162  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Auction] Titan Mint Silver 0.1 BTC, Loaded, ICG PR69DCAM, with COA on: October 10, 2019, 07:56:20 AM
I have one question regarding the 2017 Titan Mint 0.1 BTC 1 toz 999 Fine Silver coin as I can see it has 2017 make but the address is filled later on 28-05-2018.
Why the filling year of the coin is different?
163  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Anyone Interested in Genesis Series 2 Slabbed 7-Coin Set on: October 10, 2019, 07:19:34 AM
I’d certainly bid at auction.   I haven’t seen one of these up for a long time so I don’t know what these would even be worth anymore.   People used to go nuts for these things so I’m sure at auction you would have a lot of bids.
Thanks, Rmcdermott927  for your kind response. Not many people look interested in the genesis slab. Have to drop the idea of an auction for now. Will keep it for few more years.  Sad
Although, Buy In Now bids are welcome.
164  Economy / Collectibles / Anyone Interested in Genesis Series 2 Slabbed 7-Coin Set on: October 09, 2019, 10:06:09 PM
Looking for a buyer for Genesis Series 2 slabbed 7-coin set.

Type of Metal of genesis coins:
40: Antique gold
60: polished gold
50: antique silver
100: polished silver
50: antique copper
100: polished copper
100: antique brass

There were only 40 (7-coin) sets out of the 100 sets (500 coins).
I guess the slabbed (7-coin) set is rare.

165  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀✨[Rocket.Run] THERE WAS NO SUCH GAME, UNTIL NOW. JOIN THE THRILL. ✨🚀 on: October 09, 2019, 09:08:46 PM
Nice collection of games to bet your money. Had some rocket rides with free money until got busted.
As the topic says, the game was quite thrilling. Sound effects and animation make it more fun. Combination of it was amazing with the multiplier. Graphics can have some improvement but not bad at all.
The site is perfect as of now with some promotions in place it will surely work.
166  Other / Meta / Re: Necro-bumping to encourage members to return to a forum, on: October 08, 2019, 03:28:06 PM
Sending people an unwanted email would not be good. I'm sure We will start getting the mails in junk boxes in a few days.

The forum should do something about the anniversary. Asking veteran members to join the forum on its 10th anniversary will be a good option.
Although a thank you note to all the people who were the part of this forum from the start when the value of bitcoin was nothing.
167  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto Market Update: BTC continues to drop lower, where next? on: October 08, 2019, 09:56:42 AM
Bitcoin price dip is good as it always brings new people to a new world. Whenever the price goes down, new people invest in it. That is ultimately good for it as we go a step closer to mass adoption.
Don't think about dip think about how many people it will bring into the digital currency era.
168  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Turn Old Phones Into Cold Storage Crypto Wallets on: October 08, 2019, 09:20:29 AM
Don't know how long that old device work as keeping that thing charge every time will be a big hustle. Don't think anyone would use a working phone as a hardware wallet.
I will better go to the market and sell the old device to buy a new hardware wallet.
169  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Weird problem with Atomic wallet. Can't send money from Desktop on: October 08, 2019, 08:59:45 AM
Which version you are using and what is your OS? Can you send me the log file?
I'm not sure if you have the log file now as you already uninstalled the software.

Just installed the wallet on my system to replicate the issue.
170  Economy / Lending / Re: Interested in applying for a Loan proposal, (need your views on this) on: October 06, 2019, 10:42:37 PM
And while you're saying "non collateral", it is essentially a collateral since the escrow is holding the coins.
Really? He is not putting a dime on risk. It is collateral-free as well as a risk-free scenario for the borrower.

He's not getting the money into his pocket either, so not quite like that.

There is a couple of issues, or really one issue - the value of the collateral. It's not sufficient during the first month at least, and in addition to the "default scenario" the lender should be able to sell it if the value drops below a certain percentage of the loan balance.
The lender will always be in loss if the borrower decides to default on this loan.
The conditions of this loan are like you are letting someone gamble with your money where he will keep the profits and you will bear the loss if any.
Enough discussion on the topic. All in all, the terms are not worth lending.

Looks like a Win-Win condition for you.
Consider yourself as a lender and me as a borrower with the above conditions.
Tell me, will you fill that kind of loan?

Thanks, Ninja
It will be quite helpful to catch things up quickly. I'll read them all next weekend.
174  Other / Meta / Forum changed a lot in past two years. on: September 22, 2019, 08:20:21 PM
I see too many new implementations that changed the forum a lot.
Like, the Merit system introduced, trust system changed, don't know how DT works now.

Can anyone make a list of changes implemented on the forum in the past two years?

I'm struggling to catch-up the things. Didn't get time to dig up things till now.
175  Economy / Services / Re: [FULL] ChipMixer Signature Campaign | Sr Member+ | Up to 0.0375 BTC/w on: September 21, 2019, 05:21:31 PM
I was very excited to see the winner list as it is the highest paying campaign on this planet.
Darkstar had to go through thousands of post and too many profiles.  Cheesy

Great job Darky

Can't we have a waiting list system here? It will decrease a lot of stress and overhead of choosing the one out of many every time a slot get empty.
176  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Trezor&Keepkey - Unfixable Seed Extraction - A practical and reliable attack! on: August 30, 2019, 07:18:15 PM
I cannot really imagine why would somebody spend money on a hardware wallet that always stays offline / out of reach. But maybe my logic is broken, I don't know.

I see no problem in keeping my hardware wallet out of reach. I feel my funds are completely safe within it. The biggest risk, for me, is the paper where my seed is stored, which is really vulnerable to physical attacks.

As o_e_l_e_o said,  HW are easy to setup and use. I withdrawal my funds from my hardware wallet like 2-3 times a year on the most, so I see no reason to keep it within my reach. I am not a trader, but a holder (in traditional investments and bitcoin).

For small quantities, the bitcoin I want to be in my hands all the time, I use a mobile wallet. Personally, I like electrum and Coinomi. If I lose the money that is stored there, no worries.
Yup, you are right.
I'll it is not only prone to physical attacks, but there is also one more thing you need to avoid.
Although passphrase could be safe in a locker if somehow the ink get removed or letter become unrecognisable with time. I saw a few cases where people were unable to recognize the words on paper. So, better you keep checking it regularly as well.
177  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Trouble Receiving Coin on: August 30, 2019, 06:57:27 PM
I'll suggest you learn basic of cryptocurrency how it works and then purchase it from legit source (for the first time at least) and not friends from the unknown world.

179  Economy / Speculation / Re: How far bitcoin will it go this time and why? on: August 03, 2019, 05:54:07 PM
Good to see this post reached this far, even bitcoin also reached 10k mark as expected before the end of the year.
Altcoins never saw that kind of boost and getting further depreciation in value even with the increase in value of most of the top-ranked coins.
