161  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: August 26, 2019, 12:27:13 PM
Recently (well not so recent, but this year lang), I was notified by coins.ph din about verification via email. Level 3 verified din ako and last year nakapag fill out na ako ng same form at nakapagpasa ng ID at Video, noong time na nag require sila ng KYC (Enhanced Verification).

162  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: July 15, 2019, 03:33:00 AM
Lately, puro problema ang napag uusapan dito sa thread. Last July 12th, I received an email from coins.ph at sa part ko isa itong magandang balita. Share ko dito, just in case merong hindi nakareceive o hindi pa nakakabasa.

So from 10 AM, na adjust na yung time para ma-receive pa din ang cash out on the same day through BPI or Security bank. Cheesy Good news, dati kasi medyo hassle kapag kailangan na ngayong araw tapos 10 AM ang cut off (kahit andyan si GCASH, imo mas okay pa din through bank).

Hey, can someone please provide the link to the WAVE's AMA session where I can see all the questions that had been posted by the community members?

Thanks
The one that will be held on Jul 17th, right?
Here's the link: https://app.sli.do/event/t8koizpq/live/questions

164  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading full time on: July 14, 2019, 12:39:32 AM
Trading strategy that works? Personally tbh, I doubt that there's a strategy that ALWAYS work. I do trade and I have a strategy, but there's a timing for it to work and it depends on the situation.

Full time job - stable, secure, and steady paycheck ---- Yes
Trading - it's not always a win win situation

So for me I'd rather do both, full time job and part time trading. Good luck to you anyway Smiley
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Warning! Error encountered during contract execution [Reverted] on: July 02, 2019, 08:45:01 AM
I found out that the team locked the tokens for 6 months in Forkdelta because of the bounty hunters who dumped their holdings. Most likely it's for all, no exceptions. However, if you're in doubt, you can ask the team directly to confirm.

What's certain is that, if the token is locked, you won't be able to send it.

166  Other / Meta / Re: Unable to login through Microsoft Edge Browser on: July 02, 2019, 07:19:11 AM
Maybe some volunteer can help check out through Microsoft edge and see if the logging in is successful, it could be  a problem that has not been noticed yet  Wink
I tried it on my Microsoft Edge and it worked smoothly. Have you tried clearing your browser data (esp. cookies & cached)? Maybe that would help.

Just saw o_e_l_e_o's post,  I want to share that mine was also set to "Don't block cookies" and in my Microsoft Edge version it can be seen under Privacy & security instead of Advanced.

What I noticed was my account got logged out on all devices after logging out on Microsoft edge, could anyone confirm as well if that's really how it is?
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to recover coins sent to BNB Testnet on: July 01, 2019, 11:24:19 PM
Thank you for your replies. What is the next course of action you would take in the event Binance were unable to recover the coins?
If I were in the situation, most likely I will just accept the fact that I lost my coins/tokens and move on. They remind the users to not send mainnet tokens, they did their part and clearly I was at fault.

If you are not satisfied with what I shared above (I hope you visited the link and read the whole content), then you should contact the support and confirm it.
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to recover coins sent to BNB Testnet on: July 01, 2019, 02:08:41 PM
I hope the amount you sent wasn't that huge because unfortunately, you can't get back your coins. It was clearly stated on "Binance Chain: Things To Avoid" ↓↓↓
Quote
Please do not send any real mainnet tokens (BTC, ETH, BNB etc.) to Binance testnet. Your tokens will be lost and will be unrecoverable.
169  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: July 01, 2019, 06:36:20 AM
May nabasa ako sa facebook nabili na daw ang coins.ph ? Totoo ba ?

I'll consider this a joke, unless you put a source of this information, why on earth the owner would sell a very profitable business?
Hindi ko sure pero malaki ang chance na ito ang tinutukoy niya: Go-Jek buys fintech startup Coins.ph for $72M ahead of Philippines expansion
170  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Sent money to old deposit address - Cryptopia refuses to deposit it on: May 10, 2019, 11:02:56 PM
Unfortunately, they made it clear that if you deposit in your old address, it will not be recovered (quoted above, but here's the direct link of post). They have included same info in the email update that was sent to users and I'm pretty sure that there is a note in the deposit page too about it.

Accept it if you can't get your LTC back since it's your mistake.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Erc 223, 721 support in Ethereum Wallets on: May 08, 2019, 11:08:13 PM
I am not familiar with the first wallet, do you mind sharing a link to its website? (just curious)

The second one, Eth wallet by Freewallet, does NOT support other tokens (ERC-223, ERC-721, ERC-777), only ERC20 tokens that are listed here:Supported ERC20 Tokens. It was confirmed by their support agent too
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Price Of Qtum will likely to increase? on: May 03, 2019, 12:14:19 AM
No one knows. I mean we always expect a price pump whenever there is a positive news, but it's not always happening. It depends on how the supporters will react imo.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES - Complete Blockchain ecosystem for a token economy on: May 02, 2019, 11:33:27 PM
Is there any way i can recover my wallet, whose seeds and password i have lost?
There's no way to recover it without the seed. That's why they have a note when you create a new wallet that you should save your seed in a safe place because it's the only way to recover.
174  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Highcoin.net is a scam? on: May 02, 2019, 11:03:04 PM
No, a friend (online) told me about this, he then gave me this 1k usd that im stuck with there...
I guess he is not really your friend, but just a random guy online. (correct me if I'm wrong) Trust me, this is a scam tactic.

1. Why would a random guy give you money?
2. Why would he ask you to withdraw that amount while he can deposit himself and withdraw it
2. Why do you need to deposit to be able to withdraw? Why not KYC?

Isn't this too obvious? I recently saw the same stories posted here. Like this one: BEWARE!!! charmcrypt.com
175  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Beware when trading @ Kryptono - Stealing your identity? on: May 02, 2019, 10:33:35 PM
KYC is a common requirement when the account got locked due to failed log in attempts. This is the Exchanges' way of proving that the real owner is the one who trying to access the account. This is part of their security precaution.

Think of it, if it's not you who tried to log in and failed many times using your account, and the exchange gave access without asking KYC. What do you think will happen? Most likely, your account will be hacked, funds will be lost, and you'll blame the exchange for not doing anything.

I'm not defending the exchange, but understanding the situation. This might happen in any platform, not only into this one that's why we need to be careful.
176  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Unable to withdraw balance from picostocks.com on: May 02, 2019, 10:03:17 PM
Another unfamiliar exchange. Found an ANN thread, but it's inactive and so as the Main poster tytus

On a tweet, this is their contact email that I saw : contact@picostocks.com
Give the complete info about your issue and wait if they will respond. However if they won't, then we can't do anything about it.
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shift Wallet? on: May 02, 2019, 09:33:19 PM
shift-nano-win-1.1.0.exe correct?
Yes it is, that's the latest as far as I can see. It's been a while and I thought that you already downloaded the wallet. Letting you know beforehand that I will not be able to help you if you will be needing more assistannce after installing the wallet, so you better asked in their ANN thread (if ever).
178  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Make Sure You have 2FA enabled on your exchange accounts on: May 02, 2019, 07:29:34 PM
Because some people is not aware of 2FA or just don't enable despite of knowing it for whatever reason, I appreciate the exchanges that make it a requirement before using the service. It's an advantage for both the exchange and it's users.

Aside from enabling 2FA, don't forget to change passwords too. It's recommended especially when something like this (hack) happened.
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: blocked because of multiple accounts on: May 02, 2019, 01:23:29 PM
You will earn from this site when someone clicks on your shortlink and through referral. Are you sure that you didn't try to cheat the system? Let's say you don't have multiple accounts, are you not clicking your own shortlinks too? Because it's a possible reason as well (regardless if you use vpn or not).

I have not seen any thread about it here before. Just contact their support
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB Swap on: May 02, 2019, 08:15:09 AM
My question is what is the deadline to swap all BNB that I am holding or is it ok to hold the old BNB without swapping?
Afaik, there's no deadline given yet. Binance said that you can still hold your ERC20 based BNB, but the use of it would be for a limited time only. I highly suggest to those who holds BNB ERC20 token to swap their coins to BNB mainnet so that there won't be any problem in the future (like miss the swap).

And I thought that holding BNB tokens on Binance means automatical swap.
Yes it is. If you hold your ERC20 BNB tokens on Binance.com, you don't need to worry about it.

Accurate info about the swap can be found here: Binance Chain Mainnet Swap 关于币安链(Binance Chain)主网切换的说明 바이낸스 커뮤니티 분들께
