Lol last night the funniest glitch happened while ordering. Upon adding 10 s9s to my cart, when I clicked checkout, magically 5 batch 5 s5s were added as well for $400. Yes you read that correct. Talk about going back in time haha.

Halong accepts wire transfer as well, through a particular distributor.

@offordscott As mentioned via email several times, why are you unwilling to provide a protected means to provide such an investment? Most startups would be ecstatic to be getting investments from people, not requiring bitcoin only.

Wire transfer isn’t protected either...PayPal, third party escrow through legendary members of bitcointalk, etc are all protected methods in which we can send you money for these miners and it would make your company look good in the bitcointalk community as well. Not trying to be an ass, trying to establish legitimacy before making a purchase. I purchased 25 machines already in the past month from hotmine and bitmain. Looking to get 25 more...instead of working with prospective buyers it appears you are working against them...not a good look.

From someone who has owned miners from Cointerra, Spondoolies, Bitmain, and Hotmine, I am more than willing to give a new company a shot, on my own terms....

Anyone in the US mining here that knows of a place where I can host 25 machines? I am running out of room at my facility and want to avoid the cost of having an additional transformer run out to my property. Any help would be appreciated.
169  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Looking for currently avaialable hosting for S9s on: January 11, 2018, 10:20:15 PM
Good luck. I can’t even find anyone with space for my 25 machines. The only available space I know of is in Canada and they will take 100 machine minimum from new clients. I am going to have to rent commercial space to accommodate for my growth, since my electric provider can’t provide the power I need without paying for the installation of a new transformer.

Here’s a quick way to end this back and forth between the shills and us skeptics. If any of you in this thread have 100% certainty that Dragonmint will deliver. Feel free to donate the btc to me. I will place the order. If they deliver I will pay you back your btc dollar for dollar.
171  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: DragonMint 16TH/S halongmining.com on: January 10, 2018, 06:14:10 PM
By sending these companies money in an unsecure method, It is now officially theirs and they are not obligated to send you a refund of any amount. This is so they don't have to deal with the headaches of people filing chargebacks on their credit cards, or filing claims with paypal if they never deliver, the machines under perform, miss delivery targets, or fail completely. This is not the ethical way to conduct business in America, nor in any first world nation. However, the cryptocurrency world is still a world that lacks customer relations to a first world standard, so this is sadly the norm. If I was producing a product I had 100% faith in, I would be glad to provide whatever means necessary to have my clients send me their money. (And if there were fees associated with said protected methods, I would tack that on top of the sale price). When you are unwilling to provide any sort of protected means for a client to invest in your products, you show them that you lack the confidence to provide the service or good that you are charging them for.
172  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: DragonMint 16TH/S halongmining.com on: January 10, 2018, 05:32:43 PM
In 2018 there are way too many avenues in which a company can reveal products to prospective clients without worrying about competition stealing proprietary information. With various apps such as Skype, WhatsApp, Snapchat, telegram etc. This company can easily have a marketing team to show the operational gear on their terms that they are comfortable with. Questionquest, don’t bother replying I have you on ignore because you don’t respond rationally to us skeptics. You just respond with quotes and cliche sayings avoiding the overall meat of our gripes. Sounding like a typical corporate shill. Master of deflection. A picture of two pc’s isn’t going to pry $10,000usd from any intelligent responsible persons hands. If you want to provide real proof, (video, live video conference, live video chat) by all means step up to the plate and make me look silly. But I will reiterate the fact that I am going on 72 hours now without a response from halongmining. This is from when I asked them about protected methods (PayPal etc) in which I could send them my money. The lack of response should speak volumes.

Warning* ITT: HalongMining Blowhards, no need to look here for information any longer until people actually get these in their hands.

Questionquest is a clear shill...why you guys are biting to his replies I have no idea. For me personally I have purchased hotmine U6 kits and antminer s9s until something better hash per$/ per kw comes along.
175  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: DragonMint 16TH/S halongmining.com on: January 09, 2018, 09:55:07 PM
It’s not common. Usually only proven manufacturers switch to wire transfer/bitcoin after some time to avoid the fees associated with going through a credit card/debit card/PayPal type payment processing procedure. If they do only accept wire transactions, they usually are more than happy to show their facility in person and schedule face to face meetings with prospective clients. This wreaks of scam to me and the newb shill boys in this thread with their broken English don’t make it any better. The only thing that shocked me was to see Hotmine.io bite and buy some units themselves.
176  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: DragonMint 16TH/S halongmining.com on: January 09, 2018, 09:45:33 PM
I sent them a message 24 hours ago after placing an order (but not sending any btc) asking them if they were willing to accept a protected way to send them money (eg Paypal) via invoice. I told them because I have been mining since 2015 and have not seen nor met one person with one of these devices (even as a test unit). I informed them I would be more than glad to make the payment for ten units in a secure manner.  I got zero response. Surprise surprise.
177  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: DragonMint 16TH/S halongmining.com on: January 08, 2018, 10:08:16 PM
Hotmine responded to me via twitter stating that they ordered one, not that they have received it. They asked me if I have heard negative feedback on Dragonmint. I told them to check bitcointalk.
178  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: DragonMint 16TH/S halongmining.com on: January 08, 2018, 08:49:47 PM
I still recommend to wait until there is more review / other kind of proof.
Been around here long enough to know that. Maybe still will go with the U6s and get these in q2 if they are real.
179  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: DragonMint 16TH/S halongmining.com on: January 08, 2018, 08:47:17 PM
Hotmine.io claims to have received one and will be reviewing it. Isn’t hotmine a confirmed manufacturer utilizing bitfury chips? If this is real it could be real competition for Bitmain for a change.

That's actually a surprising event, and great news!

Since I trust the Hotmine guys.

But doesn't make the Dragonmint miner trustworth yet.

Only after I have seen Hotmine getting their hands on it and reviewing it.

Offtopic: I just recently managed to buy a second Hotmine X5 kit from them, should be here and built this week.  Smiley
I was going to buy 4 U6 kits from them but this could change things if Dragonmint is legit...
