161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System on: July 03, 2017, 11:47:59 AM
Hi mate, I finally paid for your services, thanks again!
How's progress on the grouping functionality? Would be nice if I didnt have to have multiple accounts to manage both R and RX series cards! Smiley
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Any info about new BAIKAL products Or stock? on: May 29, 2017, 11:48:47 AM
Yes I noticed that too. They weren't responding to e-mails anyway, But at least I could try.
Still hope they were announcing a new giant because the quad Cube released quickly after the normal Cube.

Hope there is is good news soon!

The quad was just 4 stacked normal cubes.

Can you guys explain why my ETH hashrate is 30-50 mh/s lower than it should be? And why is it fluctuating like crazy?
I'm getting 570-590 mh/s average, it should be around 640-660.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: First rig | Sapphire RX580 Nitro+ Limited Edition Benchmarks and results on: May 11, 2017, 06:41:42 PM
I'm running these cards at 1250/2200 with bios mod.
Getting around 30.5 mh/s ETH and 900mh/s DCR.

Haven't played around with clocks too much tho, I just overclocked the memory to 2200 out of the box and went on vacation for a week. They are still going strong!

It blows my mind how quiet these cards are Cheesy

Will be follwing ur lead on this, I should probably lower power consumption a bit!
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer L3 - 250mh - 400watt Scrypt miner coming soon on: May 10, 2017, 12:25:28 PM
Again, not buying until I can get delivery in just a few days.
So, will have to wait it out until they catch up and start taking orders and delivery at the same time.
I think it's crazy in this market to buy something and have to wait for delivery more than a week or two.
Once they catch-up with the back orders and are carrying stock, then people should not throw money at any vendor on the hopes that they will produce and deliver goods in months...
Only buy from "stock", not from pre-orders...

I'm happy that I ordered may 5 batch L3+, ROI time looks good at the moment..

Any idea why my Daggerhashimoto hashrate seems to be on the low side when mining on nicehash?
Using smOS with RX 580 GPU's

Avg. speed is around 570MH/s, but it should be around 620.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Baikal Quad Cube Review on: May 08, 2017, 02:56:35 PM
I just got my quad up and running as well, plug and play! Cheesy
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Baikal Quad Cube Review on: May 08, 2017, 11:41:50 AM
Is it possible to auto-switch algo when mining at nicehash?
Or do you need to manually change to the most profitable algo?
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / XFX 1250W - Paper clip trick? on: May 08, 2017, 10:25:51 AM
Hi,

I'm having problems with a XFX 1250W PSU.
I can't get it to power on with the  "paper clip trick" when I only draw power on the 12v PCIe connectors.

I remember reading about that some PSUs need to draw power on the 5v rails to actually deliver power?
It works fine if I use a add2psu adapter.
I want to use it to power my baikal miners! Smiley

Tips?
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System on: May 07, 2017, 02:18:03 PM
Hi again mate!

I'm having some issues with a rig with r9 390 cards! Before I went on vacation the rig was mining with 5 cards, but it seems like the OS has been updated since i left, and now I cant get it to run with 5 cards anymore, only 4!

Which GPU that will not work is random everytime i restart it. (So its not the GPU or risers)
Im using a z170 chipset on this rig.

The rigs with rx 580 cards is running solid tho Cheesy

Any tips?

To the guys pretending to be in the crypto-game, but are still sending money in fiat, and complaining about how much time it takes:

Shame on you!
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: BAIKAL - 5 STAR PRODUCT 1 STAR SERVICE - BAD BUSINESS PRACTISE on: April 29, 2017, 09:40:57 AM
Guys you should be AWARE:

After weeks of trying I got a reply from baikal about a Quad.
They asked me the details about my order.I gave them all the details and they sent me the amount to pay.
Shipping+Quad 3343 USD.Since I wanted to pay in BTC they sent me that amount also: 2.906 BTC.

Now I know very well that there are differences between the exchanges but almost 600$ difference.........something is very fishy.
I sent them a reply stating this issue and what do you think? Of course no more reply.

BE AWARE!!!!!!

I'm aware! Paid 3700 USD for 1 quad.. Will probably never ROI, but hopefully I will have another toy sometime in May..

174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: BAIKAL - 5 STAR PRODUCT 1 STAR SERVICE - BAD BUSINESS PRACTISE on: April 27, 2017, 08:32:52 PM
My experience:

19.04: First time I sent Baikal an e-mail. My account hadn't been activated, so I asked him on e-mail to order a Cube miner.
20.04: He told me I could order 1 Cube. I bought one.
21.04: It was shipped.
24.04: It was at my doorstep, have been mining ever since.

25.04: I saw the ad for Quad Cube on Baikal Lee facebook page. 22 min after the ad had been posted, I contacted him again and ordered 1 Quad Cube. I bought one.
xx.05: To be continued..  Tongue
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Best GPU's For Mining? on: April 27, 2017, 08:15:09 PM
These are the cards Ive mined with:
GA7950
GA 7970
Sapphire 280x
Sapphire 390
MSI 580 Gaming X 8GB
Sapphire 580 Limited 8GB

My favorite card is the Sapphire 580, based on:
-Huge heatsink, they are very quiet
-Seems to be very stable
-Dual bios
-Comes with 2 sets with fans
-Kinda sexy

They just answered ny email again and confirmed that my order is ok.

177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: BAIKAL - WHAT IS GOING ON? on: April 25, 2017, 05:42:22 PM
Am I reading you all correctly and Baikalminer is fucking everyone out of an extra $400 for an $799 miner?  WTF?  They need to go put real USD prices on site than and not lie about it.

3700$ for an 3300$ miner :p

actually price shows $3196 miner.  So they are really cheating. There site shows USD not China prices.
That was with shipping tho!

I got my cube a few days ago. Baikal's website was a nightmare to order from but they came through for me twice now.

I have a mini and a cube both hashing on a Singapore node of the Dash P2pool and I'm getting regular payment to my wallet.

I'm sorry for all the people who have had problems but for me it was all OK. I had very little confidence after my experience of ordering the cube but I have to say: you can trust Baikal if you are patient with them and use their email as much as you can when ordering.

I think the concern right now is that they are behaving out of the norm.

Ordering through email or skype not the website.  Also, I got an email saying order through skype and others who skype getting a message saying order through email.

The reason they want to talk on skype is because they don't want a long dialog back and forth on email.

My first cube order was done all on email, because my account never got verified on their website. It all worked out.
This time (30min after FB ad/release) I contacted them on the same email regarding the quad cube. They told me to talk to them on skype (to avoid dialog via email).
I then told them what I wanted on skype, and they gave me a "template" (quantity, payment method, address and phone#) they wanted me to "fill in" and send them on email to get an exact quote.
They then gave me a price based on the chinese btc price. 1 BTC = 7300 CNY = 1060USD/BTC.
I paid, and they told me they will send my unit during the second week of May.

Is it really that fishy? Am I being naive? xD

Edit: I got fucked, didn't I?

And now mail server failed to receive email?

On 1st April 2017 the MX record for baikalminer.com is mxn.mxhichina.com but now the MX record changed to wmx.ecounterp.com ?

http://research.dnstrails.com/tools/lookup.htm?domain=baikalminer.com

Something not wright

This could be a good thing tho. ERP = Entreprise Resource Planning. Maybe they are upgrading their sales/support systems?

It would make sense if they are migrating their email system as well. It could take hours to update all the END servers!

Or maybe I'm in denial! xD
