I remember on coinmarketcap Iconomi had a max/total supply info displaying. Now i can't see it. Why is that? Iconomi turned inflationary now?
I think it is Circulating Supply 99,900,350 ICN. I sure hope that is also the total supply. Any news on Iconomi guys? Does anyone have it, what are your speculations? I think it will recover, because Iconomi will burn ICN tokens, based on profits made with BLX on their platfor. What do you think? Is it going up?
With token burning it's likely that it'll recover. But anyways, even though I hold some Iconomi, I don't really believe in it. I'm still in the green with them, but there are vastly superior options and the fee scheme Iconomi uses isn't exactly generous either. If you're not already holding, find something else in my opinion. Agreed. What options (that offer the same thing) do you think are better? I was really hoping it would climb back up to $5, but i am starting to lose hope, because there are no upocoming news for Iconomi, only for the BLX. Only reason the price could rise is because of burning, but even then, what is the use of the token? |

The 1st September showed how vulnerable Chinese crypto projects are. What would happen if the Chinese government would extend the ban and start banning particular coins?
Crypto currencies in common are an unpredictable investment. But Chinese coins have a lot bigger risk in my opinion. Of course the chance of profits is bigger, when the government stop to ban more crypto assets. But the more successful crypto currencies will be the more bans will China inflict.
I fully agree with this. It is very risky to invest in China crypto projects, because the entire state is unreliable. Of course, now it is rebounding based on the news of the ban not being permanent. But i really hope that with more success with cryptos, china will allow/go with it. |

Seems like an interesting project. I found out about it, because i received 347 CDT in my Etherium wallet. Was there an airdrop? Maybe i did some participation in bounties...
Speculation wise, you can see that the trend is downwards, almost since the beginning (first a spike, then a downfall for almost a month now). If you draw a line from the spike, you can see that it has been broken right about now, so i think we should see a rising trend right now.

NEO is potentially good for a short term investments, because there is some hype regarding the Chinese ban on ICOs being only temporary. But it might be merely speculation...regardless, it will probably drive the price up for a short term.

Seems like everything good is coming from BLX, and ICN became obsolete? I am not sure, but that is what it looks to me right now. I really hope something happens to it though, hopefully the burning of ICN with profits will drive the price up.

Similar to Etherium and Neo (and maybe Stratis) in terms of usage. Has some benefits such as integrated Waves exchange. There are some tokens already on the platform. So i would say the hype is much like hype for Etherium and Neo.

It all depends on where you live. In some countries you might have to, in others you don't. Some countries have different laws regarding cryptocurrencies, e.g. mining them, requires you to pay tax whereas trading them and making profit, doesn't require you to pay any.

Regarding your investment question, i would say go like this. Split investment 70/30 into "known" coins and potential known coins. Like 70% of your investment into the ones you think are here to stay (Bitcoin, Etherium, Litecoin,...) and the 30% would go to other great coins like NEO, Stratis, Lisk, Waves, Monero,... You could split your investment even more (50%, 30%, 20%), and invest in even lower ranked coins (that could yield higher profits). I recommend checking on https://coinmarketcap.com . So you can invest some % in coins with market cap < 5, some % in coins with market cap < 20 and some lottery coins with market cap up to 100 if you wish. thank you!! that's kind of what I was looking for. I've had no issues so far with any of the btc exchanges I've been on Yes, i have also seen the post predicting Syscoin (the guy has some spot on predictions as you said). I have also invested some in Syscoin. Regarding converting, large amounts will most likely make some price rise/drop when you buy/sell them. It is easy to convert (just one exchange), but if you suddenly sell $10 000 worth of Waves, the price might drop a little bit. But it all depends on that current market. Converting is easy, only issue are the little price differences that might occur. For example if you want to sell 500 waves for 5$ each. There might be a buyer buying 20 waves for 5$ each, then a buyer with an order of 130 waves for 4.98$ each and so on. So you will not be able to sell them all for 5$ (that is if you want to sell them at once, fast). |

Can anyone help me here? I got rejected (suspicious activity), posted on the forums and received an explanation. 0.008 was withdrawn. But i didn't withdraw it, the thing is, i used wallet from an exchange (due to some problems with ubuntu wallet) so i guess it works different over there, and they spend your funds? Is there a way of just changing my wallet address? thanks |
