161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How does affiliate commission works? on: February 05, 2017, 09:49:02 AM
So this is a simple question in which I would like to clear how affiliate commission works. For example, my referral wagered 4.3 btc, profit was -0.099btc. And the site says 15% on edge, how much should I have as commission?

Thank you very much.

Which site do you use? Sportsbook or dice site?

There is some calculation for dice site shows above, I think their solution is coreect.

If this is sportsbook affiliate program, the calculation is much different, the formular: 15%*money of the player lost=15%*0.099 btc, so you can make 0.01485 btc from your referral's loss.

Okay, so its not much that I am missing then. I have 0.00569882btc instead of 0.00645btc, and have 1.84143395ltc instead of the computation if the wagerred amount of my referral is 1354.81663854 ltc.
TO make it simple you get 0.15% of everything  wagered at least thats how the referral system works as i understand it for the site your talking about

Just like explained in the chat. You won't get referral earning in wagering bonuses. So no earnings of free money wagered.

Then the wagered amount with bonus credits/btc shouldn't be shown in someone's referral dashboard, otherwise you get things like this people thinking their ref earnings aren't correct.

It can also be the site doesn't calculate the ref earnings directly but sometimes a hourly or daily update.

163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling vs Real Gambling on: February 04, 2017, 05:15:14 PM
Real gambling is more fun because you meet with friends have some drinks an gamble in the real machines, gambling online is more comfortable but its boring and you can end up losing a lot of money because its way easier to waste money online than you would in real life, so i think real life gambling is the best thing.
I still don't understand how is easier to waste money online than in real casino. It is the same. You can lose the same amount of money and you can waste your money very fast in both ways. If you have money it doesn't make any difference where do you gamble at all.

On the other hand what if you don't have credit card? Or btc in wallet? Can you than say it is easier to waste  money faster in online casino? I don't think so.

Well when I go to a real casino I never take my bank card with me and withdraw a certain amount beforehand, so I don't gamble too much of my money.
Online it's easier to keep on depositing and I can see some can have a problem with that, but a real addicted gambler will always gamble no matter what.

Not yet I just sent BTC to the new address but the old one. still dont receive yet. its a BIG amount thats why im really upset.
If you have sent the coins to your old address you have to start a support ticket regarding it since they said they need to manually proceed if you sent the coins to your old address and there is a lot of pending support ticket to solve i guess.

He had problems opening a support ticket, I forwarded his post here on the forum to support. Hope it helps.
165  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Money laundering via BTC on: February 04, 2017, 02:31:37 PM
I've always been under the impression that bitcoin is completely anonymous but the more I read about it, the more I'm starting to be convinced that it isn't. There would be ways to track the money. There may be services like mixers that might help in the process but these companies could eventually find themselves under government surveillance. Never underestimate the state's capacity to use force.

Though it might seem troubling that they'd probably get around to tracking how we use our money, that's not always a bad thing. Everyone would probably agree that it's our obligation to pay taxes and that most money laundered have been made by stealing people's money (scams, hacking, etc) or exploiting them (drug sales, prostitution rings, etc).

Bitcoin isn't completely anonymous, there are several criminal organizations here rolled up and all their btc was confiscated after that they just followed the trail on blockchain where it all went and even more people got arrested. It does require a lot of work to find such things out but seemingly it can.

I'm not sure what if they would had used randomizes for the coins  where the servers are placed in a country where we aren't allowed acces to. It would for sure had made things more difficult.

Or else people could convert to a true anonymous coin like monero, do some transactions and exchane back to btc to sell it. There are some ways I believe to hide it.

I agree it is our obligation to pay taxes and I'm glad some people are audited who try to get out of it.

167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What type of wallet do you use? on: February 03, 2017, 02:00:06 PM
I use electrum and a couple of web wallets and have some shared addresses where possible. I don't like using the original qt wallet since it eats my cpu and really slows down my internet. I only use full node wallets when they are pos and I can earn something from it by running it.
168  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How people can have so much BTC in their wallet? on: February 03, 2017, 01:46:37 PM
Well, i so curious how can people have so much BTC in their wallet.

I saw on gambling website if they have 10+ BTC, and i found people who say he have 30+ BTC in their wallet.

169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where and which part of day do you gamble? on: February 03, 2017, 01:36:53 PM
I gamble mostly when I'm bored and need to waste some time this can be in the morning, afternoon evening or night, usually I play from home or sometimes at other places when I've brought my laptop. I dislike gambling on my phone though.

Why block chain slow now a days?
Beucase mempool's flooded with unconfirmed transaction. If you've enough or high quality fees of transaction, You'll fast can get through faster, so you deposit will be confirmed. Anyway, Can you show me for tx deposit?

I cant send tix it says Something on the server is broke.
Please check your connection, or trying to clear cookies. Then there you go to start again to join the site.

It also happened to my account yes01 it says server is broke!

They are working on it at the moment, Franklin is right now in chat, and said that a bunch of deposits has been just credited. There are 2 issues now, one is with blockchain, it has over 75k unconfirmed transactions, therefore you have to wait, nothing can be done there, the other "issue" that now you have new deposit address, if you deposit there it should work, but if you deposit to old address you won't receive it automatically. If you can open Ticket it could fasten it, but if you are not able to open it, try to reach a mod in chat, and he can forward your username too. But please be patient. Thanks!

Pretty unbelievable how the blocks are getting solved 10% faster according to:
https://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/difficulty

But yet we are still having issues in getting blocks to confirm.

Pretty much you just need to accept the fact that it will cost you at least $0.20 for the smallest transaction with 1 input and output.

The days of 10-30 Sats per byte are simply long gone. Really wish Segwit was implemented soon to fix these issues.

PD used a fee of 0.00018 on my last withdraw and my coins are waiting to confirm for 18,5 hours. I just send a transaction with 0.00035 fee and it's confirmed in 20 minutes. Because of days like this I think bitcoin should be replaced by something better someday. It will never be widely accepted as it is now.

173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Losses on: February 02, 2017, 07:45:13 PM
As a casual gambler i'm curious how you guys handle your own losses whether it's from dice , sportsbetting , slots or other gambling games..
I want to know your own way of dealing with it.

I say bye in chat close the site, get a beer and just chill and forget. And start a new game later on, but not right away because otherwise I will keep on flushing coins.
174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why we still gambling while we always lose? on: February 02, 2017, 03:33:03 PM
I like to gamble, I don't mind losing some and love to win. I have a lot of free time and spend a lot on the internet, so sometimes I like to play some poker or dice.
As long as you don't lose what you can't afford gambling is fine.  Smiley

blablalbla solid bets 40btc amazing guy.. max bet keep it up all go max 50btc  Wink

People really have guts to gamble such big amounts. How do you just decide to place bets of 40 btc, even if it on a lower payout, I mean this is totally crazy. What was his bankroll?, probably more than 200 btc. Or he was playing with the max button?. This is unbelievable.

I have a feeling that if I could borrow 100 BTC from somebody and bet on 99% win and only take 1 bet. That one roll would be a loser most likely with my lunch.

My guess is that this guy is an early bitcoin adopter and has 1000's of BTC stashed away somewhere on cold storage.

Even worst you would have to bet at 98% since 99% isn't possible on primedice so your chance is even lower, and yeah you can be unlucky on that win chance as well, it's what the site is counting on.
178  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: i didnt even deal with this man on: February 02, 2017, 10:47:57 AM
If i didnt deal with you someone is sending your profile as proof there real so pm me and i can show

I guess he is trying to say :

"I didn't deal with you directly but someone sent me your profile with a proof of you scamming people. If you want you can write me a PM and I'll show you the proof" (?)

Almost, he was sending the profile to show hes legit and i can send the money

If that's all the proof you have it isn't proof at all. Next time when someone shows you his/hers profile ask for a pm to verify.

We all can show any webpage to anyone and claim it's ours.
