Just to be clear... seeing as you, Mr. Tool Bag, did indeed run straight to the mod crying wolf, here is the exact post you keep referring to:

You know what, time for a slight policy change:

After consulting and discussing with BadBear, I've decided that it's time to let people discuss a bit more freely about services. Although BadBear's earlier posts hinted that service posts are a "no go" on most cases, after contacting him a couple of days ago, I believe he has changed his thinking, possibly due to the community's opinion and suggestions (told you it would help Grin).

As per this shift, the following type of posts are now allowed in coin threads:

  • Posts about block explorers. ("Here is a new block explorer for this coin" type posts)
  • If a service comes up in a disussion and directly related to the coin, it's allowed
  • "We're up" messages for pools (if it's only once per thread)
  • "This exchange added coin" type posts for exchanges (again, if it's only once per thread)

However, said rules only apply to those posts that ARE NOT large, distracting with images, or markup codes (lots of bold and colors) and other traits of an advertisement. If a post is considered an advertisement will be determined on case by case basis.

Post your suggestions and opinions regarding this rule and how it should be improved and it might get implemented.

I bolded the single point that makes your continuous crusade against crackfoo pointless... all users that spoke up about xpool in this thread except you have asked for it to continue, the developer of BTCD and James have both expressed their support and even requested the posts of the stats related to this coin continue. In other words... THE SERVICE HAS BEEN DISCUSSED IN THIS THREAD AND THE USER RELATED TO THE SERVICE HAS BEEN REQUESTED BY THE CREATOR OF THIS THREAD AND THE PEOPLE SUPPORTING THIS COIN TO CONTINUE POSTING THIS INFORMATION.

As far as mprep deciding to delete posts, without taking the weight of the forum users requests into the equation, his choice is neglectful and heavy handed at best. I implore the mod to instead, respond in this thread with an example of what they deem an acceptable post so crackfoo can continue to put relative information here.

Now sod off and tell mommy I said you could have another juice to get over yourself.

WOW! Even crackfoo's last post, with no spam nor advertising of any kind was deleted. That is abuse of power... this mod needs to be reported...
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BitcoinDark (BTCD)--Teleport/Telepathy/Ramchains/SuperNET Core on: April 01, 2015, 07:22:07 PM
crackfoo, I hereby formally request that you continue posting the multipool stats. As the official BTCD multipool it is timely and useful information for the community.

I in no way view this as spam and in accordance with forum rules, my official request to continue posting the multipool stats makes it not spam.

Separately, I view all of Icebreaker's posts against this as a nuisance and considering his lack of contributions toward BTCD his complaint has no weight. Further, even after repeated requests to stop posting the same thing over and over, he persists. In fact, it has come to light that he is doing this in other coin's threads also. It is almost as if there is some sort of organized campaign against coins that he views as competitive with his chosen coin.

There probably isnt any forum rule against some sort of organized campaign to squelch others, but in case there is, I would like to invoke it to make icebreaker stop.

James

HERE HERE!!

Motion seconded!

I am no longer going to quote the troll or use his name... they will hence forth be referred to as The Tool Bag.

Mr. Bag... I would like to point out... none of this was a problem, including posts being deleted... until you made a pissing contest out of it. You claim to not have reported a single post, but you sure as hell contacted the mods directly about it because only the posts AFTER your little piss party are deleted, everything March 27th and back is still there.

So, like the forum users have now pointed out, you are alone in your pissing match except you manually dragged a mod into it with your incessant bitching. No one had a problem until you started one. As James pointed out, your actions are the equivalent of the school crossing guard (the student appointed one) screaming because one person isn't walking the way you want them to.

Cry off somewhere else please, not one post thus far from you Mr. Tool Bagness has shown support for BTCD.

Guys, stop feeding the troll(s). Use the ignore feature. Ignoring trolls works just the same it does with toddlers acting out, they'll move on.

All I did was ask you to stop spamming ads for xpool.  That's not trolling.

The disproportionate response to that simple request was trolling.

I hope you've learned your lesson, and will in the future follow the forum's very reasonable rules.

Watch your bums everyone... the newest BTCtalk deputy is keepin' tabs on ya!

At minimum, at least one person agrees with me: my mom who brings me juice boxes and cookies while I troll in her basement.

It's gone and it's never coming back.  Sorry for your loss.   Smiley

Loving it! Are you even looking or just pulling this out of your ass? Or are you individually reporting his posts just to be that loser? I still see several xpool updates so no, they are not being systematically deleted by the mod as you would like to portray.

To boot, it is no feat to get posts deleted anyways. You yourself fell victim to the spamming hammer when I reported you. That post was deleted in case you did not notice.

You must be lonely to want all this attention over needless posts by yourself. I pity you Ice... BTCD satoshi for your thoughts?

If I'm "the only tool here with a problem" then why are Mods deleting crackfoo's pool spam?

YOU CAN'T ANSWER THAT!   Cheesy

Sure I can... you are delusional... i see his posts plain as day over the last few pages... i think you need to relax... you are starting to give yourself some sort of mental issue... woo sah tool bag.

For reasons obvious to most of us, the mods are deleting crackfoo's pool spam.

You are still stuck in the denial phase, trying to bargain and justify that spam.

I'm sorry you are so attached to xpool spam.  Please go to the xpool thread or website and leave the BTCD, etc. threads alone.

Who is "us" again? Not a single person has agreed with you thus far... now who is INACCURATELY speaking for the users? There is no bargain. Nor is there need for justification, because several posters in this thread have already stated they DESIRE and APPROVE of the xpool update posts.

Trollololololol keep it coming Ice... you are making my day that much better.

How nice of you to presume to speak for all the users here.   Roll Eyes

Never mind the fact I am a user, and want to read about BTCD without being interrupted by xpool commercials.

I didn't have to speak for the users... they chose to speak for themselves and plenty have mentioned they appreciate the xpool UPDATES.

You are the only tool here with a problem. Click ignore and you wont see it anymore... you would think a legendary... oops I mean BORDERLINE legendary member of this illustrious forum would have done so already if all they want is to...

...read about BTCD without being interrupted by xpool commercials.

You sound like a spoiled child. Save face, click ignore, and be on your way.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BitcoinDark (BTCD)--Teleport/Telepathy/Ramchains/SuperNET Core on: March 31, 2015, 04:28:57 PM
Dude, enough pool spam.

You don't see slush posting their latest shift stats in Bitcoin threads, so keep xpool stuff in the xpool thread, OK?

Cleverly disguising your xpool ads as "updates" isn't fooling anyone.

At least his posts are updates, with relevant information.

You have now been reported for spamming the EXACT same response  repeatedly.

"Spamming" means advertising.

I'm not advertising anything.  Please learn to internet vocabulary before presuming to correct borderline Legendary members.

Why should I craft a unique response to each xpool post?

The xpool spam is 20% updated info and 80% advert.

They have been removed, thank you Mod!   Cheesy

Stop trying to justify and rationalize crackfoo's spam.  The Mods are deleting it, which means you are flat-out WRONG about it being appropriate and acceptable.

You, sir, are a tool.

Spamming - http://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/english/spamming

Note USUALLY... spamming is not all about "advertising" as you attempt to convey above. The actual definition more appropriately refers to your posts than it does crackfoo's, as his aren't UNSOLICITED. The users have spoken and WANT his posts. Leave it at that.

As far as your borderline legendary status goes... grats on your self importance. Feel free to leave the thread as you have yet to contribute anything valid. Oh, and I plainly see crackfoo's posts still so don't delude yourself thanking the mod.

EDIT thought i would enjoy myself a bit after finding the posts from ICEBREAKER were the ones removed... too funny.

There's nodes on BDSM and Fetish but overall, once XXX is up in lights it would be good to really drive adult digital currencies to operate a "fork of Bitcoin" as its own ecosystem.

Great to know you're on this full time, and theres a dedicated dev team, that means lot to us.

I own 1.5 million XXXCoins so I would say I have already invested quite a bit! Prepared to invest more in time, resource, marketing, helping everything along.

IRC channel would be good or Slackchat? Slack.com i think, IOCoin uses it, I like it. Check it out.

Right behind you Ricky all the way!

Sounds great, when I refer to support I mean the development fund. We got the 100k that was left over form the premine, however, various members of the community mentioned they would donate once I sent them a working wallet but to this day not 1XXX was sent to the donation address. I don't mind doing the work and I enjoy working with crypto, I would love to be able to reward my Dev team with some XxXcoin for their work in order keep them motivated, I can confidently say that they will not sell.

We will continue to push on and are currently working on a number of updates including an App that will be released over the next few days.

In case anyone wants to honor their donation pledge here is that address again. XQWNBaKRZoeNb9YYgKvvurLnbqxUPvRwYk
Transfers via trade key are possible for XxXcoin on Cryptsy, here is the trade key 1e306553681c71c0afa5300bfde05b265e1cc931

Regards

Ricky

All my coins were on Bittrex. Any word?

I got a message back from Richie Lai saying that if they decide to re-list XXXcoin the coins will be back in their rightful place. I responded asking "so what if you do not re-list what then, with some reasons whey I think Bittrext and dealing unethically. We cannon allow these exchanges to act as though they are King and we are the peasants, this kind of behavior has got to stop.

I am waiting on a response and will proceed with whatever necessary action is warranted based on he's response.

The Market was removed on

The Wallet was removed on

https://bittrex.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/203878100-Wallets-to-be-removed-2-1-Updated-2-15-

First, we gave all users _6_ weeks to remove their coins.  I have no idea when the network stopped working, but users were given ample time to remove their coins during this 6 week period.  As it is very clearly stated on our post, no exceptions will be made.  If anyone has the exact block/date the network stopped working please let me know.

Secondly, the fact that you have privately threatened, called us unethical, and accused us of actions, didn't make me want to work with you.  Now that you are publicly doing it reinforces my stance.

To be very clear, your claim that the coins we hold belong and need to be sent to you to be used in your development fund is absurd. We will never honor that.  A simple request to update the wallet and allow users withdrawals would have been the easiest thing to do, but your accusatory tone is completely unprofessional.

richie

That escalated quickly, with no need for it to have done so.

Richie, I would hope there could be better communication and collaboration in regards to the request to restore the XXXcoins to the users who did not remove them from the exchange in time. With all due respect, no one deposits anything of value anywhere with the expectation that should they not look at it for 6 weeks, they forfeit their property. Banks can;t do that. Money services certainly can;t either unless it is expressly stated in an agreement the user actually agrees to. Is there such a statement somewhere on Bittrex when a user signs up stating that at any given moment, if Bittrex says so, they will forfeit their coins should there be reason to remove a particular coin from the site? Yes there was notice given... but 42 days pales in comparison to the legal liability required of any institution dealing with exchanging of goods, assets and funds. Even with this type of notice, Bittrex would still be responsible for some sort of request policy to have coins returned should certain users have been prevented from using the site. What if someone was sent to boot camp the day before your notice? My best friend spent 3 months in the middle of a field in Germany training without any communication back home allowed.

No one here knows exactly what was sent to your team verbatim except the dev who made the request. I on the other hand, very politely sent in a ticket on this same subject, with zero response, asking for nothing more than the wallet to be updated since it was corrected less than 6 weeks since delisting. Don't punish the community for something like the above... it can be worked out.

The only people being hurt here are the actual crypto users... and in all fairness... there should have been a method put in place to claim delisted coin balances after the removal date.

Please take a moment to consider our request, even if the coin is not relisted, several users here would like to reclaim their balances at the very least.

At last... some traction on this coin...

Bootstrap updating now...

I also emailed Bittrex yesterday on behalf of everyone and myself who had coins there and no "meaningful" way to do anything with them... selling at current rates  and withdrawing to a possible fork are not valid options when notified of delisting... and pointed them to what has been going on here. Hopefully, they do the right thing ASAP.

Just want to make it perfectly clear I am in no way connected with The "Bityay Team". I have absolutely nothing to do with this IPO / ICO.

Cam4btc.com and Bityay.com are my only ventures at the moment. I dumped the Bityay name along time ago.

It seems the Bityay Team did not do any name research before hand.

Just... awful... but at 300 satoshis... i can afford to possibly waste some coin on this new offering... in wallet version of the concept with stealth seems way more legit that this ever was.

He hasn't a password. If it was, he could not get staking without unlocking wallet . Wink

Yes but if he unlocks it then it will automatically try to stake that moment... which is likely what happened.

How do I disable PoS?

Do I need to change to:
Quote
gen=0
in the config file?

And what's the estimated time for the coins to return?

Believe you set in the conf file reservebalance=99999999 and that should stop POS... someone correct me on that I have a feeling i stated it incorrectly though...

Yous would think ninjas would do a vote or somethings.

Seem like theys worked like ninjas in the dark to get ghash.   Ninjas are silent i guess.  Seem like complete opposite as saying payout not works for them.

What should wes think ninjas would do after that S3 lease that worded like buys..... ninjas even changed that topic it seemed so scammy on words

GO AWAY! You obviously are not a customer, nor have any interest in Ninjacolo... we all read you post and know how you feel STOP REPEATING IT!
