Can someone estimate my account, not that I am going to sell it, but just to know.
Signed message available Smiley

If you're saying the signed message is available then I'd say you are looking to sell it.

if I send someone money with my address in the notes box on the transaction, and they have a screenshot of their wallet sending me the money - there is next to no chance I am winning that dispute and my account gets flagged.

You'd be surprised. PayPal is VERY, VERY, VERY anti-bitcoin and any trade with bitcoin can be charged back.

If anyone wants, I can send them the code and they can confirm that it is used, just PM me.

Used by you, probably. Roll Eyes

I believe it is vircurex that will allow you to change paypal to bitcoin, although fees are a little high.

I forgot about that option. I'm not sure if Vircurex allows PP -> Bitcoin transfers (never heard of them) but Virwox does. Like he said, fees are high.

I'm not out to scam anyone.. so, just trying to build trust.  Do you have a better suggestion as in purchase something with said Bitcoin and pay with PayPal, etc.. ?

Ow. Big no-no.

Rule of thumb, only do trades you really need to get done. I think too many of people here focus on trust. Just be on the forum and contribute and do trades here and there (only when you need).

Why do you even want "trust"?

Well, I don't necessarily "need" trust, I just though perhaps it would make future PayPal transactions easier.  But as I've not been around in the Bitcoin community in a long time I see a lot has changed.

So "need" and "want" is very different in this case.  I have $100 on PayPal, that I would like to move into Bitcoin without the other party having to worry about a charge back.  I'm very open to suggestions, I was unaware that PayPal and BTC transactions are a big no-no these days; though, I can see why.  Red flags I'm sure are popping up!

So like I said, very open to suggestions.  I'd just like to get some Bitcoin again as I have none.. with a relatively low risk of investment.

In the future, don't use PayPal and you won't have the difficulties of moving it to bitcoin. I'll tell you what you should do; withdraw it from your bank and then wire it to another person. AFAIK, wiring funds is nonreversible.

Have 20$ Paypal and need BTC. Anyone able to do this drop me a message!

Do not accept PayPal from this member as he's using hacked accounts and there will be chargebacks.

You'd have better luck selling with a fresh newbie account than the current one.

We offer you the bitcoin double function, without pyramid scheme or scam methods. We offer you 7,89% of the amount that you want to double, daily. After these statistics,  you will get 200% of the invested amount, in 26 working days, or you can stop anytime and get the amount back, with a 20% fee. The method of bitcoin double consist in buying of some shares, so it is a possibility of 4,27% that you can lose the invested amount.

Ponzi confirmed.

172  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Trying to trick a signature campaign on: November 19, 2015, 11:22:52 PM
He might have done it by mistake.

Kind of hard to do an application post, press enter for a couple of lines, and then copy and paste the signature code in by mistake. Twice.

Maybe he was not sure how to set a signature the right way?

If he really is the original owner of his account, it means he was here for a minimum of 18 weeks; plenty to learn how to set signatures. The only exception is if he bought the account, in which he still deserves a neutral.

Like subSTRATA said, this has already been pointed out and plenty of sections are filled with this kind of bs. There's nothing we can really do expect deal with it, since that kind of posting has becoming "normal quality" posts nowadays. You can see that those posters who have the majority of their posts like that have no trouble whatsoever joining in campaigns (except for those run by very strict managers, like Carra23).

Looks like he put his signature after being pointed out. I'm not too sure what to make of this, but I still consider him to be untrustworthy.

Ask around in the loan threads.
176  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB want buy bitcoins for 250 USD paypal on: November 19, 2015, 12:44:13 AM
I can't follow what you mean when you say you'll open a dispute after the trade then close it again.?

I'm not too familiar with how PayPal works but it might be that you can't open a dispute after you close it... but he could just open the dispute and not close it.

Because they aren't on DefaultTrust depth 1 or 2.

178  Economy / Lending / Re: Rep Loan #1 on: November 19, 2015, 12:13:46 AM
Thank you for the feedback everybody else I will not ask for another rep loan. But I'm wondering what is a good way to build trust?

You don't build trust, trust is a biproduct that comes with you just being on the forums. Reputable members didn't have the goal of becoming reputable, they just simply had trades on the forum and did things out of their way that other people figured was trustworthy.
179  Economy / Lending / Re: Rep Loan #1 on: November 19, 2015, 12:00:16 AM
I read the stickies and they don't explicitly say you can't take out rep loans, however they discourage it because of many people continually taking out bigger rep loans and then running away with the money.

That might be one reason, but the other is because you're trying to gain reputation and that's discouraged. The main people who try to gain reputation are scammers who try and get a good rep before the scam.
That is true and I understand your concern, it certainly looks suspicious when someone who is new tries to build rep. I'm not trying to build rep to scam, I'm only building it so I can be trusted as I may start a service that requires me to be trusted(like an escrow service).

Even more of a discouragement from the community if you're trying to start services like escrowing from this.

Also; would a scammer building rep say that he was building rep to scam? No. He would phrase it similarly to you. Not saying you're a scammer.
