts projects? on: October 29, 2020, 10:15:29 AM
I do not believe that novice managers handle projects because most of these beginners tend to be cheating and inexperienced so they spread scam projects there are even good projects but the novice manager does not pay campaign participants
Not necessarily every newbie account that handles a project is really a newbie, sometimes developers don't have this forum account so when they want to start their project, then their account is a newbie rank even though they are experienced people.
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Defi project like game pump and dump on: October 29, 2020, 05:17:49 AM
I agree with you, most defi projects start out fantastically to make a lot of money, but slowly the price is getting wasted. so if you want to keep up with the hype we have to know when to come out and look for a new defi project again to get maximum results.
At this time it is better not to join defi project again because the defi hype is over, If you enter then you will get a loss, personally I joined several defi projects and I lost a lot of my money. They only want to get investors' money in the presale period, after listing on the market, their token price is dumped. This is what currently happening in defi project.
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Was 2017 the "Golden Year of Crypto"? on: October 29, 2020, 04:59:53 AM
The most memorable year for crypto and it's community was 2017, BTC gave 100s of investors a chance to become millionaires.

The Massive price pump was the best of all time in crypto history and even now many of them are desperately waiting for the same day, some descent price is expected even this year unfortunately the price is going up and down, let's wait and see for a while.

But I think it's not the golden year of Crypto world, I am sure the golden time will come in the years to come. We only look at what we have lived, yes 2017 is best compared to other years, but we don't know what will happen in the future, I believe the world of Crypto is still very profitable in the future.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: I feel sorry for the EMIREX bounty hunters $20 for 9 months of waiting on: October 21, 2020, 10:13:24 AM
I wasn't surprise with this news Its a regular occurrence here, this is how bounty hunters are messed-up, imagine waiting for so long and at the end nothing to show for all the effort and time used in promoting the token, I was once participated in a bounty campaign that took almost two years before the token was listed in an exchange, the price was nothing to write home its was very disappointing, while some people will have the gut to blame this dump in the price on bounty hunters.
Yes right, I have also experienced like you, after a long wait but they don't pay and their token also not listed on Exchange, that’s worse than this Emirex Bounty participant. Now we have to be really careful if we want to join the Bounty, it's better to only join Bounty handled by a trusted manager.
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: End of Defi hype! Time to invest in real business with real products? on: October 21, 2020, 09:48:43 AM
still not, because defi has always existed, even though the hype is said to be over but good defi projects will continue with their development and products.
i don't support any project but it's a fact that every good defi project will stick around.
I see the DeFi project at this time only as a Pump and Dump event, if their token price drops when listing Then the project will be said a failed project, many investors will be disappointed and leave the project. Vice versa, if when listing their coin price is Pump, it will be said a good and successful project.
180  Other / Archival / Re: DeFi hyip is over? on: October 21, 2020, 09:22:27 AM
Defi some coins will just become worthless in coming months and may be handful may still exist, but its value would fallen a lot from its high. Now not sure if it can anytime in future cross its ATH price or no. So I am avoiding tis for now and once it has fallen drastically and reach its bottom then can think about its future and may considering buying it.
That's right, I see a lot of Defi coins dropping up to 50% when they were first released on Exchange, so that it makes investors who buy during Pre-Sale lose a lot of their assets. I also invested in the DeFi project and it was a huge loss too. So I think Defi HYIP is over.
