BAT is shit. It will not see mainstream

Only hype because of Firefox creator behind BAT.
But Firefox is simple free browser thats why it atract people.

I really not understand how Tokens like BAT could collect even 10$ dollar the idea is shit everything around the ICO is shit just the devs are some clowsn.

Some good news for bounty hunters. I see the soft cap has just been reached. Still 9 days to go!

Yeah the ICO seems to go well, this is a good example of a not to greedy planning. In contrast to many ICOs which are just trying to make money and have not intention to deliver a product in the end.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CIVIC, Basic Attention, ... Starnge ICOs with large fundings! on: October 23, 2017, 10:10:42 PM
Civic has real billionaire investors not just some wannabe crypto p&d kidz.

I understand that but who is investing in crap like that and what is the sense in investing into products millions when you don't have any say over it afterwards.
I would prefer investing into a company which I own and not where I buy some usless Tokens from it.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Survey! Investing in ICO on: October 14, 2017, 05:07:36 PM
Hey guys,

I would like to know your opinion about investing in ICO.
And leave a comment below how you inform yourself about the upcoming ICOs.

Greetings.
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: ICO Advertisment on: October 14, 2017, 05:04:01 PM
Hey guys,

more and more I see ICO which are being conducted without even mentions on Bitcointalk. How do this ICOs are attracting investors and from where are they getting all the investors?

Does anyone have an Idea about it?

Greetings!
They have other community medias to spread icos. Further more, they needn't attract all the investors, only a part of the investors is enough.

Yeah but who is nowadays even investing in ICOs ?
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CIVIC, Basic Attention, ... Starnge ICOs with large fundings! on: October 14, 2017, 04:59:36 PM
Hey guys I would like to know one thing! How did you know that ICO like Basic attention token are even running an ICO ?
Like what were your sources bcs for me it seems like some ICOs like CIVIC and others are gathering large sums without even having a proper thread (or not having at all) at bitcointalk.
So I don't really get who is the targetet audience for their ICOs? And where are they doing all their advertisment?
Or is it more some closed door stuff?

Anyone has some insight for me?

Greetings!

This also pokes my curious system. I really don't know where people get infos from these new ICOs i always get left behind. Which really sucks. Specially when the coins skyrockets a few weeks or months later. But now that someone has posted a link where i can see upcoming ICOs, im having second thoughts. Because im afraid that i might get scammed. Damn it. I wish i had someone who could tell me infos which coin is about to launch and will it become successful. Tsk2 :/

Yeah lets say like that Its not like I don't know about upcoming ICOs but it seems like the ICO are attracting a lot of money and that even beyond their cap so.
For some ICOs there is such a huge demand that it simply is beyond their Hardcaps but the ICO don#t really look different from the crap/scam ones, IDK really..

169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CANADA to regulate ICO. RUSSIA is next? on: October 14, 2017, 04:56:52 PM
there should be some regulations about icos worldwide

The question is how would governments enforce such regulations. I can imagine that Bitcoin breaks several laws in several legal jurisdictions, but governments can't do much about it because due to its decentralized nature, there's no some specific target (person or legal entity) government can go after. You see governments targeting crypto to fiat exchanges, precisely because exchanges are legal entities registered in some jurisdiction. But in the end, this won't stop Bitcoin. It certainly affects its price, but it won't stop it.

Back to ICOs. If I were to anonymously create a new ERC-20 token through a smart contract, promote it over at 4chan and sell it off in ICO style, who's gonna stop me? Who's gonna bring a legal action against me? If some government declares my token illegal and ban its trading, how are they going to enforce that? Ban 0x protocol? Good luck with that.

I don't like regulation in general the people have their heads and should decide themself what they want and can do or what they can't.

Exactly. Do you own homework. Don't rely on your government to protect you from strange danger on internet. It seems to me that everyone here wants 1000x profits without any associated risks and that's not how the world works.

Moreover, as a investor I really don't give a sh.t if my investment fails due to team's inability to deliver promised product or if I lose my money due to ICO being the scam. That fact that I might be scammed just makes me more selective that's all.

Yeah exactly. You lose once you learn we are not fck school children. Have been scammed once and I learned my lesson no need for the fck government to educate us!

Yeah I also guess they are simply known
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CIVIC, Basic Attention, ... Starnge ICOs with large fundings! on: September 21, 2017, 03:06:06 PM
I follow twitter, telegram, Reddit and bitcointalk. I found Enigma through Twitter and it turns out to be a huge project.

But it wasn't "just a big project" they must have presented it somewhere to someone with a lot of money beforehand!
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CANADA to regulate ICO. RUSSIA is next? on: September 18, 2017, 09:38:44 AM
Actually did you guys mention that most lets say around 70-80% of all coin projects are actually from Russia or at least Russians?
I mean look at Ethereum or Waves and the dozens ICOs running on them.
Any Idea why it is like that?
177  Bitcoin / Project Development / Advisory Board - Payment on: September 18, 2017, 09:37:03 AM
Hey guys,

I would like to know if anyone of you have any experience with the Advisory board of ICO.
What are the usual conditions of the people are they getting BTC or the Coins whats the usual agreement (or lets say the most common).

Greetings
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CIVIC, Basic Attention, ... Starnge ICOs with large fundings! on: September 18, 2017, 09:35:02 AM
some ICO's are doing a closed funding.. from private investors and perhaps a second funding from the public
or they might even open their token for sale after the private pre-sales

yeah exactly but which investor is investing in stuff like that? Where are they finding the people for this?
I mean investing in ICOs like that is madness!

I know a whale. He attends lots of conferences, meets with promoters, dev team etc. Gets in before any public coin sale with $500k upwards of investment!

Really thats interesting! So I guess he gets waaay better conditions than anyone else? So it really seems that there are people who are really in to it!
I am really very interested in the stuff could you let me know a bit more about the guy??
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: ICO Advertisment on: September 18, 2017, 09:33:49 AM
No bitcointalk doesn't work as a sole source of advertisment for an ICO even during the times of LISK it was already "little " only to have a good thread but now it seems totally irrelevant.
It just doesn't make a difference

Yeah you're correct since Coinmarketcap,Facebooks ads(not campaigns), and Youtube advertisement is so good on advertisement remember there so many failed project who's been relyin on bitcointalk sig campaigns and other inside the furom advertisement. And most like those coin who's relying only on bct is a scam coin.

No not all of them are Scam but usally they are not "profesional" enough. I mean remember LISK I don't think they did anything else than bitcointalk. And succeeded.
