Well all I know is I doubt that bitcoins can end world poverty, because there are countries only absorving the system of bitcoins and majority countries are not aware of it. and majority of the individuals are lack of knowledge on web or online income. Yes I lost some coins in sports betting but really a less amount because I do it for fun.I also won some times in that.I invested some in mining sites and lost some but before that I got back my roi and now I don’t trust any ponzi sites.
If we see in precise then you haven't made any loss with bitcoins because see sport betting is like watching movies, do you call wasting money when you pay for a movie ticket ? then how is gambling a loss. Gambling is not a way of entertainment as the movies are. It's an investment for many gamblers. A loss on investment is considered a lost, which is sad but likely to happen if you make poor decision on your investment. Or you can call it learning money. For me however it's like donating it to the casino owners. I also have lost Bitcoin with gambling and I still regret that I spend to much Bitcoin in the past and that is why I do not gamble with Bitcoin anymore. And if gambling is illegal in your country then you will be sooner arrested by your government, as with your credit card they will know that you are using it for gambling online. I will sell my coins only when I see the price of $1k or above, till then I have patience to hold my coins tightly as selling at this stage will not be too profitable.

I do not think that at the moment it is the best idea to be spending your Bitcoin at the moment because the halving is coming soon.
It will be better for you if you try and wait for after the halving then you can sell.

At least not regarding the block halving that has taken place. Every bit of market action that we will see will not be related to the block halving. since the halfing hasnt really had any effect on the bitcoin price. i feel like its going to be stable for a while now. maybe we will see a gradual increase in the far future.

yeah maybe I will retire early and enjoy the fruits of my wealth. 500 btc is equivalent to $300,000 that is a very big money even during my lifetime probably cost under $ 300k. but I will not do it. it is futile if I have 500 BTC certainly I would add my wealth again  Yeah everyone will prefer to retire early and have fun in life as 500 btc is too huge amount to hold which can give us best luxury life which we have ever dreamed off. to be honest that would be great, i think retiring and living entirely out of the bitcoins i have would be a dream come true for me, i think one day it will be possible Nothing is impossible even if you don't get it for free then you can always make an effort to earn it and to reach near to a descent amount that can give you best life in future. |

There's no guarantee about the price of Bitcoin on that day you expected but for me Bitcoin has the potential to increase as you see on the market how this coin rises it's value every year passes.
But it is not enough if you are going to buy more bitcoins for a long term investment. Because if you are going to depend on that amount. That is really not enough for the effort you are going to wait. So as much as possible you are going to add some capital on it so that when its harvesting time you are going to wait. 1 btc will not give you best profits that you are looking for, as 1 btc is too small amount to hold, you can expect good profits from 1 btc if price goes into millions, which is unlikely to happen. the problem is the price of bitcoin. 1 BTC is too small. maybe if the price of bitcoin $1m, 1 bitcoin is very feasible for long term investment. for now if you want long term investments, at least should have about 50-100 bitcoin. so you will not be futile to wait a long time. Yeah having 50 to 100 btc for future is a good amount to hold, so even if price doesn't reaches to the moon in future, you still have an opportunity to earn good profits. it is right, most people think that in the future the price will rise very high. so they do not hold bitcoin by a huge amount. whereas future is uncertain, so does the price. so it is better if you think of bitcoin prices low in the future, so you will collect more bitcoin for the future.
