Any reason why my app is continuously showing a (1), as a push-message is waiting... Opened, read it (one miner trending down), reset miner (hashing ok now), even uninstalled ad reinstalled the app. Still showing (1)... Ran a report for the 4/1 to 4/20 to see how the pool is doing and notices each day is getting a zero at the top, then showing the rest of the days blocks. I think this happen once before when I ran reports and you had fixed something. Maybe a API error in pulling in diff, but in my rewards page, block 407917 is showing a Zero diff, thus skewing the reward vs. PPS numbers. Just wanted to point that out.

I do like the rule having to mine the whole round. Any amount of hash but entire round with shares submitted 20 of 24 hours each day. Keeps the people from just playing without contributing and also fake accounts from being used. You want to play but don't have HW? Rent 5th for a week, there are ways. I also like Phils pointers since he's done this before. All good points. I mine here all the time with different hash rates as most other playing so that's a good way to keep it going with honest people.

My new guess is 89% - 89.99%
Please change my guess to 93.0-93.99.
Maybe even a 5% window would be good for future guess games, that way you could have some time to let a decent rental run during your period. Even my little 100TH for a couple hours moved the pool % noticeably.

i like the new rules, I have done rentals 3 times now. 5-7PH last night but for only 30min or so since the zone was so small. I don't mind doing unlimited HN rentals but needs at least a 1% zone, 2 would be better since that much hash will fly through 1-2 percent.
Anyway, thanks for the updates and expect another unlimited rental when my zone comes up.

Anyone notice block 408,154, the pool that got that (crappy pool) was at a 1.63T shares, I think that over 900% diff. I don't think I've seen one that high, I know it happens but wow. over 13 days at just under 7PH.
When they say luck, they are not kidding.....

Looks like there have been at least 3 instances today where pool has gone down. My rentals error and fail to connect and my A6 hardware fails over to Kano.
I'm sure Jonny will address once he's done with client meetings.

Does it seem like the time between blocks is getting longer? On the network in general?
I know look at the average. I am more curious about a shorter term look. 21 days maybe?
according to the stats on the header of kano.is it shows 23 min between blocks Not really, quite the opposite hence why the projected diff is going up. If the block generation times were slow then it would be over 10m and trending toward a negative diff, but we are still projected at over 5% increase. I have a dead pick of 37.37 I have to pick at least 47.37 abmonstein = 47.00% dsppage = 49.00% eghigo = 50.25% ---------- not yet included by jonny dennishh = 53.82% controlhosting = 55.00% 57.57% = philipma1957 so this is not cutthroat leaves a 2% or so gap and creates a zone to hash big in. carlsberg112 = 63.45% Yea, a 2% buffer would be nice. I was going to place a large hash rental but with others being so close to my number I am waiting for a bigger gap. but now I only have 2% on the low and 1.25 on the high. As a result, I think I'm going to rent at 48.25% till 49.50% to be on the safe side. That would really suck to spend a bunch on a rental, hit a block but not be within your range....... |
